Abstract

This study aimed to explain the effect of the utilization of information technology and the role of lecturers in accounting learning on the value of conservation character and academic performance of "Generation Z" students, both directly and indirectly through mediation. The population in this study was selected purposively with a sample of 185 accounting education students in 2015. This research used a mixed methods approach and the type of research was a case study. The test results directly indicated the utilization of information technology and affected the academic performance of Generation Z students. The role of lecturers in accounting learning affected the academic performance of Generation Z students. The utilization of information technology affected the value of conservation character. In addition, the role of lecturers in accounting learning also affected the value of conservation character. There was an effect of the conservation character value on the academic performance of generation Z students. Mediation testing also showed the effect of the utilization of information technology on the academic performance of generation Z students through conservation character values. The role of lecturers in accounting learning affected the academic performance of generation Z students through the value of conservation character. This research is expected to contribute both to practice and in the theoretical realm. For educators and generation Z, it should be wise to use information technology by paying attention to conservation values. For the theoretical realm, it is necessary to continue to develop and study this topic in different sectors.

Abstract

Kajian ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa guru dituntut harus memiliki kompetensi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) sesuai dengan perkembangan pendidikan di Indonesia dan bahwa telah dikembangkannya portal Rumah Belajar oleh Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Pustekkom) sejak tahun 2011. Tuntutan bahwa guru harus memiliki kompetensi TIK juga berlaku bagi guru-guru di daerah tertinggal. Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana guru daerah tertinggal tersebut memanfaatkan portal Rumah Belajar untuk meningkatkan kompetensi TIK mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan portal Rumah Belajar di daerah tertinggal; 2) memotret kondisi kompetensi TIK guru daerah tertinggal; dan 3) menganalisis hubungan pemanfaatan portal Rumah Belajar dengan peningkatan kompetensi TIK guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data survei terhadap guru daerah tertinggal. Penetapan guru sebagai sumber data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposif. Dari hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara pemanfaatan portal Rumah Belajar dengan peningkatan kompetensi TIK guru daerah tertinggal. Koefisien korelasi hasil survei adalah 0.67, dan ini termasuk dalam kategori korelasi tinggi. This study is based on the fact that teachers are required to have competency on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in accordance with Indonesian education development and that Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Pustekkom) has been developing a portal of Rumah Belajar since 2011. Teachers in left areas are also required to have competency on ICT. The problem is how teachers in left areas utilize the portal of Rumah Belajar to enhance their competence on ICT. The objectives of this study are 1) to explore the utilization of Rumah Belajar portal in left areas; 2) to picture the teachers’ ICT competency in left areas; and 3) to analyize the relationship between te utilization of Rumah Belajar portal and teachers’ ICT competency enhancement. This study applies the survey data collecting technique from the teachers in left areas. The pointing of teachers to be the respondents is done with the purposive technique. Based on the analysis result, it can be summarized that there is positive correlation between the utilization of Rumah Belajar portal and teachers’ ICT competency improvement in left areas. Correlation coefficient of this study is 0.67, which is categorized as high correlation category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di daerah tertinggal terutama aspek: 1) pembelajaran siswa, 2) kontribusi terhadap guru, dan 3) partisipasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 4 Cijaku Kabupaten Lebak Banten. Sekolah ini merupakan katagori daerah Terdepan Terpencil, dan Tertinggal (3T) yang mendapat program pemanfaatan TIK dari Pustekkom Kemdikbud. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik: wawancara, wawancara mendalam, dan pengamatan. Hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa pemanfaatan TIK dalam pembelajaran telah memberikan kontribusi bagi siswa terutama aspek: pembelajaran lebih menarik, motivasi belajar meningkat, wawasan bertambah, serta meningkatkan harapan melanjutkan sekolah ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi, dan mengubah cita-cita untuk meraih hidup yang lebih baik. Kontribusi terhadap guru: memacu untuk terus belajar, mendalami kemampuan TIK, meningkatkan ilmu pengetahuan, pendalaman substansi materi pelajaran, dan metode pembelajaran. TIK juga membantu tugas dan peran guru dalam pembelajaran. Pemanfaatan TIK juga meningkatkan kepercayaan dan tinkat partisipasi masyarakat untuk menyekolahkan anaknya ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi, termasuk mendukung program sekolah lainnya. Diketahui pula bahwa tingkat pemanfaatan TIK ini masih belum optimal karena keterbatasan SDM dalam penguasaan TIK, sehingga kegiatan pelatihan dan pembinaan perlu dilakukan secara bertahap dan berkesinambungan oleh berbagai pihak terkait.This study aimed to determine the contribution of information and communication technology (ICT) utilization in remote areas, especially in the aspect of: 1) student learning, 2) contribution to the teacher, and 3)  community participation. This research was conducted at the Junior High School 4 Cijaku Lebak Banten. This school was one of schools in frontier, remote and undeveloped areas that received ICT utilization program from Pustekkom, Ministry of Education and Culture. The used a qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted with techniques: interview, in-depth interview, and observation. The results of the analysis of the data showed that the use of ICT in teaching has certain contribution to the students, especially in the aspect of: learning to be more interesting, increasing learning motivation, increasing insight, as well as increasing hope to continue studying to a higher level of school, and changing the aspiration to achieve a better life. Contributions to the teacher include: spurring to continue to learn, exploring the potential of ICTs, improving science, deepening the substance of the subject matter and methods of learning. ICTs also ease teacher’s task and role in learning. Utilization of ICT also increases public confidence and participation in sending their children to a higher level and in supporting other school programs. It was found that the rate of utilization of ICT is still not optimal due to limited human resources in the mastery of ICT, so that the training and development need to be done gradually and continuously by the various stakeholders.

