The results of the discussion obtained that the t-count value of the Training variable (X1) is 8.811 when compared to the t-table value of 1.659. Then the t-count obtained is greater than the t-table value or 8.811 > 1.659. The calculated t value for the Information Technology Use (X2) variable is -1,339 when compared to the t table value of 1,659. Then the calculated t obtained is smaller than the t table value or -1.339 < 1.659. The calculated t value for the Work Environment (X3) variable is 2,177 when compared to the t table value of 1,659. Then the t-count obtained is greater than the t-table value or 2.177 > 1.659. The results of hypothesis testing the calculated f value is 843,927 with a sig level of 0.000, therefore the sig value is 0.000 > 0.05 and the calculated F value is 843.927 > F table 2.69. The value of R square (R2) or the square of R shows the coefficient of determination is 0.961, meaning that the percentage of training (X1), the use of information technology (X2) and the work environment (X3) on employee performance is 96.1% while the remaining 3.9% is influenced by other variables which were not investigated by this study.

Abstract

E-commerce developers add anthropomorphized chatbot features to their websites and application to assist customers in choosing the right product. The developers usually equipped them with many designs and elements, including the anthropomorphism element. Anthropomorphism attempts to immerse a non-human object with human aspects to give an impression of an actual human. However, using a chatbot does not always bring favorable outcomes. People might be afraid to interact with it since it resembles humans. This study aims to examine the weaknesses of an anthropomorphized chatbot further. After interacting with a chatbot, people’s responses, such as their privacy concern, attitude toward advertisements from the chatbot, and their intention to disclose personal information, were investigated in this study. A Questionnaire was developed to collect the data in this study. The respondents were recruited from Amazon MTurk. 222 responses were collected for this study. All hypotheses were analyzed using SPSS and SmartPLS statistical tools. The result showed that anthropomorphism elements in chatbots positively affect people’s privacy concerns. Privacy concern negatively affects people’s attitude toward advertisement from chatbots and their intention to disclose personal information.

Abstract

This study evaluated the effectiveness of the Follow-up Monitoring Information System (SIPTL) of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) based on the HOT Fit Model. Evaluation is focused on external SIPTL or from the auditee side. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach and the object of the research is the Inspectorate of Majene Regency, West Sulawesi. Evaluation is carried out on human aspects  (system use and user satisfaction), organization (organizational structure), and technology (quality of systems, information, and services). In the human aspect  or Human Resources (HR) management, it shows the suitability of the field of experience, knowledge, and competence. In the organizational aspect, controlling access rights is very good in the form of passwords on each admin and SIPTL inputer. In the technological aspect, the speed of access between pages and the addition of features to the SIPTL application are very easy. Thus, in general, the application of external SIPTL to the Majene District Inspectorate has been effective based on the HOT Fit Model. The disadvantages of SIPTL today are the absence of regular training of users, communication with users that has not run optimally, the absence of  regular password  changes, and the absence of  regular application updates. Further research is recommended to evaluate internal SIPTL, namely from the side of the BPK RI as a user and the addition of research objects as a comparison analysis.
