Abstract

Universitas Bina Darma has many systems and applications used by students, faculty and staff at the University. The number of systems and applications that are used provide an obstacle for users to remember the username and password to log on each of these systems. In addition, the admin should manage all users that exist in each of the distributed system, so that if a user no longer active in an application or in the entire system, then the admin should make changes to the user data in each system. For this study aims to develop a prototype of a secure single sign-on and can be implemented at the University of Bina Darma that integrate elearning systems, blogs and mail servers. With the developed system allows the users only need to log on to one of the three systems.

Abstract

With the decrease in the number of IPv4 available it is necessary to consider IPv6 usage. However, IPv6 itself still has security holes such as security flood hole Router Advertisement false. Router Advertisement flood itself is an IPv6 DoS attack on the local network. This attack floods the local network segment with malicious Router Advertisement to replace the legitimate routing entry on the host interface. The purpose of this research is to study the response of Operating System with Windows platform against IPv6 Router Advertisement attack on the network, and to recommend solution to close the security hole. Attack testing is done with two stages of RA flood packet delivery with single prefix and multi prefix. Keywords: Router Advertisement, IPv6, Sistem Operasi

Abstract

The use of capital letters is one element of the grammar of the Indonesian Spelling General Guidelines (PUEBI). According to the Large Indonesian Language Dictionary (KBBI), capital letters are letters of a special size and shape (larger than ordinary letters), usually used as the first letter of the first word in a sentence, the first letter of the name itself, and so on. The use of capital letters in a paper is required. However, the ability to use letters of public capital still tends to be not so good. The problem is writing that has not followed the Indonesian Spelling General Guidelines (PUEBI) rules. Settlement steps on how to implement an Indonesian Spelling General Guidelines (PUEBI) rule into the software. Therefore, the author will try to make a software that can automatically detect if there are errors in writing according to the rules of general Indonesian spelling guidelines (PUEBI) on documents, journals, bibliography and scientific works

Abstract

At a time when the times are increasing, it cannot be denied that almost some people use social media as a means of communication. Not only is it a means of communication, even social media is a place to show their habits. Without realizing it, the more information that is spread on social media regarding self-information, it will make information that can benefit others. User Behavior Analytics as defined by Gartner is a cybersecurity process of detection of insider threats, targeted attacks and financial fraud. The UBA solution looks at patterns of human behaviour and then applies algorithms and statistical analysis to detect meaningful anomalies of those patterns. Gephi is an open-source network visualization platform that can be used to analyze various cases using graph visualization. One of these analyzes can be done by using data that has been scraped from social media, Facebook, social media, Bina Darma University to get data visualization of the cases being tested. From these results, the graph clustering process is carried out in Gephi to obtain data clusters. The results will then be analyzed and identified so that they can become material for information about social media user behaviour.

Abstract

E-learning is an electronic distance learning system that uses network and computer technology. There are many models of using e-learning, one of which is the use of e-learning at Bina Darma University during the COVID-19 pandemic, where more use of e-learning and online learning systems during the pandemic period, for this reason the quality of e-learning services can be measured using Webqual. Webqual is a method used to measure website quality based on end users. Webqual is structured in research on 3 dimensions, namely Usability, information, and service interaction. This study aims to determine the quality of the e-learning website of Bina Darma University as student learning taken by 101 students and to find out the most influential indicators in the quality of e-learning. If the alpha value is greater than the R table, then the consistency of the R table is declared valid. On the Likert test scale, it is known that the usability dimension or indicator gets the highest usability level, so the usability dimension has a positive effect on user satisfaction.

Abstract

This research is based on the observations and experiences of researchers, that now the internet has become a basic need for an agency, almost all Directorates of Water Resources (SDA) have a computer network. The Directorate of Water Resources (SDA) Central Sumatra River Basin VIII has implemented a network to support the performance of the Directorate of Water Resources (SDA), but still has problems where the network often experiences disconnections due to damage, interference with switches, damage to cables and network connectors. and Hang routers. To meet the internet needs at the Directorate of Water Resources (SDA) Central Sumatra VIII River Basin, stable internet is needed, therefore a failover method is needed. The problem in this research is that there are frequent disturbances in the internet network. The transfer of the main internet line to the backup path is done manually. Given how important the network is to support performance at the Directorate of Water Resources (SDA), the authors suggest to create a failover backup system for Mikrotik routers in the Directorate of Water Resources (SDA). This research uses the Action Research development method, which consists of Diagnostic, Action planning, action taking, evaluating and e-learning. With this application, it is hoped that if there is a problem with the router device, it will not interfere with the use of the existing network. On the internet network of the Directorate of Water Resources (SDA) Central Sumatra River Region VIII.