Abstract

Investasi dalam bidang teknologi informasi menjadi salah satu aspek penting dalam strategi organisasi saat ini.Organisasi harus mampu mengambil keputusan investasi teknologi informasi secara tepat.Namun keuntungan dari hasil investasi teknologi informasi menjadi sulit ditentukan karena adanya biaya dan manfaat yang sulit diberi penilaian.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesuksesan investasi Sistem informasi Rumah Sakit (SIRS) yang telah diimplementasi oleh Rumah Sakit Vita Insani Pematangsiantar dengan menggunakan metode Information Economics (IE).Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kepustakaan, wawancara, kuesioner, dan metode analisis.Dari hasil penelitian, investasi yang telah dilakukan oleh perusahaan sangat bermanfaat karena SIRS yang sedang berjalan dapat mendukung rencana strategik perusahaan sekaligus meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan dan berpredikat baik dalam investasi teknologi informasi.Kata Kunci: Information Economics, Investasi, Sistem Informasi Rumah Sakit

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi pada perusahaan atau organisasi sudah banyak dilakukan. Namun demikian penggunaannya masih sebatas pada tingkat teknis atau operasional dan belum sepenuhnya mendukung proses bisnis yang ada.  Dibutuhkan seorang CIO yang mampu menyeleraskan strategi TI dengan strategi bisnis agar perusahaan atau organisasi mampu bertahan hidup di lingkungan bisnis yang kompetitif. Namun ada beberapa hambatan yang dihadapi oleh seorang CIO, salah satunya terdapat “dinding pemisah” antara CIO dan staf TI. Dibutuhkan peran kepemimpinan CIO dan kompetensi soft skill sehingga bisa menghilangkan sekat pemisah demi terwujudnya keselarasan strategi TI dan bisnis yang lebih matang.

