Abstract

Abstract— The paper presents the results of a study devoted to the analysis of the criteria for the success of graduates in information management of educational system for supply chain. The relevance of the study is dictated by the increased interest of universities to the success of their graduates, which is associated not only with positions in the prestigious world ranking of QS Top universities, but also with problems of managing the competitiveness of universities and communications with potential consumers of educational services. The proper supply chain in educational system needs proper information, so lack of information integration makes difficulties in high schools, universities and careers. The study used such methods of data collection as a content analysis of scientific publications, a survey of respondents, and statistical data analysis implemented in the SPSS statistical package were used as data analysis. Results: analysis of survey data allowed us to describe a multi-level image of a successful graduate, formed in the minds of respondents, in the context of personal qualities, approaches to building a career, rating of personalities of successful people, time of interest in the profession, job characteristics of a university graduate in the first year. For the first time, the work presents a comparative description of the image of a successful university graduate and a rating of successful personalities in the context of senior students 'and students' points of view. Practical significance: the results are of interest for departments and structural divisions of universities, working with high school students and their parents, in the context of building communication, building a dialogue for directional impact and developing advertising materials. The results of the study allow to determine the successful graduates based on the supply chain, information about which should be broadcast in the content of the university (on the website, in groups of social networks, Indoor- and print advertising).

Abstract

Indonesia is viewed as one of the biggest exporters and producer of foods and also plays an essential role in the development of Indonesia economy. Nevertheless, food industry provides help to the country to generate high level of income. To effect the performance of food industry, there are lot of factors. For this purpose, it is intensively challenging to choose that factor which effects more in the performance of food industry that could lead to a negative or the positive impact on another factor. Therefore, objective of the study is to explore the moderating effect of the information sharing on the relationship of supply chain management (SCM) capabilities and business performance (BP) of Indonesia food industry. Using cross sectional research design, 500 questionnaires were distributed among the supply chain managers of food industry by using a judgmental sampling technique which yield a 40% response rate. The data was analyzed by the Structural Equation Modeling technique. The key findings of the study have shown that SCM capabilities have positive and significant association with the BP. Similarly, it was also shown that information sharing significantly moderates within two components of SCM namely, strategic sourcing, technology capability and BP. Whereas has insignificant moderating effect on the relationship of logistic integration commitment and BP.  Hence, current study contributed some theoretical implications in the existing body of literature. The study limitations and future directions are also being discussed.

Abstract

Counterfeiting products trend of production, distribution and consumption is rising at an alarming rate. In Malaysia, counterfeiting has a market value worth $772.5 million and Malaysia is ranked number 40 in the world. For counterfeiters doing counterfeiting activities might ease their marketing strategy because they can easily join the popularity of the genuine branded goods. However, for genuine entrepreneurs, makers, and designers, the effects of counterfeiting resulted in loss of goodwill, damaging the brand’s reputation, equity and trust in the company. The objective of this study is to observe the influence of two social factors including informative and normative susceptibility which is related to consumers’ attitude and consumers’ purchasing intention of counterfeit products. The foundation of the variables for this study was assessed by using a validated online survey questionnaire through convenience sampling with a total of 207 respondents involved. The result indicated that informative susceptibility has negative, but significant relationship towards purchase intention of buying counterfeit products. It has proved that the more information the consumers get on the counterfeit products the lesser their purchase intention. However, subjective susceptibility has no relationship with intention to purchase counterfeit products. Future research directions and recommendations were also discussed in this research.

