Abstract

Technological advances at this time are developing very fast, information systems became the frontline in technological advancements, the need for information systems to support jobs is increasingly high. However, its implementation for users does not have a significant impact, so that it needs to be reviewed and re-evaluated in the use of the information system built. The naive bayes classifier method can provide "effective" and "ineffective" conclusions and is used as material for evaluation and improvement. The purpose of this study is to contribute to measuring the effectiveness of the information system, to solve problems with the naïve bayes classifier method approach which has advantages in the process of classifying data and predicting data. From the test results three times, training has been conducted using 100 data, accuracy value of 84.82% and error 15.18%.

Abstract

The healthy Indonesia program with a family approach (PIS-PK) has not been implemented optimally. There are several obstacles and challenges in this program’s implementation, e.g., human resources. A community-based health information system (CBHIS) is a strategic approach to obtain data and information at the population level by directly involving cadres and the community. A project with the CBHIS approach was implemented in Kasemen Village, Serang, Banten Province, Indonesia to support the PIS-PK program. The study aimed to determine the population’s health status according to the healthy family index through the CBHIS approach. The data of healthy family indicators in the village were collected by cadres using a mHealth application. Overall, 1316 households consisting of 5312 residents were registered. The analysis results of the healthy family index showed that most families in the Kasemen subdistrict were pre-healthy (64.2%), almost one third were unhealthy (27.8%) and only a small proportion were healthy (8%). Assessing the healthy family index through the CBHIS approach can support decision-making at the community level, thereby determining the magnitude of family health problems and providing appropriate interventions to improve community health status. Well-trained cadres equipped with better electronic data collection tools may be an alternative to community-based data collection.

Abstract

Layanan Informasi Desa/Rural Information Service (LISA) is an information service for farmers based on SMS. It is used to disseminate agricultural information and provide a space for agricultural tips, ask questions and have a discussion. This study was conducted to determine the response and the perceived benefits of these services for farmer households. The study was conducted in Karawang, where LISA was launched. The results showed that the frequency of LISA’S use varied greatly from once per week to 30 times per week, but no farmer household used Android-based applications. The frequency of use of these services is significantly related to satisfaction level and is associated with the level of knowledge of farmer households. On the other hand, the frequency of use of LISA is unrelated to the characteristics of farmer households, which include age, education, sex, land ownership, as well as participation in farmer groups, and cosmopolitanism. A higher level of knowledge is also related to the suitability of the tips given by LISA and the degree of satisfaction with the LISA.

Abstract

This study examines the value relevance of accounting information. This study investigates whether accounting information has impact on the share prices. In addition, it examines whether earnings management moderates the value relevance of accounting information to the market. Accounting information in this study consists of earnings, book value of equity, and cash flows, and the earnings management is proxied by discretionary accruals measured using the performance-adjusted modified Jones model. Using time series analysis, there are 98 samples of listed manufacturing corporations used in this study during 2014 which is the period of this study. The results show that earnings, book value of equity, and cash flows simultaneously affect the share prices, meaning that accounting information is value relevant to the market, although there is evidence that partially, only cash flows have impact on share prices. This study also found that the presence of earnings management weakens the value relevance of earnings. To some extent, the results indicate that earnings management eliminates the value relevance of earnings and cash flows.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of accounting information and psychological factors on investor decision to invest in the capital market. The data come from questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement tool. The object was the investors of PT MNC Sekuritas Manado who were respondents as many as 119 investors. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS Version 25. The results find that partially and simultaneous the accounting information and psychological factor had a positive and significant effect on investor decision. This shows that the increasing accounting information and psychological factors available will increasingly influence the decision making of investors. But from the partial t-test results, it was found that the accounting information had more influence than the psychological factor, it means that investors tend to be rational in making their investment decisions by using accounting information as consideration for their decision making. This study provides empirical evidence regarding the influence of accounting information and psychological factors on investors' decisions to invest in the capital market and give contributions to academics and researchers by supporting the theory and results of previous research on the same topic.
