Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aims of this research were to testing the quality of songgolangit leaves ethanol extractanalgesic syrup. Songgolangit leaves ethanol extract analgesic syrup were make with 3various concentrations of active substances which are 40%, 50%, 60% and the quality weretesting. The outcome of quality testing of songgolangit leaves ethanol extract syrup has agood homogeneity. On organoleptic test, songgolangit leaves ethanol extract syrup wassmelling like extract, has a bitter taste, and colored yellow. The pH of songgolangit leavesethanol extract syrup be on the maximum stability which are on 5-7 pH. The average ofcastings time be on the similliar values with the positif control that become a parameter.Key words : analgesic, Tridax procumbens L.

Abstract

FORMULASI DAN UJI ANTIBAKTERI SEDIAAN LOSIO EKSTRAK METANOL DAUN UBI JALAR UNGU (Ipomoea batatas Poir) TERHADAP BAKTERI Staphylococcus aureus   Alstrin Rangotwat 1), Paulina V.Y YamLean1),Widya Astuty Lolo1) 1)Program Studi Farmasi FMIPA UNSRAT Manado, 95115 ABSTRACT The leaves of purple sweet potato (Ipomea batatas Poir) contain flavonoids, saponins and polyphenols, which exhibit the antibacterial activities. The purpose of this study is to formulate the prepared lotion from methanol extract of leaves of purple sweet potato, to test the quality of prepared lotion from the methanol extract of the samples according to the requirements and to determine the activity of the prepared lotion in inhibiting bacteria Staphylococcus aureus with concentration of 1.0%, 1.5% and 2.0%, respectively. The research proves that the leaves of purple sweet potato can be formulated as an antibacterial of prepared lotion and meet the requirements of quality test preparation lotions, including organoleptic test, pH test, and the scatter test. Antibacterial activity test was conducted using the well diffusion method and the effectiveness of antibacterial was examined according to the inhibition zone. The results showed that the methanol extract of lotion from the leaves of purple sweet potato inhibit the bacterial growth of S. aureus, where the higher the concentration, the bigger the inhibition of bacterial growth. Keywords: Sweet potato, Ipomea batatas Poir, antibacterial lotion, Staphylococcus aureus.   ABSTRAK Daun ubi jalar ungu (Ipomoea batatas Poir) mengandung flavonoid, saponin dan polifenol yang mampu memberikan efek antibakteri. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu memformulasi sediaan losio ekstrak metanol daun ubi jalar ungu, menguji mutu sediaan losio ekstrak daun ubi jalar ungu (Ipomoea batatas Poir)  sesuai dengan persyaratan dan mengetahui aktivitas dari sediaan losio dalam menghambat bakteri Staphylococcus aureus kosentrasi 1%, 1,5% dan 2%. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa daun ubi jalar ungu (Ipomoea batatas Poir)  dapat diformulasikan sebagai sediaan losio antibakteri dan memenuhi persyaratan uji mutu sediaan losio, diantaranya uji organoleptik, uji pH, uji daya sebar. Uji aktivitas antibakteri dilakukan dengan metode difusi cara sumuran dan mengetahui efektivitas antibakteri dengan mengamati daerah hambatan. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa losio ekstrak metanol daun ubi jalar ungu (Ipomoea batatas Poir dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri S.aureus dimana semakin tinggi konsentrasi maka semakin tinggi daya hambat terhadap bakteri tersebut. Abstract