Abstract

Institutions are accelerating to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage in supply chain, its range is expanding to find the tools to help them achieve this purpose, and the growing need for these organizations to understand their current status as well as their potential. Therefore, organizations always depend on information systems to process transactions, develop products, access a large proportion of their budgets to support their operational and commercial activities, and how to acquire knowledge for business owners to access these investments. Wealth, naturally, includes an assessment of information technology and a link to business success and access to potential assets within existing innovation mechanisms primarily on the strategic emphasis of organizations in particular. The aim of this research is: to discuss the importance of integrating business strategy and information systems in the framework of achieving sustainable competitive advantage in supply chain and its impact on the sustainability of organizations and their endurance in a world of intense competition and rapid change. Design / Methodology / Approach: reviews and discusses existing literature of interrelationship and framing between business strategy, and customer relationship management systems (CRM) for related issues. Conceptual models are presented to clarify the interrelationship and impact between search streams. Results - the research finds a set of most important results is that if business organizations achieve a sustainable competitive advantage in supply chain, this requires them to match their own business strategy and information systems with the use of their resources and information and their compatibility with competitors' resources and capabilities in the context of competitive environment and how to maintain this feature which helps them achieve institutional distinction compared to their competitors. Practical fallouts: The main implications of practical fallouts revolve around the idea that "in today's intense competition markets, organizations must aim to seek sustainable competitive advantage in order to be competitive, and information systems will play a critical role in generating the necessary data that can through which organizations develop and implement business strategy, which in turn promotes the practice of success and achieve superiority at the business level.

Abstract

Abstract- Utilization of Supply Chain Management (SCM) practice by businesses has a number of consequences for internal management information systems. The fourth industrial revolution will have a monumental impact on the global economy, so vast and multifaceted that it makes it hard to disentangle one particular effect from the next. Indeed, all the big macro variables one can think of GDP, investment, consumption, employment, trade, inflation and so on will be affected. This paper contributes to discussion concerning the desirability of improving external reporting and audit assurance by identifying and reporting internally generated qualitative SCM information that is critical to achievement of business objectives. The impact that the fourth industrial revolution will have on economic growth is an issue that divides economists. On one side, the techno pessimists argue that the critical contributions of the digital revolution have already been made and that their impact on productivity is almost over. In the opposite camp, techno-optimists claim that technology and innovation are at an inflection point and will soon unleash a surge in productivity and higher economic growth. Strategic management processes in place in almost all businesses already produce vital strategic information related to continuous analysis and monitoring of environmental issues including those relevant to SCM.

Abstract

This research study aims at explaining the way in which supply chain performance can be improved by agile supply chain strategy. The phenomenon has been studied from theoretical perspective. A key aspect is the complementary association between supply chain practices and supply chain strategy. It has been suggested that agile supply chain strategy can be supported by specific supply chain practices through a positive relation between supply chain performance and agile supply chain strategy. The second aspect is the firm’s information processing. Through this aspect, it can be examined whether the agile capability of information system improves the influence of supply chain practices as a mediator. The study has used the survey-based methodology to achieve the objective of the current study. The data is collected from the manufacturing firms in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The benefits of supply chain practices have been enhanced through IS capability by the creation of match between the abilities and needs of information processing. The influence of supply chain practices as a mediator between the relation of supply chain performance and agile supply chain is improved with ‘information system capability for agility. The relation between supply chain performance and agile supply chain strategy is positively mediated when the firm can deliver a range of products quickly. In order to deliver the required number of products, it is important to forecast the demand in an accurate way.

Abstract

Many organisations are beginning to consider the merits of moving to a tax-efficient supply chain and procurement model, both through information management and also centralizing purchasing and supply operations in a tax-efficient location. Tax-efficient sourcing integrates supply chain and procurement-operating model design with tax planning to deliver significant cost reductions and profit increases through centrally controlling procurement operations. This research is intended to examine information management and technologies in tax support as basic source for developing the revenues, also its effect on total revenues in Iraq from 2014 till 2018.  The analysis of  tax  support  literature  suggest  that we have various  kinds  of  tax  support,  classifications and effects of tax support, social and economic significance and  response to tax support which needs analysis. The empirical analysis has been done with the data of total public revenues of Iraq starting from 2014 to 2018. For analysis techniques the descriptive statistics are employed. From previous studies it has been discovered that significance of total revenues are associated with basic tax support which is the ground for National budget. Likewise, rate of growth and the tax revenues for the time before 2014, in that we can see change in Iraqi regime, also its openness towards world. It draws it from an economy of socialist nature to an economy based on market based on the supply chain. Similarly the effect of supply chain on tax support on direct tax income and also on withholding tax, also the effect of information management tax Revenues on Total Country Revenues.
