Abstract

This study aims to propose a framework for integrating information sharing (IS) into lean supply chain (LSC) to improving supply chain performance (SCP). This paper reviewed the studies published in the supply chain and going deep in LSC and its impact on SCP and disclosure of other relevant factors that play a significant role in enhancing the relationship such as IS. Also, it developed a conceptual framework to explain the moderating role of IS. This paper confirmed from previous studies that the results of the relationship between LSC and SCP are inconclusive. In other words, several empirical studies demonstrated there is a significant and positive relationship between LSC and SCP. In contrast, other studies found there is no significant relationship. Hence, the inconsistency in the results of previous studies leads to the need for moderating variable to enhance the relationship between LSC and SCP. Thus, the results of the study indicate a crucial moderating role for IS. This paper focuses on bridging the gap of IS as a moderator between LSC and SCP, as well as determining the common objective of LSC and IS which is improving SCP.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to examine the effect of security, quality of service, operations and information management and trustworthiness on E-loyalty customer moderated by customer satisfaction for online shop website. The sample was taken using random sampling technique as many as 1300 respondents. The data was tabulated and processed using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study showed that security, information management, reliability and trustworthiness has positive and direct impact on customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, service quality has negative and indirect impact on customer satisfaction. This study also showed that customer satisfaction has positive and direct impact to E-loyalty customer for online shopping website.

Abstract

This system is proposed to develop a web-based inventory information system for Network Solution & Support (NSS) department of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Perak. The purpose of this study is to replace the conventional method which is the manual file system for managing inventory to online system where it can help to save the time especially in the process of updating the new inventory information. Besides that, the conventional method also contains the risk of duplicated files and leads to data redundancy and cost the memory wastage. NSS Inventory Information System is an alternative way to replace the manual file system so that multiple users can access the same data simultaneously at different stations. In addition, NSS Inventory Information System is based on Rapid Application Development (RAD) as the methodology where it involves the process of Requirement Planning, User Design, Construction and Cutover. Furthermore, it is developed by using Java programming language based on Vaadin Framework and MySQL as a database. Based on the testing and usability study, the result is very satisfying based on the staffs from NSS department and the contribution is able to help NSS department from TNB to update the inventory list by replacing the manual file system to a proper information system.

Abstract

The article analyzes the state of international and domestic competitiveness of US companies in the field of information and communication technologies, focuses on key segments of the US national competitiveness in ICT based on the supply chain management (SCM); the issues of confrontation with the companies of China and Japan in this field are considered; the issues related to the support of the national competitiveness of the USA by the government on the federal and local levels to enhance the national competitiveness of the United States as a sphere that is also related to ensuring national security of the country in the current conditions of forming a polycentric configuration of the world community are analyzed.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of using enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology and knowledge management on the quality of accounting information systems. The study was conducted on 30 state-owned enterprises in Gorontalo province where the respondents were managers, and financial heads / supervisors, using survey methods. Data testing uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Part Least Square (PLS) analysis approach.The results of the study prove that the use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology affects the quality of accounting information systems, and knowledge management influences the quality of accounting information systems. Enterprise Resource Planning technology has been integrated in all lines in state-owned enterprises, as well as knowledge management has been implemented well in all organizational lines.Keywords: Enterprise resource planning technology, Knowledge management, quality of accounting information systems.

Abstract

Abstract- The prime objective of the present study is to explore the impact of diversity management, information sharing and Training and career development on sustainability of the organization. moreover, mediation role of Supply chain management strategy is examined as well. It is very important for the organizations to develop competitive advantage. For this reason, The questionnaire were distributed among the employees of banks of Indonesia. The response rate of the current study is 53.45 percent. This study chose the Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) for analyzing the collected data. All of the proposed relationships were found significant. Present study is important for the policy makers of banking sector to focus on their human resource to gain competitive advantage and sustainability.

Abstract

An accounting information system can be considered as an element of the company that provides users with processing financial events for decision making. A set of processes and techniques that organizes information and uses it in decision making. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the technical and legislative factors on the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting information systems and supply chain management. After reviewing the seven key factors of efficiency and effectiveness, the results showed that the factors of separation of activities from accounting, disclosure rate, and cost effectiveness, internal and external audit have the most impact on the efficiency and efficiency of accounting information systems.

Abstract

Chinaâ??s One Belt One Road (OBOR) initiative has also connected Thailand with many other markets to support its manufacturing industry. Yet, due to such long-range trade relationships, information sharing is becoming a key figure for success. Such information sharing from manufacturer to customer reduces the uncertainties and can improve production process too. In this study, author has seen the impact of manufacturer to supplier information sharing and manufacturer to buyer information sharing on supply chain performance of such firms which are located in OBOR plans. Moreover, mediating role of dynamic manufacturing capability has also been tested in relationship between information sharing dimensions and supply chain performance. Data has been collected from those manufacturing firms of Thailand who are either doing or willing to do trade through OBOR initiative through survey questionnaire. Responses were then analyzed on SPSS and AMOS to get the empirical results. Findings have revealed that information sharing dimensions have significant impact on supply chain performance and dynamic manufacturing capability is playing a significant positive mediating role in the respective relationships. This study is novel due to the mediating role of dynamic capabilities which were not taken in prior literature and also has its very own implications for academia and practice.

Abstract

Abstract—This paper examines the weak-form of market efficiency for six emerging Asian markets by using daily, weekly and monthly indices data based on the information management. The returns are not normally distributed, because they are negatively skewed and leptokurtic, and also found conditional heteroscedasticity. Findings suggest that none of the sample markets follow Random-walk and hence all are weak-form efficient markets except South Korean Markets. Additionally, short-term variants of the technical trading rules have better predictive ability than long-term variants. The results also reveal that these markets do not follow the same trend; the prices predictability is not analogous in all the sample markets.

Abstract

One of the countries that have a common and long-running TIC network is Canada. The experience of this large northern country in the formation of regional information visit-service systems is of interest to Russia, since the countries in their characteristics are similar in size, distances, and natural conditions based on the supply chain strategy. Consider the TIC systems in the four Atlantic Canadian provinces. Tourist Information Centres are a new branch of services and a significant component of tourism management in many countries. In Russia, tourist information centres (TIC) are organized mainly in the largest cities of the regions and at the main sites visited. The experience of countries that are close in terms of geographic conditions and advanced in relation to the tourist infrastructure is important for the Russian regions. The study of the territorial organization of the Visitor Centres in the Atlantic Canada allows us to determine some geographical patterns. They will be taken into account when developing the system of tourist information centres in the Permsky Krai, one of the internal regions of Russia, which begin to form a high-level tourist infrastructure.
