Abstract

The phenomenon of digitalization of education has resulted in a significant transformation in learning practices in schools, especially through the rapid flow of information received by students. This condition causes symptoms of information overstimulation which has the potential to cause academic stress and learning fatigue. This research aims to examine the ontological essence of information overstimulation, stress, and academic fatigue in the context of learning practices in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a critical review of the literature on educational philosophy, educational psychology, and modern learning theory. The findings of this research indicate that, ontologically, information overstimulation is an objective reality that arises from an imbalance between students' cognitive capacities and the demands of an information-rich learning environment. Stress and burnout in learning are understood as psycho-educational entities that are not only individual but also socially and systemically constructive in the educational ecosystem. These findings underscore the need for a reorganization of modern educational practices, taking into account the ontological boundaries of learners as holistic educational subjects. This research implies the importance of learning design that focuses on cognitive balance, psychological well-being, and meaningfulness of learning.

Abstract

Listening assessment should measure learners' ability to understand spoken language in authentic contexts. One alternative technique is Information Transfer, which requires learners to convert spoken information into visual representations such as tables, charts, maps, or diagrams. This narrative literature review examines the theoretical foundations, characteristics, classroom applications, advantages, limitations, and pedagogical implications of Information Transfer in EFL listening assessment. The findings suggest that the technique promotes authentic and learner-centered assessment by emphasizing meaningful listening while reducing the influence of reading and writing skills. However, its effectiveness depends on appropriate task design, suitable listening materials, and learners' proficiency levels. Information Transfer therefore offers a practical alternative to conventional listening assessment in EFL classrooms.

Abstract

Purpose: The study focuses on the impact of Virtual Reality as a therapeutic technology in the context of Smart Healthcare on the rehabilitation of hand amputees and the ability of out-patients to gain computer access in a cost-effective manner. Methods: A qualitative, descriptive bibliometric survey of the literature was undertaken, utilizing peer-reviewed literature relevant to the integration of virtual medical care (V-Med) with the IoT, EHR, and CDSS. The literature examined was categorized into two analytical domains - physical and clinical opportunities and technical challenges. Results: The evidence suggests that cloud focused Virtual Reality (VR) helps people with Phantom limb pain and reduces the time required for amputees to achieve the adaptation to a prosthesis. The disadvantages of VR technology will only be realized when VR technology, EHR and the Internet of Everything (IoE) systems coalesce. This is where the central issue of technical feasibility lies. Novelty: The presentation here outlines a shift in attitude towards Virtual Reality. Rather than isolating it from a continuum encompassing all virtualization in the cloud with amputee rehabilitation modalities, we embrace it. We propose a framework that integrates cloud-based IoT wearables, EHRs, and CDSS into a Smart Healthcare ecosystem, thus outlining a feasible, affordable scalable virtual rehabilitation path.

Abstract

Purpose: This study evaluates the performance of a Virtual Network Computing (VNC)-based remote monitoring system within a Flight Information Display System (FIDS) environment. The research aims to identify infrastructure factors affecting monitoring performance and to develop a data-driven framework for evaluating monitoring reliability in distributed airport systems. Methods: Correlation analysis, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and multiple linear regression were applied to analyze the relationship between system resource utilization, network characteristics, and monitoring performance. The dataset consisted of 1,000 observations collected under various simulated monitoring conditions representing variations in latency, throughput, CPU utilization, and memory usage. Residual analysis and model evaluation were also performed to validate the statistical model. Result: The results showed that most infrastructure variables had very weak correlations (−0.02 to 0.05), indicating minimal multicollinearity. ANOVA testing revealed no statistically significant latency differences across low, medium, and high CPU load categories (F = 0.1625, p = 0.8500), with average latency remaining stable at approximately 52.82 ms. Regression evaluation demonstrated stable residual distribution and acceptable model consistency. The findings indicate that monitoring performance is influenced more by network conditions, particularly latency and throughput variability, than by computational load. Novelty: This study proposes an integrated analytical framework combining correlation analysis, ANOVA, and regression modeling to evaluate VNC-based monitoring performance in distributed systems. The framework provides a practical and reproducible approach for monitoring performance evaluation and infrastructure optimization in airport monitoring environments.