ABSTRACT The Kuwil Village Forest City holds an endemic species of Tangkasi (Tarsier spectrum). The condition of forests that characterizes primary forests makes the stems remain in the forest area still status is urban forest. The area of the City Forest of the Kuwil Village is ± 43 ha with a total sampling area of 0.0275 km2 or 2.75 ha with the number of plots installed putting together 14 plots that form a circle with a radius of 25 m. Data was collected in the morning at 05.00-06.15 WITA. Based on the research results obtained a total of duet calls at the location obtained 18 duet calls with a total of 2627 tails / km2 or 26.27 tails / ha which indicates a high population density in urban forest areas. Kuwil City Forest has a variety of potential wildlife that can be processed for conservation of its sustainability. Wildlife conservation can be useful in the future so that it can be used as the development of wildlife utilization both for recreation, natural attractions, and research development. Key words: Kuwil Village, Tangkasi, Kuwil Urban Forest, Density of Tarsier, Conservation. ABSTRAKHutan Kota Desa Kuwil menyimpan satwa endemik tangkasi (Tarsius spectrum). Kondisi hutan yang mencirikan hutan primer membuat tangkasi tetap tinggal di kawasan hutan meskipun statusnya adalah hutan kota. Luas area Hutan Kota Desa Kuwil adalah ± 43 ha dengan luas area total pengambilan sampel adalah 0,0275 km2 atau 2,75 ha dengan  jumlah plot yang di pasang berjumlah 14 plot berbentuk lingkaran dengan jari-jari 25 m. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada pagi hari pukul 05.00-06.15 WITA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh total duet call di lokasi berjumlah 18 duet call dengan jumlah 2627 ekor/Km2 atau 26,27 ekor/ha yang menunjukkan kepadatan populasi tangkasi pada kawasan hutan kota jumlah populasi yang tinggi. Hutan Kota Kuwil mempunyai beragam potensi satwaliar yang dapat diolah untuk memelihara kelestariannya. Konservasi satwaliar dapat berguna kedepannya agar dapat digunakan sebagai pengembangan pendayagunaan satwaliar baik untuk rekreasi, objek wisata alam, dan pengembangan penelitian. Kata kunci: Desa Kuwil, Tangkasi, Hutan Kota kuwil, Densitas Tangkasi, konservasi.

EVALUASI KERASIONALAN PENGGUNAAN ANTIBIOTIK PADA PASIEN LANSIA DENGAN BRONKITIS KRONIK EKSASERBASI AKUT YANG DIRAWAT JALAN DI RSUP PROF. DR. R. D. Kundiman1),  Fatimawali1),  Heedy Tjitrosantoso1) 1)Program Studi Farmasi FMIPA UNSRAT Manado, 95115   ABSTRACT   Rational use of antibiotics have to comply several criteria like the appropriate patient, appropriate indication, appropriate drug, appropriate dose, and appropriate duration. The use of antibiotics in elderly patient with Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis is need special attention  to avoid the risk of mortality and morbidity. This study was aimed to evaluate the rational utilizing of antibiotics in the treatment of  geriatric  with acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis in outpatient  installation of RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. This research is a descriptive study with retrospective data aggregation based on medical records. Research conducted  on 15 geriatric patient medical record with acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis with  20  use of antibiotics  . The result showed,  that evaluation of rational use of antibiotics to the appropriate  patient as much as  20 antibiotics (100%), appropriate indication as much as 20 antibiotics ( 100%) appropriate duration  as much as 20 antibiotics (100%), appropriate drug as much as 11 antibiotics (55%) and appropriate dose as much as 12 antibiotics (60%) . The antibiotic that the most used antibiotic is cefadroxil (46,64%).   Keywords : Rational, antibiotic, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, elderly   ABSTRAK   Penggunaan Antibiotik yang tidak tepat dapat menimbulkan resistensi, kejadian superinfeksi, peningkatan beban ekonomi pelayanan kesehatan, efek samping yang lebih toksik dan kematian. Penggunaan Antibiotik yang rasional harus memenuhi beberapa kriteria, yaitu tepat pasien, tepat indikasi, tepat obat, tepat dosis dan tepat lama pemberian. Proses penuaan menyebabkan penurunan fungsi organ pada pasien lansia dan menyebabkan peningkatan resiko infeksi pernapasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kerasionalan penggunaan antibiotik  pada pengobatan Bronkitis Kronik Eksaserbasi Akut pada pasien lansia yang di rawat jalan di RSUP. Prof. Dr. R. D Kandou Manado. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data secara retrospektif yang didasarkan pada data rekam medik. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 15 data rekam medik pasien lansia yang menderita Bronkitis Kronik Eksaserbasi Akut yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan evaluasi penggunaan antibiotik yang rasional berdasarkan kriteria tepat pasien sebanyak 20 pemberian antibiotik (100%), tepat indikasi senayak 20 pemberian antibiotik (100%) , tepat  lama pemberian sebanyak 20 pemberian antibiotik (100%), tepat obat sebanyak 11 pemberian antibiotik (55%), dan tepat dosis sebanyak 12 pemberian antibiotik (60%). Antibiotik yang paling banyak digunakan adalah antibiotik sefadroksil , oleh  6 penderita (46.64%).   Kata kunci : Kerasionalan, antibiotik, bronkitis kronik eksaserbasi akut, lansia