Abstract

Sistem autentikasi hotspot berbasis radius server membutuhkan user id dan password untuk terkoneksi ke jaringan wireless. Pada Universitas biasanya sudah memiliki sistem akademis sendiri di mana setiap mahasiswa dan dosen memiliki user id dan password masing-masing untuk login ke sistem akademisnya. Masalah timbul ketika dalam pengembangan sistem autentikasi hotspot berbasis radius server perlu beroperasi dengan menggunakan data tersebut. Biasanya Sistem informasi akademis yang dimiliki dan sistem autentikasi memiliki database masing-masing dengan struktur database dan platform struktur pemrograman yang berbeda. Dengan sistem yang tidak tidak terintegrasi tersebut mengakibatkan administrator jaringan harus menginputkan data yang jumlahnya ribuan seperti data user mahasiswa dan dosen pada sistem autentikasi hotspot berbasis radius, selain itu informasi mengenai personal yang sama bisa saja berbeda dengan sistem akademis. Untuk itu pada penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem autentikasi hotspot terpusat di lingkungan Universitas yang memanfaatkan web services untuk mensinkronkan data pengguna hotspot dengan data user pada sistem akademis. Penelitian ini menggunakan sistem autentikasi hotspot berbasis radius server, MySQL, php, dan chillispot, dan script web service menggunakan aplikasi php dan library xml-rpc untuk mensinkronkan data pengguna hotspot dengan data pengguna di sistem akademis.

Abstract

Banyaknya jumlah barang serta penempatan lokasi barang yang berbeda-beda pada Universitas Bina Darma membuat proses inventarisasi barang menjadi lebih sulit. Sehingga diperlukan sistem informasi inventaris barang yang dapat membantu proses inventarisasi pada Universitas Bina Darma. Inventarisasi merupakan kegiatan pencatatan data barang berbentuk material baik barang yang masuk maupun barang keluar dan juga pengajuan atau pengadaan barang. Pada penelitian ini sistem informasi inventaris hanya meliputi pencatatan barang masuk, perawatan, hingga barang tersebut keluar. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode Rapid Application Development (RAD). RAD adalah pendekatan berorientasi objek untuk pengembangan sistem. Dalam metode ini terdapat 3 (tiga) fase, yaitu 1) Perencanaan Kebutuhan (Requirements Planning), 2) Desain Kerja (Design Workshop), dan 3) Implementasi (Implementation). Alat yang digunakan dalam pembangunan sistem adalah Sublime sebagai alat coding, CodeIgniter sebagai framework PHP, Bootstrap Sebagai framework CSS dan Javascript, serta XAMPP untuk menjalankan sistem yang dibangun. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menghasilkan sebuah Sistem Informasi Inventaris Barang Berbasis Mobile Web. Dimana sistem dapat diakses melalui browser smartphone maupun browser personal computer (PC) agar sistem dapat menjadi lebih fleksibel.

Abstract

Kota Palembang merupakan ibukota Propinsi  Sumatera Selatan dengan batas wilayah yaitu di sebelah utara, timur dan barat dengan Kabuaten Banyuasin, sedangkan sebelah selatan berbatasan dengan Kabupaten Muara Enim. Hampir seluruh wilayah di Palembang  telah dialiri oleh listrik. Sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan pelayanan PT. PLN(Persero)WS2JB membutuhkan sebuah Sistem informasi geografis (SIG) yang memiliki manfaat yang besar dalam menyederhanakan proses pengelolaan data, khususnya data spasial dan data non spasial dalam bentuk digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun Sistem Informasi Geografis Peta  Jaringan distribusi listrik dan Gardu Induk  PT.PLN(Persero)WS2JB di Kota Palembang menggunakan Arc GIS 10.2, dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem prototyping, sehingga hasil pemetaan tersebut dapat  menampilkan lokasi  Gardu induk, Gardu Distribusi PT.PLN(Persero)WS2JB di wilayah kota Palembang  yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh perusahaan untuk mengetahui lokasi  keberadaan  aset PT.PLN(Persero)WS2JB yang ditampilkan secara simultan dengan data komponen yang ada di dalam gardu induk sehingga nantinya dapat digunakan dalam menganalisa letak dan kondisi sistem pendistribusian tenaga listrik  serta menjadi sumber data yang dapat dipercaya dalam proses kajian kebijakan dan pengambilan keputusan yang cepat dan optimal untuk melayani ketersediaan listrik  kepada konsumen di kota Palembang. Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi Geografis, jaringan distribusi listrik, gardu induk, ArcGIS 10.2

Abstract

Information systems as part of the development of information technology are needed to shape the performance of an agency. Currently, the thesis data of the Faculty of Computer Science at Bina Darma University is not well structured because there is no system that regulates it so that it cannot be used by students and lecturers to view thesis data for the Faculty of Computer Science at Bina Darma University. This often makes students experience several problems such as the difficulty of finding references for thesis references for alumni of the Faculty of Computer Science because there is no system that regulates and stores student thesis data, so we need a web-based system to make it easier for students and lecturers to see a collection of thesis for alumni of the Faculty of Computer Science. In developing this system using the Web and QR Code so that it can help students and lecturers in searching for thesis data quickly. The system development method that the author uses is the waterfall method. This system uses the PHP programming language and as a user interface design for the database using XAMPP with Mysql as the server configuration. The output produced from this development is an information system that can provide information in the form of a collection of thesis of the Faculty of Computer Science by utilizing the Web and QR Code.
