This research employed Information Gap in experimental group as the source of ideas to make the students communicate. While in the control group were taught using Rote Learning. The instrument used in the study was oral test. The data were analyzed quantitative using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The result showed, There is a significant effect of using Information Gap on students’ speaking skill, as tcount = 2.666 and sig = 0.010 < 0.05 and the mean score of post-test in experimental was higher (74.00) than control group (69.23). It can be concluded there is any effect of using Information Gap Technique on speaking skill at SMK Negeri 4 Tanjungpinang.

The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the effect of students' perceptions of career information services on career decision making self-efficacy. It involved 108 SMK students selected by quota random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 24. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between students' perceptions of career information services on career decision making self-efficacy by 16% (β = 0.40, p < 0.01). The quality of good career information services will affect the self-efficacy of good career decision making.

This research is discussing the Android-based SIMADU application. Method used is a descriptive survey, carried out in Posyandu Flamboyan, Mawar, Cempaka, and Kenanga, all addressed in Kukusan Beji Depok West Java. Data collection techniques are observation and questionnaire distribution. The sample is 25 cadres from Posyandus in Kukusan Beji. The results is 78.1% of Posyandu cadres advocate the use of the SIMADU application. 68.8% of Posyandu cadres entail an engineer who can assist them to use the SIMADU application. The SIMADU application features are attested to be effective to elevate Posyandu cadres’ confidence by 71.9%. The conclusion, use of technology and information in Posyandu may breed a significant change in health service delivery. The SIMADU application can help Posyandu cadres in Posyandu activities, e.g., recording and documenting the data of families, pregnant women, babies, toddlers, and fertile couples. Abstract

This study purposes in determining the effectiveness of students writing ability on descriptive text being taught using the Chain Writing Method for the B class of Informatics Engineering Study Program Balitar Islamic University 2020/2021 academic year. This research is an experimental research, which uses the chain writing method to find out its effectiveness from student learning outcomes. The population of this study were first semester students of Informatics Engineering Study program which consisted of 21 students as a sample. The researchers applied one group pretest posttest. The sampling technique is random sampling. The method used is a quasi-experimental design. The pretest result done by Informatics Engineering students shown the average was 44.19%. The pre-test was conducted by researcher in March 2020. Then it can be concluded that their Writing Descriptive text ability are not good enough. The results of data analysis, known that the chain writing method is more effectively used in learning to write descriptive text for B class of Informatics Engineering students. It has significance difference in mean of determining by précising statistics of dependent T-test. From the calculating result of the t-test found that the t-value obtained was 5,959, while the required critical t-value at p> .05, the level of significance of the two tailed test is 2.086 (df = 20), p> .01 the two tailed significant level of test was 2.845 (df = 20). The data results of this research indicates that there is a significance difference in pretest and posttest score result. This proves that the chain writing method is effective method in learning the descriptive texts for the informatics engineering class in the 2020/2021 academic year.
