Abstract

An indicator of learning process run well can be measured through student’ academic achievement. Self-regulated learning is assumed has a connection with student academic achievement. It is known that every students has self regulatory to control their learning activities. The research used quantitative approach and to examine the effect of student’ self-regulated learning skills on academic achievement. This study involved 162 students. The results showed that self-regulated learning skills influence academic achievement. The higher self-regulated learning skill, the higher academic achievement is achieved. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the effect of the use of social media and digital learning resources fordigital native in learning. Type of this research is associative descriptive. Descriptive research is research that describes or explains something of the relationships and influences between variables as they are. While associative research is research looking for relationships between a variable with other variables. The population of this study was Class XI IPS 1, XI IPS 2 and XI IPS 3 in SMAN 2 Painan. The sample used in this study was obtained by total sampling of 97 people. Based on the results of research and discussion on the use of social media it can be concluded that the use of social media by digital native students at SMAN 2 Painan can be classified as quite high. And the use of digital learning resources by native digital students can be classified as quite high. Abstract

Cognitive abilities in students have an important role for children's success in learning because most of the activities in learning are always associated with problems of remembering and thinking. Cognitive abilities are intended so that children are able to explore the world around them through their five senses, which are collaborated with accurate analysis so that with the understanding of the knowledge they get, children can carry on their lives. In supporting the implementation of learning activities with cognitive abilities so as to produce a maximum level of understanding of lecture material, it is necessary to have an appropriate digital-based learning media so that it can collaborate between technology and cognitive abilities. One of the digital-based learning media that can be applied in supporting students' cognitive abilities is to use Web Enhanced Course (WEC). The method used in this study uses descriptive methods and linear regression. Data obtained from the results of questionnaires that have been filled out by students using simple linear regression analysis techniques. The population used in this study were students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Malang. The population used to measure the level of student understanding of lecture material using the Web Enhanced Course amounted to 284 students, while the sampling technique used was proportional random sampling to obtain a sample of 74 students. While the results of this study can be concluded that the use of digital learning media Web Enhanced Course has an influence on improving understanding of lecture material by students as measured using cognitive abilities. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um014v13i12020p061

Abstract

The level of consumption is how extent the level of consumption is carried out by students. It is because there is a convenience in doing consumption through the famous shopping application that commonly known as Shopee. In this study, the level of consumption is affected by two factors, they are e-commerce utilization intensity as well as the level of economic literacy. The aims of this study are 1) to know the effect of e-commerce utilization intensity on the level of student’s consumption in SMA Negeri 4 Malang 2) to know whether there is an effect of the level of economic literacy on the level of students’ consumption in SMA Negeri 4 Malang 3) to know whether there is an effect of e-commerce utilization intensity and the level of economic literacy on the level of students’ consumption in SMA Negeri 4 Malang. The populations of this conducted study were all students of class X IPS SMAN 4 Malang that consist of 103 students, whereas only took samples of 82 students. The type of this present research is explanatory research in which using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study were that e-commerce utilization intensity had a significant effect on the consumption levels of 38.67%. It is because in the industrial revolution 4.0 era, teenagers want to be fast, easy and practical in fulfilling their needs. The level of economic literacy had a significant effect on the consumption levels of 5.80%. Moreover, in the industrial revolution 4.0 era, teenager in fulfilling their needs no longer apply the economic literacy, because e-commerce has provided more convenience in fulfilling the people’s needs. Especially for class X students who were still in basic level understanding of economics, so that they had not been able to apply economic literacy that is included in everyday life. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um014v13i12020p076

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of financial literacy in students and find out what factors influence financial literacy in students of Economic Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Syekh-Yusuf. This study uses descriptive analysis and the Multinominal Logit Test analysis method, with a sample of 116 taken using proportional random sampling in Economics Education students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at the Islamic University of Syekh-Yusuf Tangerang by collecting data using a questionnaire.The results showed that the level of financial literacy of Economic Education students was in the moderate or sufficient category 63,8%. Besides the factors owned by students, namely GPA, education to fathers and parents' income have an influence on financial literacy. While other factors such as gender, class, place of residence, and mother's education level do not have an influence on financial literacy. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um014v13i12020p018

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) The influence of personality on entrepreneurship interests (2) The influence of entrepreneurial knowledge on entrepreneurship interests (3) The influence of personality and entrepreneurial knowledge on the interest in VIII semester student entrepreneurship in Economic Education Study Program STKIP PGRI Tulungagung Academic Year 2018/2019 good simultaneously or partially. This research is quantitative research. The population of this study amounted to 112 students. The sample of this study was 56 students using proportional random sampling method. Data collection techniques using the questionnaire method (questionnaire). The results of data analysis in this study indicate: (1) Partially there is a significant effect of personality on the interest in entrepreneurship with tcount (7.129) > t table (2.005) with a significance of 0,000 <0.05. (2) Partially there is a significant effect of entrepreneurial knowledge on the interest in entrepreneurship with tcount (2.032) > t table (2.005) with a significance of 0.047 <0.05. (3) Simultaneously there is a significant influence between personality and entrepreneurial knowledge on the interest in entrepreneurship with Fcount ¬ (55,591)> Ftable ¬ (3.17) with a significance of 0,000 <0.05. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of personality and entrepreneurial knowledge on the interest of VIII semester student entrepreneurship in the Economic Education Study Program of STKIP PGRI Tulungagung Academic Year 2018/2019. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of intellectual intelligence on the students’learning achievement, the effect of emotional intelligence on the learning achievement students, the effect of spiritual intelligence on the learning achievement students, and stimulatingly examine the effect of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence on the economic learning achievement of students in SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng, Soppeng. Afterward, this study included as descriptive quantitative study. Population the study was all students of SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng which is 955 students. For the sample, 90 students were chosenusing simple random sampling technique. Further, data collection techniques used was questionnaire and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques used was descriptive analysis, analysis test requirements, and data analysis used SPSS 21 program. The result of this study showed that (1) intellectual intelligence variable significantly influenceon the economic learning achievement of students; (2) emotional intelligence variable significantly influencesthe economic learning achievement of students; (3) spiritual intelligence variable significantly effects the economic learning achievement of students; and (4) There was significant variables of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence on the economic learning achievement. Determination coefficient of X1, X2, and X3 to Y (r2Y.123) was 0,153 which showed that intellectual, emotional, spiritual intelligence factors have contribution to influence the economic learning achievement of students in SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng that was 15,3%, while 84,7% was influenced by another variable that was not analyzed further. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um014v13i12020p050

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems in the low economic literacy of students in economic subjects are supported by still lack of economic literacy of students based on the results of observations. This research aims to reveal the differences in increasing economic literacy of students before being given treatment and after treatment is given through a learning models of Group Investigation (GI) experimental class and conventional learning (lectures) control class. This research is a quantitative research using Quasi-Experimental Design. Economic literacy Data Obtained from the post-test students in the form of essays, Reviews These results indicate that there is a difference between economic literacy of students who applied to the learning model of group investigation with the economic literacy of students who applied to conventional models.