Kamu1)1)Jurusan ­­­­Kimia FMIPA UNSRAT Manado, 95115 ABSTRACTThe research has been done about peroxide number of tuna fish sauce with 10 and 15 days fermentation time,temperature  50  and 70 , salt content 20% and 30%. The results showed that peroxide number in tuna fish sauce increases with fermentation time temperature and salt content. The best value for the PV is 2,8044 mEq/kg on tuna fish sauce treated in 10 days fermentation time, temperature  50  and 20% salt content.Keywords         : fish sauce, tuna fish, fermentation, peroxide ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan penelitian nilai peroksida (PV) dari bakasang ikan tuna (Thunnus sp.) dengan waktu fermentasi 10 dan 15 hari, suhu 50  dan 70 , kadar garam 20% dan 30%. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kandungan bilangan peroksida yang terdapat pada bakasang ikan tuna meningkat seiring bertambahnya waktu fermentasi, suhu dan kadar garam. Nilai terbaik untuk uji bilangan peroksida (PV) yaitu 2,8044 mEq/kg pada bakasang ikan tuna yang diolah dengan  waktu fermentasi 10 hari, suhu 50  dan kadar garam 20%.Kata kunci      : bakasang, ikan tuna, fermentasi, peroksida

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the species or genus of mercury resistant bacteria culture from mercury polluted waters. Microbiology identification of culture S3.2.2 was done with morphology, physiology and biochemistry test. Molecular analysis was done by amplifying 16S rRNA gene using PCR method. Universal Bact- F1 forward/Uni-B1 Reverse was using as primer. Amplification result was electrophorize with agarose 1,5%, furthermore sequencing was done against 16SrRNA gene. The result shows that culture S3.2.2 were negative grams bacteria, rod shaped, nonmotil, catalase (+), citrat (+), H2S (-), fermentase (+), indol (+) and lisin (+). Blast analysis against nucleotide sequence of 16S rRNA gene possesses 99% similarities with Klebsiella pneumoniae.

ANALISIS KEPUASAN PASIEN RAWAT JALAN DALAM PELAYANAN KEFARMASIAN DI INSTALASI FARMASI RSUP PROF. Dr. R. D. KANDOU MANADO Denise Cristianty Pareraway1), Heedy Tjitrosantoso1), Widdhi Bodhi1) 1)Program Studi Farmasi FMIPA UNSRAT Manado, 95115   ABSTRACT The qualified pharmacy installation service is health care that can satisfy every services user in accordance with the level of satisfaction of patients or consumers, as well as its implementation in accordance with the code of ethics and service standards that have been set, since 25% of the patient's recovery is expected to be obtained from the convenience and good pharmacy service, while 75% came from the drug which use by patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of customer satisfaction against pharmacy service installation in the Prof. Dr. R.D. Kandou Manado Hospital Pharmacy. The level of satisfaction was measured using a model SERVQUAL (Service Quality) by using incidental sampling on all outpatient of Prof. Dr. R.D. Kandou Hospital, Manado. The results of Gap dimensions analysis stated that the highest satisfaction level was tangible, assurance, comes out the same were responsiveness and empathy, and furthermore reliability. To attribute / questions that have the highest satisfaction level is a pharmacy clerk dressed in clean and tidy, and had the lowest satisfaction rate is the time consumed at drug services. The results of the Cartesian diagram analysis against highest service quality questions were category D, then B, A and finally C, where the result showed the level of customer satisfaction at Outpatient Pharmacy Installation in the Prof. R.D. Kandou Hospital, Manado already good. Keywords: Consumer satisfactions, Service quality, Pharmacy Instalation ABSTRAK Pelayanan instalasi farmasi yang bermutu adalah pelayanan kesehatan yang dapat memuaskan setiap pemakaian jasa pelayanan sesuai dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien atau konsumen, serta penyelenggarannya sesuai dengan kode etik dan standar pelayanan yang telah ditetapkan, karena 25% kesembuhan pasien diharapkan diperoleh dari kenyamanan serta baiknya pelayanan apotek, sedangkan 75% berasal dari obat yang digunakan pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan konsumen terhadap pelayanan kefarmasian di Instalasi Farmasi RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Tingkat kepuasan diukur menggunakan model SERVQUAL (Service Quality) dengan teknik incidental sampling pada seluruh pasien rawat jalan RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa analisis Gap dimensi yang mempunyai tingkat kepuasan tertinggi secara berturut-turut yaitu tangible, assurance, responsiveness dan emphaty, dan terakhir reliability. Untuk atribut/pertanyaan yang mempunyai tingkat kepuasan tertinggi adalah petugas apotek berpakaian bersih dan rapi, dan mempunyai tingkat kepuasan terendah adalah kecepatan waktu pelayanan obat. Hasil analisis diagram Kartesius atribut/pertanyaan kualitas layanan terbanyak yaitu kategori D, selanjutnya B, A, dan terakhir C, dimana hal ini menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan pelanggan Instalasi Farmasi Rawat Jalan di RSUP Prof. Dr. R. Abstract

