Abstract

The massive change from the offline to online era is a sign of digital disruption. One of the organizations that has also been affected is Koperasi Karunika. The purpose of this study is to refine TAM model by adding two antecedents namely accessibility and subjective norm to explain and predict the intention to use online saving and loan application in Koperasi Karunika. In this quantitative study, the variables are explored using online survey. The numbers of respondents in this study is 62 participants. The data were analyzed using SEM PLS. The refinedt model of the TAM used in this study is appropriate but only partially because not all of the proposed hypotheses are supported by the data. Subjective norm was found to be significantly affecting the intention to use, while accessibility was found to be no effect on intention to use the online saving and loan application.

Abstract

Along with the advancement of technology, educational media is experiencing progress. Traditional learning methods are shifting and being replaced by technology-based learning. One crucial aspect of technological advancement is the ability to comprehend written text. The lack of interest in reading can have adverse effects, such as being susceptible to fake news without clear sources. The reading interest in Indonesia is notably low. According to data from the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), Indonesia ranks 74th out of 79 countries in terms of reading literacy skills. The development of a literacy reading website can be a solution to address this issue, particularly in enhancing an individual's reading interest and skills. In this research, the development of the literacy reading website employs the Extreme Programming development method as it considered highly effective in meeting project requirements that demand swift execution and quick adaptation to change. The objective of this study is to create a literacy reading website with a narrative and e-learning concept, featuring literacy readings and quizzes to support the improvement of reading skills. The results indicate that the literacy reading website functions well and can be effectively utilized in the reading skills training process, validated through functional testing using the black-box testing method with 100% results.

Abstract

The N+2 Fashion store is engaged in selling trend shoes which is located in Air Batu City. Activities in the N+2 Fashion Store include ordering and selling trending shoes. Checking the supply of trending shoes is done by checking them one by one, of course this will make it very difficult for employees to estimate the number of trend shoes they want to order from each trending type of shoe. The large number of trend shoe brands is an obstacle in carrying out business processes which results in wrong prices for these trend shoes. In predicting trend shoes must ensure the sales process, minimize costs and time required. The problem faced by the N+2 Fashion Store is the difficulty in predicting the number of items that must be available for the next period in order to meet customer needs and not cause a buildup of goods in the long term. To overcome this problem, predictions are made using the trend moment method which is a forecasting method used to see trends (data that have increased) based on historical data from one variable using time series data. The results of the research obtained a prediction that in September 2022 there would be 9 pcs of Adidas shoes sold with a MAPE error rate of 16.33%.

Abstract

In the current digital era, image classification of fruits, particularly apples, has become crucial for various applications, ranging from agriculture to retail. This research focuses on the utilization of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with the MobileNet architecture to classify apple fruit images. Using the Python programming language, three models were successfully trained: Model 1 for apple fruit types, Model 2 for apple fruit diseases, and Model 3 for apple fruit ripeness levels. All three models underwent training and validation, with the final results at epoch 10: Model 1 for apple types achieved an accuracy of 100% and a loss of 0.0046, Model 2 for apple diseases achieved an accuracy of 100% and a loss of 0.0075, while Model 3 for apple ripeness levels achieved an accuracy of 99.76% and a loss of 0.0439. Subsequently, these models were tested on an Android device, and there were two testing scenarios. In the first scenario, each model was tested with 15 images individually. The results showed 100% accuracy for Models 1 and 2, while Model 3 achieved a lower accuracy of 86.67%. In the second scenario, all three models were tested simultaneously using 30 test images, resulting in an accuracy of 55.55%. Several factors, such as limitations in the apple image dataset, particularly in the ripeness dataset, object backgrounds, image capture distances, color and texture similarities, as well as lighting quality, influenced the classification outcomes. To enhance future performance, improved data preprocessing and a combination of detection and classification techniques are needed. This research provides valuable insights for researchers and practitioners looking to implement image classification technology in real-world applications.provides valuable insights for researchers and practitioners looking to implement image classification technology in real-world applications.
