Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerjakaryawan pada PT PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA IV (Persero) Kantor Pusat Medan.Berdasarkan tingkat penjelasannya penelitian ini digolongkan kepada penelitian assosiatif denganpengukuran kuantitatif berdasarkan pendekatan ilmu Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia.Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruhkaryawan golongan III dan IV yang bertugas di PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) KantorPusat Medan yang berjumlah 159 orang. Sampel penelitian ditetapkan 123 orang setelah didikurangi sampel uji validitas yang berjumlah 36 orang. Dengan demikian teknik pengambilansampel penelitian adalah sampel jenuh. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan adalah analisaregresi ganda dan analisa korelasi. Untuk membuktikan hipotesis digunakan uji t dan uji R yangsebelumnya disertai dengan pengujian asumsi klasik. Analisa regresi membuktikan kompetensiberpengaruh positif dan secara langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan. Untuk memprediksi besarnyatingkat kinerja karyawan penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah persamaan regresi yaitu : KinerjaKaryawan = 20,563 + (0,735 x kompetensi). Analisa korelasi menunjukkan kompetensi mempunyaitingkat hubungan yang erat dengan kinerja karyawan yaitu sebesar 0.663 atau 66.3%.

Abstract

A development must start from the human factor, namely education, organization and discipline. Therefore, aspects and problems of education are the most important elements that must be addressed immediately so that national development goals can be better achieved. One area that needs attention in the field of education development is the village of Kotasan located in Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. The majority of the population is educated middle to lower causing most of the population is still living from the agricultural sector. Seeing the existing phenomena and if this condition is allowed to continue then it is feared that the welfare of the community will lead to worse conditions. So with this dedication the team will try to find solutions to educational problems that are more beneficial for the Kotasan village community. This service aims to: 1). Designing teacher working groups in applying scientific learning, 2). Designing the learning process using a scientific learning model based on Islamic character education, 3). Designing learning material that will be applied by teachers in scientific learning based on Islamic character education. The method used in this service is coaching techniques. Expected outputs from this dedication are ISSN journals, mass media and activity videos. In the process of character evaluation in every aspect, in general get a value, namely (1) Honesty as much as 90%, (2) Discipline as much as 80%, and (3) confidence as much as 85%. Then in the process of character evaluation in each aspect of points in particular there are 10 points get a value, namely: (1) honest in action 78%, (2) honest in words 80%, (3) admit mistakes 70%, (4) wake up on time morning 83%, (5) prayer 5 time 90%, (6) diligently praying 84%, (7) attending ceremonies and on time 63%, (8) gathering assignments on time 72%, (9) able to be a leader for example Imam prays 74%, and (10) 80% practice test.

Abstract

In an effort to create a national cultural agenda of "Towards a Superior Indonesia", the concept of human resources development should be reconstructed to lead to the new concept of focusing on the development of spiritual quotient (SQ). The main reason for this is that the concept of SQ is the highest human intelligence that enables IQ and EQ to function effectively. The purpose of this study was to find out the correlation of Surah Ash Shaff: 10-11 enculturation through memorizing and reading it at each commencement of the lecture with the spritual quotient of the student / student at Faculty of Economics, Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah. The type of research used is assosiaitive research with quantitative approach. The study population are students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah/sample and sample size was set 165 people with purposive sampling technique. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire using Likert scale measurement. The data analysis techniques used were validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, correlation test and to test hypothesis using Pearson correlation test and Spearman's correlation test as well as the coefficient of deterioration test (R test). The results of the coefficient of determination (R test) concluded, the contribution of the Surah Ash Shaff: 10-11 enculturation was able to explain the spiritual quotient variable by 65.8% while the other contribution of 34.2% was influenced by the other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of competence and facilities have a positive and significant effect on teacher’s performance at Haji Masri Darul Ilmi Murni Islamic Educational Foundation, Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with several tests, that are the classical assumption test and multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that competence (X1) has a t-count value of 3.263 and a t-table of 1.663 when compared to t-count, the results are 3.263> 1.663, so it can be concluded that competence has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (Y). The facility (X2) has a t-count of 5.595 when compared to the t table, the result is 5.595>1.663, so it can be concluded that the facilities have a positive and significant effect on teacher’s performance (Y). Simultaneously, competence and facilities have a positive and significant influence on teacher’s performance. This means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, proved by the calculated F value > F table (75.790 > 3.11). The results of the coefficient of determination indicate that competence and facilities have an influence on teacher’s performance by 65.2%, while the remaining 34.8% is influenced by other variables which are not examined in this study.

