ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengusulkan bagaimana ilmu komunikasi diterapkan pada Mitigasi Bencana. Terutama, berdasarkan bagaimana Komunitas dan Komunikasi Bersinergi untuk Membuat Mitigasi Bencana Menengah, khususnya dalam Menyelesaikan Masalah Kesehatan setelah Bencana. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi proyek percontohan untuk BNBP Indonesia dan Dinas Kesehatan,dalam menentukan sikap pemerintah untuk langkah-langkah selanjutnya dalam melindungi orangorang yang berada di wilayah Rawan terhadap bencana alam di Indonesia. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian, jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan. Jenis Tindakan Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan partisipatif. Hasil unit unit pemetaan daerah yang terkena dampak akan menghasilkan tingkat prioritas manajemen pasca bencana Letusan Gunung Agung. Rencana aksi untuk mitigasi bencana akan dibahas dalam media komunikasi yang dibentuk secara organik, baik berdasarkan teknologi komunikasi atau media komunitas lokal, seperti Pasebaya. Program Penyelesaian Kesehatan ini mengacu pada Kerangka Utama Pencegahan Bencana SDG di Lempeng Asia Pasifik. BNPB Nasional juga berupaya untuk menerapkan Kerangka Sendai 2015-2030 tentang Mitigasi Bencana di Asia, khususnya Indonesia yang memiliki Resiko Bencana Tinggi di Asia Tenggara. Negara-negara Mengingat pentingnya program ini, semua daerah rawan bencana di Indonesia harus menerapkan program pengurangan risiko bencana berbasis masyarakat.

This study was conducted on 17th October - 27th November 2016 at Gili Asahan, Gili Layar, and Gili Gede in West Sekotong, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The purpose of this study was to analyse a suitable area for sea cucumber cultivation (Holothuria scabra). Data collection had been done by survey method, acquiring primer and secondary data directly related to sea cucumber's life and analyzed by using Geographic Information System software. A physical parameters include temperature 29,14 – 30,240C, the water transparancy of the 0,78 – 1,35 m, the current speed from 0,2 to 0,7 m/s, rainfall of 174 mm, protection: protected, fairly protected and unprotected, depth 0,78 to 1,35 m, the tide of 0,9 m. Land suitability classes are determined based on the interval between the other classes S1 (40-42), S2 (37-39) and N (34-36). Based on the results of scoring that has been adapted to the class interval obtained sample points with a very appropriate category (S1) including A1, C1, C4, C5. Then for the corresponding category (S2) between the A2, A3, C2, C3. Meanwhile, according to the category is not contained in the sample points B1, B2 and B3.

Preprocessing is an important task and step in Information Retrieval. Information Retrieval (IR) is used to decide which documents in a collection must be taken to meet the user's information needs. The comparison is done in 4 steps in preprocessing, namely Case folding, Tokenizing, Filtering, Stemming.All stages of the preprocessing are done manually during the teaching-learning process. The lecturer explained by writing and explaining one by one the correct words at each stage and students also manually reviewed each stage. Simulator is needed to help solve existing problems. The simulator has been successfully created by displaying 6 menus. The simulator has succeeded in outputting each stage according to the manual theory. From the results of the testing questionnaire,> 90% of respondents thought that using this simulator made it easier to work on the four stages of text pre-processing so that the time needed also became efficient.

Background of the study: The Internet has become part of society's daily life. But the phenomenon shows that not all people are Able to use information technology and the Internet efficiently, and the information disseminated through the internet is not entirely quality information. Therefore, Internet users need digital literacy skills, that is the ability to use information technology efficiently and the ability to find, Evaluate, use, make information, and use it wisely, and lawfully. The problem is who should be held responsible to digital literacy education for the community. Public libraries can play a role in the digital literacy education for the community.Purpose: This study aims to find out how the management of ICT education in the Regional Public Library (PUSDA) of Sumedang Regency, West Java, as an effort for digital literacy education community.Method: The research method used is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis, and the data collection techniques with observation, interviews, focus group discussions, and literature study.Findings: The result shows the subject taught in ICT with the relevant training on participants' needs. The participants are students and jobless. Most of of participants did not have Reviews their own computer, they were very happy to take part in the ICT training in the library because it was free. Teachers are library staff and outside personnel assistance. Computer used are owned by the library and donations from industry. The way of teaching was easy to understand and the participants could practice using computers and search the internet. The PUSDA staff organized the training with enthusiasm.Conclusion: There are some aspects that are already owned by the public library which will support the implementation of digital literacy education effectively and efficiently. Among them is the library already has computer facilities, has a staff of professionals, and already has access to sources of digital information online

