Abstract

Degradation of paraquat in gramoxone pesticide had been done by sonolysis with adding ZnO. Sonolysis method were performed using an ultrasound with frequency 50 kHz. The optimum condition of sonolysis were found at temperature 40oC. The percentage of degradation of 20 mg/L paraquat by sonolysisi method without adding ZnO during 120 minutes treatment was 20,70%, and with adding0,08 g percentage of degradation increasesd to 56,83% at the same treatment.

Abstract

The research was motivated by rise of student behavior who have not reflected noble character and still rarity of teacher internalize the chemical in the verses of the Qur'an. This research aim to determine the application of inquiry learning model internalized the verses of the Qur'an on the concept of buffer solution and get an idea of the level of students 'understanding of concepts, and obtain a description of Islamic character student responses on the implementation of inquiry learning model internalized the verses of the Qur' 's. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest posttest design. Sampling technique is purposive sampling. The subject in this study is XIIA2 grader who amounted to 30 people, consisting of 8 men and 22 women. The data was collected using a pretest and posttest for understanding concepts, observation sheet to observe Islamic character, LKS for inquiry learning activities and a questionnaire to determine students' responses to the implementation of inquiry learning model internalized the verses of the Qur'an. Data processing is performed with N-gain test pretest and posttest values of the individual students, the value of N-gain of 0.80 which is higher categories were 19 students (63.33%) and N-gain value of 0.66 was considered a total of 11 students (36.67%), and obtained an overall average of the N-average gain of 0.78 is considered high. Abstract

This research aims to reveal the creativity of the Inpres elementary school teachers in learning science and to build a specific theory based on the components of teachers’ creativity in selecting and using the media in learning science, factors that support teachers' creativity in developing materials, developing methods, and the steps conducted by the school in developing the teachers’ creativity. This research uses a qualitative phenomenologic interpretive by applying naturalistic model of Guba. The determination of research information was done purposively. Subjects of the research were teachers who taught science at grades IV, V, and VI. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation analysis, and were analyzed using the Bogdan model analysis. The data validation was obtained through perseverance of observation and triangulation. The triangulation was done with respect of sources, methods, and theory. Results of this research is in the form of a specific theory that the principal’s idea to improve the academic quality could encourage the teachers’ creativity in the science teaching and learning process at the public elementary school “Inpres Sido". This is in line with the social theory, including the theory of learning development within an institution, namely, that the social institutional changes occurred by developing insight or knowledge.

Abstract

Learning outcomes is a whole skill and the results achieved through the learning process in schools defined by the numbers measured by achievement test. While the measure is to apply the measuring instrument to a particular object. Magnitudes numbers obtained, then gained significance when compared to the measurement results to a specific benchmark. Associated with discipline in this study is the tendency to use regulation as a guide in learning a subject and a tendency consistent implementation of rules in learning a subject, and the tendency of commitment to the provision of reward and punishment in the process of studying a course. So with so that there is a positive relationship between the Discipline of the learning outcomes of a course. It means that any increase to the Discipline resulting in the increase of learning outcomes of a course. And this shows if the Disciplinary enhanced the learning outcomes of a course increases. Discipline and vice versa if lower then the learning outcomes of the course also lower suggesting that the learning outcomes of the course is determined by the Discipline. That there is a positive relationship between the discipline of the learning outcomes of a course. This means that every increase of discipline resulted in an increase learning outcomes of a course. So for that, it can be stated that the relationship between the discipline of the learning outcomes of the course well. This shows if the discipline improved the learning outcomes of the course increased as well.

Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the quality of mind maps which have created by students and to determine the result of students learning in chemistry lesson by using mind map model. The research uses description qualitative method. The population is students of natural science program grade XII at SMA 1 Wonosari years 2013/2014. The sample consists of 96 students at class XII IPA1, XII IPA2, and XII IPA3. The research gives imformation about the quality of student’s mind map which have scored by using mind map scoring rubric and the result of students learning which have tested by giving daily examination. The percentage of very good category, good category, and good enough category is 40%, 40%, and 20% respectively. The average of test value is 80.406, it means that the average value is higher than minimal passing standart. The percentage of student which pass the test is 80.208%. thus the result to be categorized as good level.

Abstract

Existing interest that a person against an object is reflected in the behavior. Basically interest is motivated by a person's attention to a particular object of interest, such as attention, curiosity is high, and the need for decisive in selecting the objects to something. Thus, it can be confirmed that a person's interest depends on the attention, curiosity, needs and selection to choose his favorite activities. Interest that is an element in achieving success for someone. If someone is interested in a course, all the attention, curiosity, and the need for a course will be higher, so the higher the learning outcomes achieved on a course that followed. The existence turns impact student interest in learning that has a positive influence on the achievement of learning outcomes of a course. The higher the interest of learners in learning a subject, the higher the learning outcomes of a course he achieved. Conversely the lower the student's interest in learning a subject, then the lower the learning outcomes of a course that achieves.

Abstract

Learning is a process of a person in gaining skills, learning skills and attitudes so that it does not come just like that, but it must be carried out deliberately in a certain time anyway. While the study results are around the skills and the results achieved through the learning process in universities and designated with the numbers measured by tests of learning outcomes. Turns impacted student interest in learning and have a positive influence on the achievement of learning outcomes Sciences, Soasial subjects. The higher the interest of students in learning subjects of Sciences, Soasial, the higher the learning outcomes of subjects Sciences, Soasial achieved. Conversely the lower the student's interest in learning subjects of Sciences, Soasial, then the lower the learning outcomes of subjects who achieved Sciences, Social.
