Abstract

Semarang City Public Works Department is a state-owned enterprise that works in the area of public services in the city of Semarang. Most of the technological conditions in the Public Works Department are still in manual data management, which is hampering business processes from going well. Therefore this research was conducted to design an Information System at the Semarang City Public Works Department using the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method which includes a SWOT analysis and Value Chain analysis. The existing framework in the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method can help align the data architecture and application architecture to get the expected results, which is achieving the business objectives of the City of Semarang Public Works Department so that business functions can run by the desired business processes. This research resulted in several proposals for the development of Information Systems and Information Technology in organizations including the development of several applications in the next 5 years.

Abstract

Information on population data is quite important information for stakeholders. Information on population data is often used in various ways such as aiding, or government activities related to population data. The information that is often needed is related to the actual existence of the population in order to conduct a census or other social interests. For this reason, in this study the development of a population mapping information system in Tugumulyo sub-district was made as an effort to provide information to the public regarding population data. In the process of developing information systems, web engineering development methods are used. Web engineering method is a method used to develop a web-based information system. The results of the development in the form of a population distribution information system with the main features of population data information are presented in the form of tables, graphics and maps. In addition, the information displayed can be seen based on the sub-district and also the village or village in the sub-district

Abstract

ABSTRACT PT. Sintech Berkah Abadi is one of the providers of software solutions in the global market, providing business-based and high-tech solutions for customers throughout Indonesia. At present in terms of archiving data that is accessed is still using a manual system and not yet computerized, the process of searching for archives is quite time consuming and making reports still uses Microsoft Excel. This study aims to design a web-based archival classification information system to make it easier to manage file management properly. In this study using data collection methods namely observation, interviews and literature study. In the system analysis method used is the SWOT analysis, the design method used is Extreme Programming (XP). The results of the system design by using a web-based system can facilitate users in inputting data, storing data, searching for data, and making more accurate archive reports, so that archiving can run effectively and efficiently. Abstract

ABSTRACT Basically, companies always want to provide the best service, including in providing training in various types of programming languages ??that are owned. A manual system and very slow dissemination of information make the training often very few people want to follow. A computerized training management information system will make it easier for companies to collect data quickly, and also make it easy for prospective applicants to quickly get information about existing training. The management has the duty to manage all matters related to the training, from managing the data of the trainees to the organization of the training. The method used is Extreme Programming (XP) an approach or software development model that tries to simplify the various stages in the development process so that it becomes more adaptive and flexible. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of information technology on the cooperative insurance industry, Shiekan Insurance and Reinsurance Company – Sudan as a case study. The study has achieved in the hypothesis that there is a strong positive relationship between the application of information technology system and the development of management and performance of Shiekan Insurance Company. The study found that the majority of dealers in the Sudanese insurance market have weak in dealing with technology. The study concluded that there a clear impact of information technology and achieving a competitive advantage of Shiekan Insurance company. The study recommends the need to move to the use of technology in the insurance sector in Sudan, especially in the Shiekan Insurance Company because it will have a clear impact on the speed of completion of transactions and claims and save costs. Abstract

Abstract This study investigates the effect on leadership, Professionalism Apparatus, and availability of Information Technology and Budgeting fairly on Directorate General of Small and Medium Enterprises of the Ministry of Industry in accordance with the need to improve the effectiveness of program development and growth of SMEs. To determine whether these independent variables influencing dependent variables Program Effectiveness either partially or simultaneously. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and literature study, data collected were tabulated and analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) devices and computer aids. The data analysis focused on the validity, reliability, normality test, multicollinearity, double correlation F test and t test. The Result of research showed that 69% Leadership influences the apparatus professionalism and 75.20% there are significant Information Technology 17.70%, and there are significant budgeting to Program effectiveness of 8.20%. The results of this study are expected to provide an indication that respondents tend to think positively to the statement which is designed in the form of a questionnaire, it shows the programs that are presented for the development and growth of Small and medium enterprise effectively. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of confidence (trust) and Quality Information and Decision on Interest Buy Pebelian (Studies in Samarinda Shopee customers). Online shopping How to use the Internet through computers and mobile devices is increasingly popular smartphone can even be said to have become the trend of today. The population in this study is the customer who Shopee samarinda use application Shopee in transacting online, The samples in this study as many as 150 respondents. Methods Data collection is done by providing a list of questions or questionnaires to respondents that the study sample, where questionnaires were distributed through WhatApp application. This study uses data analysis tools is to test the validity and reliability test, then this research analysis method of partial least square (PLS). Abstract

Information systems (IS) audit contains a proper review of risks associated along with the organization of information systems and processes. Also, an assessment of whether enough quality control will ensure the efficiency, effectiveness, integrity, and security of organization data and assets of the information system. An IS / IT audit is a coordinated process that specializes in high-risk areas in the organization. Selection of the areas can arise with the board of directors, the board of directors, audit committee, government agencies, or external audit organizations. Generally, it audits help organizations monitoring and evaluation of how the business is work and give protection to the interests of managers, workers, customers, and investors. Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) is a detailed resource that consists of all the information organizations have to be compelled to adopt its governance and control framework. COBIT delivers good practices across all domains and process frameworks in an easily manageable and rational structure to assist in optimizing investments that support it. COBIT optimizes investments that support IT and ensure that IT successfully meets business requirements. In this paper, we find that paper about IT/IS audit using COBIT is had a different perspective. Base on the review from twenty papers, there is 85% with a title IT/IS Audit, but the content is about Maturity or Capability Level. The discussion paper is expected to provide new knowledge to other researchers who focused his research on the area of information systems audit. This paper is expected to provide new enlightenment that information system audit is different from the maturity/ capability level, which is also examined in the COBIT 4.1 framework.

Abstract

Based on data, Indonesia ranks second in the list of the highest number of deaths due to natural disasters in the Asia-Pacific. Over the past 20 years, various natural disasters in this country have also caused economic losses of at least US$ 22.5 billion. This data means that disasters in various sizes and scales can occur and affect business. Disaster threats can occur in various forms, such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods. The threat of disasters will certainly disrupt and can have a fatal impact on the sustainability of business supported by information technology, the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KPPPA) as a case study has an interest in this matter. One of the infrastructures that become an essential asset as the performance support capacity of the KPPPA is an information system and technology. System tools and Information technology are business process support tools at the KPPPA so that businesses have sustainability and can run well. Disasters that occur will undoubtedly have a fundamental impact that can damage the system and technology in the organization so that it will positively affect the course of business processes. For this reason, integrated planning is needed to handle the disaster so that business processes can continue to run as they should. One of the integrated plans is designing an Information Technology and Communication Disaster Recovery Plan (IT-DRP). This study discusses the NIST framework implementation as one of the IT-DRP models which have been applied in KPPPA.