Abstract

The background of research is phenomenon of the concept of education that too exalts intellectual quotient (IQ) rather than spiritual quotient (SQ). As a result, a shift can be seen that alienates people from their nature and more and more cases are complaining about the phenomenon of the world of work. The purpose of this study is to describe the character of spiritual quotient based character education at FE UMN Al-Washliyah and the urgency of developing human resources at a macro level. The research method used is descriptive statistical analysis with a quantitative approach. The population was students of FE UMN Al-Washliyah with a purposive sampling technique and a sample of 165 people. Research instrument using a questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement. Data analysis techniques use statistical descriptions of frequency and mean  and interpreted with four specific criteria. Test results: 1). The implementation of character education at FE UMN Al-Washliyah has a mean value of 3.21 and belongs to the good category. 2). The program to increase the spiritual quotient of students has a mean value of 3.40 and belongs to the very good category. 3). Human Resource Development through the Surah Ash Shaff civilization program: 10-11 at FE UMN Al-Washliyah went very well. This is related to the success of the character education program through spiritual quotient which has also been going well. Thus, this potential must be exploited more effectively so that achieving the vision is more beneficial for the advancement of education and social development

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to form a Joint Business Group (KUBE) for small businesses and included in underprivileged communities in Medan Senembah by providing creativity training as a media for business opportunities and conducting business assistance. The benefits of this activity are expected to foster an entrepreneurial spirit for the poor through the formation of joint business groups, empowering the potential of poor people, especially mothers, in increasing family income through increasing creative economic ventures and increasing local economic income and the region in general.The methods used in this activity are : (1) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for the initial evaluation phase to know the potential of participants in making a product that will be used as a business medium; (2) Lecture method for the KUBE program socialization stage; (3) Demonstration method for the product manufacturing skills training stage

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui budi daya tanaman obat yang dilakukan oleh kelompok tani suka tani. Di Desa Batu Jong-Jong, Dusun Batu Katak Kecamatan Bahorok Kabupaten Langkat Provinsi Sumatera Utara sebagai upaya untuk menarik wisatawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dengan melakukan wawancara pada pihak-pihak terkait dan data sekunder dari buku-buku, artikel, penelitian terdahulu, serta data pendukung lain yang mempunyai topik bahasan yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Perempuan di Batu Katak yang mayoritas Suku Karo sangat dikenal sebagai petani dan pekerja keras, sehingga hasil dari tanaman obat akan dapat membantu menambah penghasilan keluarga. Aspek budidaya dan produksi sudah dirasakan Cukup, karena memang sudah diajarkan secara turun temurun. Berkembangnya Ekowisata Batu Katak merupakan salah satu peluang untuk membuka jaringan komunikasi dan jaringan pemasaran dengan pihak luar. Wisatawan nusantara dan wisatawan mancanegara sudah mulai meminati obat-obatan tradisional. Hal ini bisa berjalan beriringan karena Ekowisata Batu Katak mengandalkan panorama alam dan tradisi yang unik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze how much the influence of mixmarketing service on students' interest in becoming customers at Syari’ah banks. In finding out which variable is the most dominant, this type of research is quantitative research. This research used numerical data and analyzed through statistics. The data collection in this study used a questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed directly to students who were the objects of this research. The population in this study were students of the Economics Faculty, Alwasliyah Medan, totaling 260 people. Based on calculations using the Slovin formula, the sample obtained was 158.The questionnaire given using the Likert scale measurement basic scale. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis (correlation coefficient test, coefficient of determination test), F test and T test with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study through the F test showed that the product, location, promotion, price, service quality variables simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on student interest in becoming customers at Syari’ah Banks. Meanwhile, the t-test results show that the product, promotion and price variables have no partial positive effect. While the variables Location and Service Quality have a positive and significant effect on student interest. The dominating variable, that is service quality, has a positive and significant effect on student interest in becoming customers.