Abstract

This study analyzes the information literacy skills of the community based on the Empowering Eight model at the SNC Fannaz civilization house in Sei Mencirim Village, Deli Serdang Regency. The aim was to determine the community's literacy skills based on the Empowering Eight model. The method used was a survey and questionnaire with descriptive statistical data analyses. The results of the study showed that based on the calculations of the Grand Meanon eight model indicators of Empowering Eight (E8), the information literacy skills of the members of the SNC Fannaz Civilization House showed very optimal achievements and were in the very high category for all aspects. Mastery of the Search and Assessment Stages (Identify, Explore, Select, Access): The four indicators with the highest average values (3.49 - 3.58) are Explore (3,49), Select (3,58), Present (3.54), and Access (3.50). This shows that members have a very strong ability to seek information from various sources (Explore), select and evaluate the most relevant information (Select and Access), and effectively present their findings (Present). The achievement of the management and utilization stages (Organize, Create, Apply) was measured by the indicators Organize (3,36), Apply (3.27), and Create (3.11). Although Create (3.11) is the lowest value among all indicators, it is still in the very-high category. This shows that the ability of members to create new information products from existing sources is the aspect that needs the most improvement, but fundamentally, it is still very good.

Abstract

Universitas Brawijaya, a state university that previously operated as a Public Service Agency (Badan Layanan Umum), officially transformed into a Legal Entity State University (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Berbadan Hukum, PTN-BH) in October 2021. This change in institutional status granted the university the autonomous authority to formulate and enact internal regulations, including those governing the procurement of goods and services. In exercising such authority, Universitas Brawijaya has enacted several Rector Regulations regulating the procurement of goods and services, inter alia, Rector Regulation of Universitas Brawijaya Number 98 of 2021 as amended by Rector Regulation Number 106 of 2022, as well as Rector Regulation Number 36 of 2022 concerning the Technical Guidelines for the Procurement of Goods/Services. Efforts to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of goods and services procurement management have been pursued through the implementation of an electronic procurement system utilizing the Electronic Procurement Service Information System (Silapetro). Nevertheless, after nearly three years of implementation, various issues remain evident in terms of the regulatory framework and the practical execution of goods and services procurement at Universitas Brawijaya. Based on these circumstances, this study aims to examine and analyze the effectiveness of the regulation of goods and services procurement through Silapetro as an instrument for implementing the principles of Good University Governance at Universitas Brawijaya. This research employs a normative juridical method with a qualitative juridical approach, focusing on the analysis of primary legal materials, particularly Presidential Regulation Number 16 of 2018, as amended by Presidential Regulation Number 12 of 2021, as well as the relevant Rector Regulations governing goods and services procurement at Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and develop a systematic or analytical web-based integrated inventory information system for PT. Asia Persada Nusantara, analytical used by PIECES framework. Based on a case-study approach, both with the SDLC methodology with a prototyping model, the requisite data were acquired by a complete review of documents and by conducting interviews with stakeholders. The Object Oriented Tool Development was modeled using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to define the functional and non-functional requirements. The resultant design captures role-based authentication, stock reservation systems, processing of goods receipts including the processing of delivery notes, keeping of discrepancies, payment and reconciliation systems, and role-based audit trails as a way of enforcing operational control. The shared schema of the relational database using ERD supports the atomic transactions of the key turbines (reservation, transaction creation, commitment) and helps to reduce the risk of overselling and information inconsistency. It is proposed that a staged implementation plan (Minimum Viable Product) should be used with an initial focus on real-time inventory and reservation logic to achieve more immediate operations payoffs. The indicators of future improvement in stock accuracy and process efficiency are stated by impact assessment, whereas the real benefits depend on piloting testing, initial data quality, and organizational readiness. This research provides a technical map that is suitable for developing prototypes and validating them empirically.

Abstract

Transparency in social assistance governance remains a key challenge in improving targeting accuracy and public trust, particularly at the village level. This community service study examines the impact of decile-based public information socialization on community understanding of social assistance distribution and the Kartu Indonesia Sehat (KIS) program in Banjareja Village, Kebumen Regency. Using a pre-experimental one-group pre-test–post-test design, data were collected from 32 participants, including village officials and RT/RW representatives. Community understanding was measured using a structured questionnaire administered before and after the socialization activity. Owing to the non-normal data distribution, differences between the pre-test and post-test scores were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test. The results indicate a statistically significant improvement in community understanding following the socialization activity (p < 0.05). The findings suggest that combining public information transparency with interactive discussions enhances policy literacy and supports participatory engagement in social assistance governance. The involvement of local actors reflects the practice of co-production, in which communities actively contribute to understanding and monitoring welfare policies. This study highlights the importance of participatory, data-informed socialization as a practical approach to strengthening transparency, accountability, and community engagement in social assistance programs at the village level.