ABSTRACTPneumonia is an infectious disease in the lower respiratory tract that affects the lung tissue. Ceftriaxone and Gentamicin antibiotics are the most numerous and good for use in the treatment of pneumonia, but of the two antibiotics is not yet known the options for more cost effective treatment, so it needs to be done the cost effectiveness analysis in order to facilitate the selection of more cost-effective treatment options especially in toddler. This study aims to determine which therapies are more cost-effective than the use of antibiotics Ceftriaxone and Gentamicin in pneumonia patients in the January-December 2018 period in the Bhayangkara Manado Hospital using descriptive research methods with retrospective data collection. The sample in this study were 22 patients, 12 patients using ceftriaxone antibiotics and 10 patients using gentamicin antibiotics. The results showed that pneumonia treatment in infants using Ceftriaxone antibiotics was more cost-effective with ACER ceftriaxone value of Rp. 503,872 / day and ICER value of Rp. 145,588 / day.Keywords : Antibiotics, CEA (Cost-Effectiveness Analysis), Pharmacoeconomy, Toddler Pneumonia. ABSTRAKPneumonia merupakan penyakit infeksi pada saluran pernapasan bagian bawah yang mengenai jaringan paru. Antibiotik Seftriakson dan Gentamisim yang paling banyak dan baik untuk digunakan dalam pengobatan pneumonia, namun dari kedua antibiotik tersebut belum diketahui pilihan terapi yang lebih cost-effective, sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis efektivitas biaya agar dapat mempermudah dalam pemilihan alternatif pengobatan yang lebih cost-effective khususnya pada balita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan terapi yang lebih cost-effective dari penggunaan antibiotik Seftriakson dan Gentamisin pada pasien pneumonia rawat inap periode Januari-Desember 2018 di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Manado dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pengambilan data secara retrospektif. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 22 pasien yaitu 12 pasien menggunakan antibiotik Seftriakson dan 10 pasien menggunakan antibiotik Gentamisin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengobatan pneumonia pada balita menggunakan antibiotik Seftriakson lebih cost-effective dengan nilai ACER seftriakson sebesar Rp. 503,872/hari dan nilai ICER sebesar Rp. 145.588/hari.Kata Kunci : Pneumonia Balita, Antibiotik, CEA (Cost-Effectiveness Analysis), Farmakoekonomi