Abstract

The study about impact of limited oral antituberculosis information delivered bypharmacist to patient compliance and their quality of life in two public health centers inYogyakarta has been carried out. This study was performed using cohort eventmonitoring design, with 14 pulmonary TB patients and positive Acid Resistant Basilwere treated with oral antituberculosis (OAT) for at least 1 month and were older than15 years old. We observed the compliance of one group of patients using oralantituberculosis who were serviced with OAT information and the other group withoutOAT information service. The patients’ compliance was checked by counting theremaining OAT and by interviewing the patients, meanwhile patient’s quality of lifewere measured by SF-36 instrument. The correlation between limited OAT informationservice and patient compliance were analysed using Chi Square and quality of patient’slife were analysed using Independent t-Test with 95% confidence level. It was shownthat characteristics of patients such as age, gender, education, duration of illness, andDirectly Observed Treatment involvement did not influence patient compliance. Therewas no significant correlation between limited OAT information service to patientcompliance and patients’ quality of life (P>0.05). There is no impact of limited OATinformation service to the TB patients’ compliance and their quality of life. Wesuggested that the further and deeply information service delivered by pharmacists inthe public helath centers in Yogyakarta should be carried out.

Abstract

Tantangan deteksi serangan saat ini adalah jumlah trafik yang besar dan beragam serta hadir jenis serangan baru. Sehingga diperlukan teknik baru untuk meningkatkan performa deteksi. Dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi layanan komunikasi, menghasilkan trafik dengan informasi yang beragam. Pada dasarnya tidak semua informasi pada trafik jaringan digunakan untuk mendeteksi serangan seperti DDoS. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan performa Random Forest dalam mendeteksi serangan DDoS dengan seleksi fitur menggunakan teknik Information Gain. Berdasarkan hasil eksperimen diperoleh bahwa teknik yang diusulkan mampu meningkatkan akurasi deteksi DDoS hingga 99.99% dengan tingkat alarm palsu 0.001

Abstract

Basically, the functions of computers are generally used as a medium for storing data and programs in which there are many applications that can facilitate and support a man's work. At the administration of the institution Baitul Maal Pupuk Kujang, data processing about zakat, infaq and sodaqoh (ZIS), reports, and data storage is done manually. Error and inaccuracies of data can be occurring in this case. To help simplify the ZIS management system in that section, program design is the best solution to solve the problems that exist. Data processing is more accurate because of the availability of the form data entry and storage media are centralized in a single database that will make the ZIS management system become more effective and efficient. This aplication program was created with a simple and interactive interface but can process data well and can meet the requirement of the system, so that users can easily use it

Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah membentuk/mengembangkan sekelompok masyarakat sebagai calon pengusaha yang mandiri secara ekonomi dengan target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah memberikan pendampingan dalam manajemen usaha terutama pengelolaan keuangan dan pendampingan dalam pembukuan dan penyusunan anggaran modal yang dilaksanakan pada UKM IT (Information Technology) di Malang.     Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah usaha ?The Mastej Studio? yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa pembuatan software, website, dll. Kantornya ada di Jalan Delima Kav. 66 Dermo, Mulyoagung Malang. Permasalahan yang dikeluhkan mitra adalah pengelolaan keuangan yang belum baik, belum mampu menyusun perencanaan keuangan, belum mampu menganalisis BEP, belum mampu menyusun Laporan keuangan. Metode yang akan dipakai dalam menyelesaikan masalah mitra adalah memberikan pendampingan dan tutorial dalam  pengelolaan keuangaan.

Abstract

This research was aims to determine the mutual fund performance to the benchmark by using Sharpe, M Square and Information Ratio Method. The population in this research was mutual fund listed in Financial Service Authority as many as 245 mutual funds. The sample collection has been carried out by using purposive sampling technique. Based on determined criteria, the samples are 23 mutual funds. The measurement of mutual fund performance and its benchmark used Sharpe, M Square and Information Ratio Method. The analysis the data, this researh is defferent test by using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23. The result of this research shows based on the Mann-Whitney U different test has concluded that there is no significant difference of mutual fund performance with LQ-45 Index measured by Sharpe Method. There is no significant difference of mutual fund performance with LQ-45 Index measured by M Square Method. There is no significant difference of mutual fund performance with LQ-45 Index measured by Information Ratio Method. Moreover, the result of this research shows based the Kruskal Wallis different testhas concluded that there is no significant different of mutual fund performance measured by Sharpe, M Square and Information Ratio Method.Key Word : Mutual Fund, Mutual Fund Performance, Sharpe, M Square and Information Ratio
