Patients with active lung tuberculosis (TB) have low body mass index (BMI) because of a wasting. Changes in body weight during the initial period of TB therapy correlated with the death risk, illness severity and relapse as well as decrease of patients physical function. This study aimed to measure the effectiveness of soybean supplementation among TB patients with standard therapy in improving physical function and nutritional status. Fifty nine patients were randomly divided into two groups.Intervention group received one hundred fifty gram nutritional supplementation and control group did not receive anything. Both groups were on the same regular antituberculosis treatment. Assessment of outcomes were done twice, before supplementation and then after 1 month of the treatment. There were significant differences in the changes in proxy physical function parameter in the control and treatment group (3.16 ± 0.83 vs. 4.50 ± 1.47, P < 0.05) and changes in nutritional status variable (0.33 ± 0.15 vs. 0.47 ± 0.16, p < 0.05). However there was no significant difference in the change in mid upper arm circumference (0.83 ± 0.31 vs. 0.93 ± 0.31, p > 0.05). Further research is needed to confirm this result.

Diabetes mellitus is a disease characterized by hyperglycemia, which is caused by impaired insulin secretion, impaired insulin action, or both. Chronic hyperglycemia will lead to dysfunction and damage to various organs, such as the eyes, kidneys, nerves, heart, and blood vessels. This paper discusses the monitoring of patients with diabetes mellitus according to the laboratory tests, to know when the results of therapy has reached the optimum point as well as the prevention of complications that can occur. Acute heart failure (AHF) is a common and growing medical problem associated with major morbidity and mortality. Despite the high prevalence of this condition and its associated major morbidity and mortality, diagnosis can be difficult, and optimal treatment remains poorly defined. Identification of the acute triggers for the decompensation as well as characterization of cardiac filling pressures and output is central to management. Evaluation of patients with Heart Failure (HF) is critical for the appropriate selection and monitoring of therapy as well as for the prevention of recurrent hospitalizations.Diagnostic and management AHF is a challenge because of the heterogeneity of the patient population, the existence of a universal definition of understanding, not understanding the pathophysiology, and the lack of bases guideline Evidence-based medicine

In the endometrium and menstrual cycle, occurs several phase. Those are Menstrual Phase, Proliferative Phase, Secretaory Phase and Phase Ischemi. In the these phase occurs change in outpouring of sex hormones (estrogen and progesterone) that are closely related to the psychological condition (stress and emotions). Psychological conditions in these cycles is estimated to affect the appearance of human motion, appearance of motion in motor skills which means the ability to bring maximum results with spends certain minimum energy and time. The aim of this research was to reveal differences in the appearance of motion in the 200-meter run at the menstrual cycle and endometrium phase. Result of the statistical analysis showed that the appearance of motion in the form of 200-meter run in the fourth group of the menstrual phase, proliferative phase, secretory phase, and ischemic phase has no significant difference (P> 0.05). The conclusion of this research there was no differences in the appearance of motion (travel time to run 200 meters) in a woman in a state of menstrual phase, proliferative phase, secretory phase, and ischemic phase.

In relation to be built âHealthy Districtâ. Sukodono Community Health Centre wanted to evaluate all of the Siaga Villages performance at the area and tried to be upgraded the rank , if possible to be at the best rank. The result showed that at 2013 there was no more first grade Siaga Villages, 52.63% became second grade and 10,53% became third grade but the highest grade was none. To achived the highest grade was very difficult due to limited human resources at the village, so Sukodono Community Health Centre has to do some workshops and gives some rewards to the villagers to attrack them to become the participants

So far, diagnosing on candidiasis has still been limited in standard blood culture. The traditional method of this microbiology culture is less sensitive, many patients with candidasis infection have negative blood culture, and need a long time. This case encourage many researchers to use another alternative methode to diagnose. The purpose of this research is to examine the potency of Candida albicans protein extract as bioreseptor on immunocencor to detect Candida albicans and its biofilm in the blood of candidiasis patients. The research method which is used is descriptive with the following steps : (1) isolating enzim from the liquid of digestive gland of snail (Achatina fulica); (2) extraction of protein candida albicans through enzimatis and mechanic methods and (3) Analyzing the protein extract as bioreseptor through immunodot assay. The research result shows that the snail enzyme has the protein content 1.35 mg/ml and the specific activity 1.96 unit/mg. This snail enzyme can hydrolyze the cell wall of Candidia albicans and, with the help oh sonication, produce extract of planktonic extracel protein (PEP) and biofilm (PEB), extract of planktonic intracell protein (PIP), and biofilm (PIB), with each protein content 1.44; 1.29; 1.29 and 1.21 mg/ml. The characeristic of biofilm intracell protein (PIB) is antigenic on antibody anti-candida (positive control) with giving red spot on immunodot assay. Immunodot assay can distinguish negative control serum (health man) and positive Candidiasis control by using antigen 1 ng/nl and 50nl serum.

The use of natural materials for medical purposes is still being conducted by the public. One of the natural substances that are believed to play a role in health is Tamarindus indica. In Indonesia, the material is referred to as "asam jawa". The usefulness of Tamarindus indica in health have been widely trusted by the world community that led to the development of various researches, ranging from in order to know the content and active ingredients of Tamarindus indica that may have potential until the mechanism of its role in a variety of conditions in the body. The studies even developed on Tamarindus indicas possible role in the inhibition of cancer. The purpose of this paper is to add our knowledge regarding the use and role of Tamarindus indica in a variety of therapeutic efforts.
