Abstract

 SMA Negeri 1 Batang  Jeneponto, as an IbM activity partner, have problems related to negative behavior. The observations and interviews conducted with a number of students at SMA Negeri 1 Batang, have shown that many students frequently violated the school rules. In the process of building good relationships with others, there is a section which plays an important role, namely self-control. The solutions offered in the process of this service activities (IbM) performed in several methods such as Focus Group Discussion (FGD), varied lectures, role play and games. This method aims to improve positive thinking in building social relationships in students. As a result of these service activities, students can understand the potential of social intelligence, so that it can be applied in interacting with peers Kata kunci: Self-control, Focus Group Discussion, Lectures, Role play, Games

Abstract

Good master of ceremony understand some aspects (1) attitude and master of ceremony’s behavior, (2) the use of good language aspects, and (3) vocal technique. Then having ability to apply these aspects. Therefore, thraining for master of ceremony is required to be conducted in Junior High School 1 Kalirejo, Kalirejo Subdistrict,Central Lampung. Abstract

Aggressive behavior becomes a classic problem that still occurs today. One technique of changing behavior, especially aggression in students is to apply anger management training. Activities that train students to manage anger is composed of eight meetings by using counseling, training, and FGD. Anger management can train students in regulating emotions so that students are able to learn to minimize aggressive behavior. This activity can provide advice for counselors, counselors should train students in carrying out the anger management to enable them to regulate their emotions and the emotions of students not terluap in the form of aggressive behavior when they deal with certain situations.

Abstract

Peer counseling training activities as a way to address the lack of human resources. Peer counseling is a way for students (teens) to learn how to pay attention and to help other children, and to apply them in everyday life. The aim is to produce a peer counselor to help treat psychological problems of orphans by utilizing peer counselor. This activity was conducted in 10 times the activity began identifying candidates for peer counselors service up on basic skills training for the implementation of counseling their peers. The activities take place from December 12, 2016 - February 22, 2017 held every Wednesdays from 15.00 pm. The result obtained 15 peer counselors to service to peers.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling teachers need training on the preparation of action research guidance and counseling. Is the guidance and counseling teacher is able to frame the action research guidance and counseling? Methods include seminars and training developed the framework for action research guidance and counseling. The result of the process of obtaining training 32 participants who understands and is able to frame the action research guidance and counseling, while six participants have not been able to frame the action research guidance and counseling correctly.Keywords : Action Research; Competence; Guidance and Counseling

Abstract

Dedication to society in Banyu Urip village was conducted for the village staff. It is required due to the fact that many mistakes in writing official letter. This service was conducted for giving good alteration and giving knowledge of official letter. The mistake happened because of lack knowledge about the role of writing good formal letter and the unappropriate of eduaction qualification. The service result shows that staff’ knowledge about  writing formal letter improve. The letters sent are already appropriate with the role system of formal letter. Keywords: Training, Writing, Formal Letter

Abstract

Many staff of Wayakrui Banyumas, Pringsewu could not deliver agenda and speech well. In delivering agenda, they got difficulties in selecting effective sentence, intonation, and performing agende in front of the audience. Moreover the problem occured in speech are speech ability sistematically, sentence use, and the ability in developing speech content. This dedication aims to assist village staff in order to be able in delivering agenda and speech well. The method used in this services are (1) preparing: observing  activity in the location, discussing with the village staff, preparing training material, and facility; (2) action: delivering material about master of ceremony and speech, then practicing both of them; (3) evaluation: giving feed back of training acitivty. The service result shows that 80% of staff in Wayakrui Banyumas are motivated and they are able to deliver agende and speech well. Keywords: Speech, Master of Ceremony
