Abstract

Flood disasters cause negative impacts, such as damage to facilities to the onset of fatalities. Reducing the risk of flooding needs to be done to reduce the impact caused by this disaster. Lamongan Regency is one of the regencies in East Java affected by floods every year in most of its areas. This study aims to reduce the risk caused by flooding by using GIS (Geographic Information System). Mitigation is done by determining areas with a high potential risk of being affected by flooding. The study used spatial analysis functions in ArcGIS. Supporting variables used rainfall, land cover, slope, soil texture, and watershed area, and it becomes important in determining flood-prone areas. From the results, the largest soil classification is the Kpl soil type. Litosol Gray Grumosol, The wide distribution of rainfall from 1500-1750 mm has the widest distribution is 66,67 ha. The slope of 0-8% has the widest distribution of 92,257 ha, making Lamongan a very vulnerable high flood area. Laren District is the District with the greatest flood potential, and Irrigated Field is the dominant land cover type affected by the flood. With the flood disaster map generated from this research, local governments can seek prevention in areas with high flood potential. They can carry out socialization based on disaster mitigation, especially for districts with potential flooding.

Leprosy is a chronic granulomatous infectious disease caused by the obligate intracellular organism Mycobacterium leprae. It affects mainly the skin and peripheral nerves. Moreover, it can cause severe physical disabilities and abnormalities. Jember Regency has not reached the Leprosy Elimination status until 2019 because the prevalence rate was still above 1 per 10,000 population. Based on data from the District Health Office of Jember, the findings of leprosy cases in Jember Regency fluctuate every year. The research objective in developing a web-based Geographic Information System was to display information on visualization of leprosy cases; therefore, it could become the basis for policy considerations for leprosy prevention efforts in Jember Regency. The research method was a Rapid Application Development (RAD) system. The research data and information were collected through interviews and document review. This system was designed for helping users have more accessible access to input data and automation of processing into information for users and visitors. Epidemiological interpretation of leprosy on a visual map could determine the magnitude of the case problem and Primary Health Care’s reach in leprosy prevention. Keywords: geographic information system (GIS); elimination; leprosy

Abstract

The progress of construction industry in Indonesia has experienced very rapid development in the infrastructure sector, as proven by the many infrastructure developments in recent years. Quantity take-off is one of the contractor's efforts by calculating volume which will later be used as material for preparing bill of quantity in tenders and later also used as material for procurement. This is because contractors who can accurately carry out quantity take-offs will get several benefits, such as efficiency of incoming materials because they are in accordance with actual conditions. Autodesk civil 3D is a tool or application based on Building Information Modeling (BIM) which is capable to do quantity take-off. In this study, it will be discussed how the advantages and disadvantages of auto-desk civil 3D in carrying out quantity take-off on the volume of the stockpile compared to the method that has been used so far, namely calculating the volume using images from Autocad and with the assistance of Microsoft excel. The results of calculations using BIM in this study showed an increase in volume by 0.027%, a decrease in time by 80%, and an increase in costs by 37% when compared to conventional calculations. Keywords : BIM, Quantity Take-off, Autodesk Civil 3D