Currently the system that is running still has many shortcomings and weaknesses causing the company's performance to be hampered and has not been able to support all the needs that the company wants such as the report preparation that is long enough so that the owner waits long to get it. This study aims to analyze and design a web-based inventory system that can present the information needed. Operations that run on this system are: check goods, input sales data, input purchase data, convection data input, purchase reports, and sales reports. The use of this system is divided into two accesses, namely for employees and owners so that they can easily manage goods data. The development tools used in this study use the CI, PHP framework as a programming language and phpMyAdmin 4.7.9 as the MySQL DBMS interface. Design and design an inventory system for TransitCo Bandung goods using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method as its modeling tool. This Inventory system is web and mobile based so it is more dynamic and can be used easily and user friendly. Background: Self-management and support in managing therapeutic regimens is very important for patients with CKD. Information technology-based interventions are increasingly being used to support the self-management of patients with CKD. This study aimed to conduct a systematic review to evaluate information technology-based interventions in relation to the support of the health management of patients with CKD.Method: We conducted a systematic review using electronic databases (Scopus, Science Direct, ProQuest) limited to the last 8 years from 2010 to 2018 with the relevant keywords. The studies included used RCT, pilot and case-control methods focusing on patients with CKD stage 1-5 and that reported on at least one outcome from the health management of patients with CKD.Result: Out of the 7.852 studies taken, 13 studies fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The interventions in this systematic review are multifaceted, including smartphone/PDA (6/13), telematics devices (2/13), internet/web (3/13) and a combination of several interventions (2 studies). In total, 12 (92%) out of the 13 studies showed a positive outcome from the intervention, 7 studies showed improved outcomes in the clinical points, 3 studies had improved adherence and 2 studies improved knowledge.Conclusion: This evidence indicates the potential of IT-based interventions (i.e. smartphone/PDA, computer, internet/web, telematic device) to support the health management of patients with CKD. The variety of interventions in this systematic review requires further research on which interventions are best applied.

This study investigated the relationship between collection development variables, and utilization of information resources in university libraries, south-south, Nigeria. To achieve the purpose of this study, two research questions were raised and two hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Ex-post facto research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study was 16620 students and a sample of 800 respondents was awareness for the study. The awareness was done through the stratified and purposive random sampling technique. The results of the analyses revealed a significant relationship between awareness, acquisition and utilization of information resources. Based on these findings, it was recommended, among others that: Government should prioritize funding for the acquisition of information resources for university libraries

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out whether there are significant effects of information gap technique on the speaking ability of the second year students of SMPN 1 Sungai Apit. This is a pre-experimental research conducted by using a pre-test – treatment – post-test design. This research used one group pre-test post-test design.The instrument used in this research was tests (pre-test and post-test). The population of this research was 113 of the Second Year Students of SMPN 1 Sungai Apit and the sample of this research was VIII 2 of SMPN 1 Sungai Apit which is total number of students of class was 20 students. Cluster random sampling method was used to select one class to be the sample. The data of this research were collected by giving the speaking tests (pretest-posttest) to the students. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The results of data analysis showed the mean score of pre-test was 52.47 and the mean score of post-test was 67.20.Based on the data analysis, It can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and the post-test because the t-test observed was higher than t-table. In other words, the alternative hypothesis of this researchwas accepted and null hypothesis was rejected. It also meant that teaching speaking by using information gap technique was effective to improve the students’ speaking ability. Keywords: Speaking Ability, Information Gap, Technique

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipologi pemilih pemula berdasarkan akses informasi politik di media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner pada 105 responden dengan metode sampling menggunakan quota sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, skor rataan dan Analisis Varian (ANOVA). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa karakteristik pemilih pemula di Kabupaten Bogor didominasi wanita, pendidikan SLTA. Instagram adalah media sosial yang paling banyak digunakan sebagai akses berita politik. Tipologi pemilih pemula dari persentase yang paling besar adalah pemilih apatis diikuti oleh pemilih naif, teralienasi dan setia, media, semakin banyak akses berita melalui media sosial mendorong pemilih menjadi setia, tanpa mengakses politik melalui media sosial membuat pemilih menjadi apatis.