Abstract

UJI FITOKIMIA DAN UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN DARI EKSTRAK ETANOL SPONS Lamellodysidea herbacea   Hanna M. Rumagit1), Max R.J. Runtuwene2), Sri Sudewi1) 1)Program Studi Farmasi Fakultas MIPA UNSRAT Manado 2)Jurusan Kimia FMIPA UNSRAT Manado   ABSTRACT Lamellodysidea sponge herbacea are marine animals that contain active compounds which activeness percentage larger than the compounds produced by land plants. This study aimed to test the phytochemical content and antioxidant activity of ethanol extract of the sponge Lamellodysidea herbacea. Extraction was done by maceration method using ethanol solvent. Phytochemical testing include tests alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, saponins and tannins. Testing antioxidant activity with DPPH method (1,1-diphenyl-2-pikrilhidrazil) measured at a wavelength of 520 nm. Phytochemical test results showed secondary metabolites contained in the ethanol extract alkaloids such sponges, flavonoids, steroids, saponins and tannins. The ethanol extract Lamellodysidea herbacea sponge has a relatively strong antioxidant activity based on IC50 values obtained at 85.10 ppm   Key words : Lamellodysidea herbacea, phytochemistry test, antioxidants, DPPH.   ABSTRAK Spons Lamellodysidea herbacea merupakan hewan laut yang mengandung senyawa aktif yang persentase keaktifannya lebih besar dibandingkan dengan senyawa-senyawa yang dihasilkan oleh tumbuhan darat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kandungan fitokimia dan aktivitas antioksidan dari ekstrak etanol spons Lamellodysidea herbacea. Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi dengan menggunakan pelarut etanol. Pengujian fitokimia meliputi uji alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid, saponin dan tanin. Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan dengan metode DPPH (1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil) yang diukur pada panjang gelombang 520 nm. Hasil uji fitokimia menunjukan metabolit sekunder yang terdapat dalam ekstrak etanol spons diantaranya alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid, saponin dan tanin. Abstract

UJI DAYA HAMBAT EKSTRAK ETANOL BIJI PINANG YAKI (Areca vestiaria) TERHADAP BAKTERI Stapyhlococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa Caesar H.  Rundengan 1), Fatimawali 1),  Herny Simbala 1) 1)Program Studi Farmasi FMIPA UNSRAT Manado, 95115   ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity from ethanol extract of seed of pinang yaki (Areca vestiaria) against the growth inhibition of the bacterium Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa using three concentrations of 30%, 60% and 90%. Extraction was done by maceration method using ethanol 96%. Antibacterial activity test was performing using the paper disk diffusion method (Kirby and Bauer diffusion). The results of antibacterial activity test were analyzed by the method of classification according to the antibacterial degree of strength. Data analysis showed that the extract with the concentration of 30%, 60% and 90% had shown inhibition activity against the growth of test bacteria. At the concentration of 30%, 60% and 90% against the bacterium Escherichia coli was categorized in the class of strong, while at the concentration of 60% and 90% against the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa was categorized in the class of very strong and extract with concentrations of 30% was categorized in the class of strong against the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. In all three used concentrations, the concentration of 60% was the concentration, which have the greatest inhibition activity against the three bacteria. Keywords: Antibacterial activity, Areca vestiaria, bacterial pathogens, agar diffusion method.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri dari ekstrak etanol biji pinang yaki (Areca vestiaria) terhadap daya hambat pertumbuhan bakteri Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus dan Pseudomonas aeruginosa menggunakan tiga konsetrasi yakni 30%, 60% dan 90%. Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan cara maserasi menggunakan etanol 96%. Pengujian aktivitas antibakteri menggunakan metode difusi dengan cakram kertas (difusi Kirby dan Bauer). Hasil uji aktivitas antibakteri dianalisa dengan metode pengelompokkan berdasarkan tingkat kekuatan antibakteri. Dari analisa data didapatkan bahwa konsentrasi ekstrak 30%, 60% dan 90% telah menunjukkan aktivitas menghambat terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri uji. Pada konsentrasi 30%, 60% dan 90% pada bakteri Escherichia coli termasuk dalam golongan kuat sedangkan konsetrasi 60% dan 90% pada bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dan Pseudomonas aeruginosa termasuk dalam golongan sangat kuat dan konsentrasi ekstrak 30% termasuk dalam golongan kuat pada Staphylococcus aureus dan Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Pada ketiga konsentrasi yang digunakan, konsentrasi 60% merupakan konsentrasi yang memiliki daya hambat paling besar pada ketiga bakteri.   Kata kunci : aktivitas antibakteri, Areca vestiaria, bakteri pathogen, metode difusi agar.
