Abstract

The research discussed hoax information as an effect of disruptive innovation and how to solve it in society. It applied a qualitative descriptive method with a case study focusing on hoax information of 10 million Chinese workers who came to Indonesia. The research was a library research conducted through various sources of literature and journals. Data analysis was carried out by answering the points that were analyzed and cross-checked to other data sources in order to answer the research questions. It is found that living in the millennial changes rapidly; various forms of innovation are born and developed very quickly, and so do the problems and challenges. To prevent the spread of hoax information, some efforts need to be done to understand the process, ethics implementation, law enforcement, and accountability of information.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah ingin memberikan Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup Melalui Media Kontekstual Berbantuan ICT bagi Anak Didik dan orang tua di Rumah Baca Muzakir Gng. H. Hasan Kelurahan Bangka Belitung Laut Kota Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah survei lapangan dan Tinakan. Survey lapangan dilakukan dengan mendatangi lokasi, berkoordinasi dengan Ketua RW dan Pengelola Rumah Baca Muzakir. Tindakan yang dilakukan adalah pengadaan Alat, Bahan, dan Materi Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup melalui Media Kontekstual berbantuan ICT di Rumah Baca Masyarakat Gang H. Hasan kota Pontianak dapat dilihat bahwa pelaksanaan telah sesuai dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Tercapainya tujuan PKM ini terlihat dari dokumentasi berupa surat tugas yang disahkan oleh pejabat setempat, berita acara dan absen kehadiran, serta fhoto-fhoto kegiatan berlangsung yang menunjukan antusias ibu dan anak serta warga di lingkungan Rumah Baca Muzakir Gang H. Hasan Kota Pontianak.

Abstract

Identifying learning of the information in explanatory text requires creativity in its implementation. One of the things that affect identifying learning of the information in explanatory text is the students’ reading intensity. Therefore, it takes the most effective learning method to be applied and the learning method chosen is the SQ3R method. The purpose of this study was to explain the effectiveness of identifying learning of information in explanatory text by using the SQ3R method based on the reading intensity of the XI grade students at Madrasah Aliyah. The method used in this study was an experimental research design with a quasi-experimental factorial. The sample of this research is students of class IX MAN 2 Kudus. The collection of data uses identifying learning of the explanatory text information and reading intensity test to determine high or low reading intensity. Non-test data collection uses observation and photo documentation. The results of this study were (1) The SQ3R learning method was effective in identifying information in explanatory text for class XI students of Madrasah Aliyah with an increase of 12.23, from an average of 66.51 to 78.74. This is evidenced by the sign value=0.000<0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of the experimental group pre-test post-test which is used the SQ3R learning method. Meanwhile, the ability to identify information in explanatory text to students with low reading intensity treated with the SQ3R method, and an average value is 67. Identifying Learning of the information in explanatory text based on reading intensity of the XI grade students at Madrasah Aliyah by using the SQ3R is an effective learning method. The result of this learning has increased by 12.23, from an average of 66.51 to 78.74. This is evidenced by the sign value=0.000<0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of the experimental group pretest posttest using the SQ3R learning method

Abstract

The students’ writing skills need to be considered by the teacher because writing skills are complex skills that can support students' academic achievements. The blended learning model with Chamilo media has been used in learning activities to write short stories in the Covid-19 outbreak. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning to write short stories in the Covid-19 outbreak by using a blended learning model with Chamilo media based on type of information acquisition type in vocational school students. The research design used is quasi-experimental with a population is XI grade students of SMK in 2020/2021 academic year. The data collection techniques use test and non-test techniques. The test technique has been carried out by measuring the skills of students in writing short stories, while non-test techniques has been carried out by using questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data are analyzed using the T-test and analysis of variance (Anova). The results of the study proved that the use of the blended learning model with Chamilo media is effective in learning to write short stories in the Covid-19 outbreak based on the information acquisition type in vocational students. The research benefits provide theoretical and practical advantages. Theoretically, this research can enrich the theory of learning to write short stories in the Covid-19 outbreak by using a combination of blended learning models with Chamilo media. The importance of this research for educators is to increase a sense of responsibility for the quality of education in the era of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Abstract

aan yang menipu maupun secara teknis untuk mencuri data identitas pribadi konsumen dan kredensial akun keuangan. Phishing dirancang untuk mengarahkan konsumen ke website phishing yang menipu penerima untuk membocorkan data keuangan seperti nama pengguna dan kata sandi. Dalam dataset phishing, terdapat fitur-fitur yang bisa mengkategorikan apakah sebuah website adalah website phishing atau bukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan hasil seleksi fitur-fitur yang ada dengan menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode gabungan Maximal Information coefficient dan Total Information Coefficient dengan metode korelasi Spearman. Hasil seleksi diuji dengan lima algoritma machine learning yaitu, Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes, J48, AdaBoost MI dan Random Forest. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah metode gabungan Maximal Information coefficent dan Total Information Coefficient memiliki nilai akurasi 97.25 % dengan menggunakan Random Forest mengungguli metode korelasi Spearman dengan nilai akurasi 95,33%.

