Abstract

The use of information technology in visa services can provide convenience; however, it also gives rise to various problems, as experienced at the South Jakarta Immigration Office, including ineffective mechanisms, technical disruptions, and the potential for identity falsification. The research problems addressed in this study concern how information technology is used in visa services at the South Jakarta Immigration Office based on Law Number 63 of 2024 in conjunction with Law Number 6 of 2011, as well as the obstacles encountered in the use of information technology in visa services at the South Jakarta Immigration Office. This study employs a normative research method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through literature studies and interviews and analyzed qualitatively. The results indicate that visa services at the South Jakarta Immigration Office have implemented information technology through an online-based e-visa system as regulated in Law Number 63 of 2024 in conjunction with Law Number 6 of 2011. All visa application processes are conducted digitally and in real time. The obstacles encountered include internal constraints, such as discrepancies in uploaded data, system validation failures, and technical disruptions, as well as external constraints, including the risk of cyberattacks, potential data breaches, and low levels of users’ digital literacy. These obstacles have been addressed through improvements in technological infrastructure, strengthening of digital security, and the provision of online guidelines to ensure the continuity of optimal services. The Government is expected to enhance continuous evaluation of the electronic visa system.

Abstract

Transaction management and inventory control in automotive Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) often rely on manual record-keeping systems, leading to stock data discrepancies, accounting vulnerabilities, and operational inefficiencies. This study aims to design and implement a Client-Server database information system named Bengkelqu-AI (Accounting & Inventory) at Bengkel Zulva Motor. Data collection was conducted through structured interviews with the business owner to identify business entity requirements and daily transaction workflows. The system was developed using the PHP programming language, MySQL DBMS, Apache web server via the XAMPP package, and Visual Studio Code. The relational database design for dbpenjualan yielded five integrated tables (tvendor, tcustomer, tbarang, tpembelian, and tbpenjualan). The implementation results demonstrate that the system successfully facilitates data processing through Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) operations, automated report generation, and database backup features in .sql format. The deployment of the Bengkelqu-AI system is proven to enhance transaction recording accuracy, minimize potential losses due to human error, and simplify real-time inventory monitoring.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) in realizing regional financial transparency and accountability in the Binjai City BPKPD, with a special focus on the transition period from SIMDA to SIPD. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with five informants, non-participatory observations, and a documentation study of the Binjai City BPKPD Strategic Plan 2025-2029. The analysis used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014) which was interpreted through the six-dimensional model of the DeLone and McLean (2003) Model. The results of the study reveal an asymmetrical effectiveness profile: the quality of information and the use of the system are considered effective; the quality of the system and user satisfaction are quite effective; Meanwhile, the quality of service is less effective due to the absence of formal technical guidance. The net benefits are realized through real-time data transparency and a permanent audit trail, although the full potential of SIPD has not been fully realized as confirmed by the Binjai City BPKPD Strategic Plan 2025-2029.

Abstract

In this digital era, where every organization relies heavily on information technology (IT) for daily operations, ensuring good IT risk management through Information Technology Risk Governance (ITRG) becomes crucial. The risks emerging from this dependency are diverse and complex, ranging from cybersecurity threats to IT system failures to data breaches, which can cause significant financial loss and reputation damage. Effective implementation of ITRG protects the company from these risks and enhances the quality of information produced for decision-making. With these various issues, PT. ABC also aims to enhance the company's value in terms of data security, effective data processing, and producing relevant reports for the company's leaders. PT. ABC conducts an ITRG evaluation in the IT division using a triangulation approach involving interviews with IT managers, which financial and internal audit managers confirm. This step aims to ensure effective ITRG implementation in the IT division. The ITRG assessment of the IT division is based on the governance and culture component of the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), which includes five main principles: risk supervision, operational structure, desired culture, commitment to core values, and attracting, developing, and retaining competent individuals. The research results indicate that the IT division of PT. ABC has effectively implemented these five principles, thus PT. ABC has successfully applied ITRG, hoping to provide adequate data information services to relevant stakeholders.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety in families of critically ill patients in the ICU often arises due to a lack of information about the patient's condition. Purpose: To determine the effect of education about the patient's condition on the anxiety levels of families of critically ill patients in the ICU at RSUD Jampang Kulon. Method: A quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. A total of 46 family members were divided into intervention and control groups, each consisting of 23 participants. Anxiety was measured using the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) before and after the education. The intervention group received structured education, while the control group received standard information. Analysis technique: Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests to examine differences in anxiety levels within and between groups. Results: There was a significant decrease in anxiety scores in the intervention group (p=0.001), whereas the control group showed no significant changes. Most family members in the intervention group shifted from moderate to mild anxiety after the education. Conclusion: Education about the patient's condition effectively reduces anxiety in families of critically ill patients in the ICU at RSUD Jampang Kulon and is recommended as a standard procedure in ICU care.

Abstract

Today's society tends to want things to be fast and efficient, for example, when ordering food or drinks at a cafe. In business, customer satisfaction and quality service are crucial. Therefore, a solution or idea emerged that could simplify ordering through the use and assistance of QR code technology. Menu ordering at Bravura Cafe is still done manually. It can be seen from the recording of transactions that still use sheets of paper, as well as ineffective ordering activities. This causes employees to be quite overwhelmed when the cafe is busy, this can also hamper the performance and quality of service at Bravura cafe. QR code is a system that uses a two-dimensional image code which also comes from the evolution of Barcode. The use of QR codes is very common in many countries. This is because of its ability to store more data than a barcode so that it is able to encode information in various languages. In this study, the research method used is the waterfall method. The design method uses unified modeling (UML). The analysis carried out includes analysis of the current system and analysis of the proposed system. The results of this study are a web-based menu ordering information system using a QR Code with the waterfall method. The author hopes that this system will be useful in facilitating the work of employees and improving service quality.

Abstract

The advent of digital technology over the past decade has transformed the way higher education institutions deliver services to their academic communities. Digital transformation has positioned academic websites as the primary communication channel between students and higher education institutions, yet interface evaluation continues to rely on perception-based methods that fail to capture actual user behavior. This study analyzes interaction patterns of users on a simulative academic information website, identifies interface elements that create friction, and proposes evidence-based design improvements. A quantitative descriptive approach was adopted using Microsoft Clarity as the data collection instrument, which automatically recorded click heatmap, scroll heatmap, movement heatmap, and session replay data. Thirty interaction sessions from 21 unique users were gathered through purposive sampling of active students at Bhinneka PGRI University Tulungagung. The findings reveal that click intensity was concentrated on the homepage and the "Kampus" menu, while average scroll depth reached only 57.11%, session duration averaged 1.1 minutes, and the quick-back rate stood at 36.67%. Additionally, a dead-click rate of 6.67% was observed, reflecting user confusion toward visually interactive but non-responsive elements. Taken together, these results demonstrate that the Microsoft Clarity heatmap method is capable of surfacing usability problems that conventional perception-based evaluation approaches consistently overlook.