Abstract

Disclosure about tax evasion may trigger the contagion of such behavior. However, exposure to news about discovered misconduct can lead to deterrence as well. The economics-of-crime approach and social norm-based explanation suggest that exposure to news about evasion may influence the receiver of information to imitate such misconduct. In contrast, a Psychology-based explanation argues against contagion in taxpayers' misbehavior. This study aims to investigate the effect of disclosing evasion information by another taxpayer toward tax non-compliance and testing of the effectiveness of audit information dissemination to mitigate the contagion effect of such non-compliance that may be occurred. The research was conducted by an experimental approach with a 2 x 2 between-subjects design. The results show that when information about tax evasion is publicly disclosed, unaudited taxpayers tend to imitate such misbehavior. However, the contagion effect of non-compliance can be mitigated by the official announcement of tax audit information.

Abstract

Conflagration is an unpredictable tragedy. It may occur whether in the woodland areas or in the residential areas. Typically, it would only be recognized if indeed the flames spread and the smoke intensified. This study aims to detect fires using the MQ-2 smoke sensor, DS18b20 temperature sensor, and fire sensor. Using Arduino Uno as the controller, this system’s output is in the form of an alarm buzzer, Short Message Service (SMS) information using SIM800L, and an automatic fire pump. This system operates to detect the temperature shifts, the smoke concentration and the existence of a fire point which triggers an alarm in the form of a siren if two out of the three sensors are activated. It, then, sends information by Short Message Service (SMS) and automatically triggers the pump as the result. The fire sensor can detect hotspots with a maximum distance of 80 cm and the DS18b20 temperature sensor has an average reading error of 0.27 ° C with a maximum reading error of 0.5 ° C. The MQ-2 smoke sensor can detect smoke where the change in smoke concentration is directly proportional to the sensor output voltage. There are three conditions to determine fire conditions, namely the temperature sensor reads more than equal to 55 ° C and the fire sensor is active, or the temperature sensor reads more than equal to 55 ° C and the smoke sensor reads more than equal to 1000 ppm, or the fire sensor is active and smoke sensor reads greater than equal to 1000 ppm.

Abstract

This study aims to examines the mediating role of learning from home and the availability of information technology on the relationship between e-learning and accounting students’ understanding during the COVID 19 Pandemic. The sample of this study consist of 413 respondents from 14 universities in Indonesia. The result of the study indicate that during the COVID 19 Pandemic, learning from home and availability of information technology were able to mediate the relationship between e-learning and accounting students’ understanding in Indonesia. This study contributes in expanding the technology acceptance model theory in the context of COVID 19, and adding to the topics and theoretical approaches recommended by forum in the fields of accounting and education. It is also evaluating universities performance in implementing e-learning during COVID 19 Pandemic.

Abstract

The Information Technology (IT) blueprint basically contains a strategic plan of the company / institution in implementing and developing information technology / information systems in the company / institution. This study aims to design the IT Blueprint model in terms of data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture using the Zachman Framework enterprise architecture, where the blueprint is a comprehensive and integrated information technology system design. The methodology used in this study refers to the framework of Enterprise Architecture Planning. The results of this study obtained data architecture design, applications and technology along with data entities, business entities and business processes and business process functions so that they can illustrate the IT blueprint model along with the implementation roadmap that serves as a reference and guideline campus of Politeknik Negeri Bali (PNB).

Abstract

The development of sports technology is increasingly sophisticated and modern in improving the quality of sports. Folk games or traditional sports are cultural assets that need to be preserved, because they have the potential to be further developed as sports that help improve physical quality for the players. The results of the validation of the first stage I referee experts were 62%, stage II 96%, stage I referee experts 66%, stage II 96% and IT experts I stage I 64%, stage II 94%, IT experts II stage I 60%, stage II 94%. The results of the small-scale questionnaire of the coaches were 66% in good category, 50% for enough category and 65% for scorer in good category. The results of the large-scale questionnaire of coaches were 95% very good category, 89% very good category players and 93% very good scorer categories. The conclusions of this study: (1) The product design development of application score sheet traditional sports of Hadang is the application of the traditional sports score sheet based on information technology. (2) The effectiveness of the product development of application score sheet traditional sports of Hadang, it can be said that it is effective as a score sheet application that helps the scorer in entering points, recording and saving match data. (3) The acceptance of the development of the application score sheet of traditional sport hadang based on information technology is said to be "Accepted" from the results of large-scale questionnaires with a percentage of 92.56%.
