Abstract

The low level of financial literacy among the populace has resulted in many individuals falling victim to fraudulent investment schemes. Therefore, there is a crucial need for all segments of society, including the academic community, to play a role in enhancing investment literacy. The implementation of Project Based Learning (PBL) within the Investment and Sharia Capital Market course has demonstrated its effectiveness in equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary to navigate the complexities of Islamic finance. By aligning course objectives with real-world applications and leveraging student autonomy and engagement, the PBL approach has empowered students to become agents of change in society. Through their participation in the course, students have not only gained a deep understanding of Sharia-compliant investment principles but have also developed critical analytical skills and practical experience in navigating the capital market. This multifaceted approach has prepared them to become consultants and researchers capable of promoting ethical and sustainable investment practices within society.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the halal industry as a solution to increase economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara. The research approach uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods. The findings in this research are that economic growth in a province can be increased, one of which is through optimizing the halal industry. By optimizing sharia-based industry, it will become an attractive brand for investors, tourists and creative economy players to improve the economy in NTB. This labeling of the halal industry must of course be supported by binding and sustainable provincial government regulations. So the existence of a halal park industry roadmap designed by the provincial government really helps accelerate the halal industry so that economic growth in NTB can grow and be strong. The halal industry not only pays attention to halal tourism, halal food, halal cosmetics and medicines but also pays attention to the facilities and infrastructure of the sharia financial industry, where the growth of sharia industrial assets in NTB is currently still relatively slow. The role of the OJK as well as financial and non-bank institutions is very much needed so that this halal industry can develop well.

Abstract

Monetary instruments are one tool Bank Indonesia utilizes to try to keep inflation under control. Social wellbeing can be created by stable, low inflation. Because Indonesia has a dual monetary system, both conventional and sharia monetary instruments are used there. The research seeks to ascertain (1) an analysis of the relationship between Indonesian inflation and the Bank Indonesia Sharia Certificate (SBIS). (2) analysis of the relationship between Indonesian inflation and the Mandatory Minimum Reserve (GWM). and 3) an analysis of how Indonesia's inflation is affected by the Bank Indonesia Sharia Savings Facility (FASBIS). This study uses a quantitative methodology and is associative in nature. The research's data analysis method makes use of Vector Autoregression (VAR) analysis techniques, which are run through the Eviews 10 software along with variance decomposition tests and impulse response tests. The results of this research are; 1) SBIS does not have a significant effect on inflation in Indonesia. 2) GWM has a negative effect on inflation but is not significant. 3) Based on the FASBIS variance decomposition test, it has no influence on inflation. The lag test in this research revealed that there is no discernible relationship between Indonesian inflation and the FASBIS variable used to implement sharia monetary operations. The Granger causality test indicates that there is a unidirectional relationship between inflation and FASBIS.

Abstract

The term "TikTok Poison" among young people refers to a trend that showcases content or videos about products, such as unboxing or product reviews. These types of content create a unique interest among users. By watching content or videos created by online shops on TikTok, viewers become interested and sometimes make purchases, occasionally ignoring the benefits, functions, and actual need for the purchased items. The aim of this research is to understand the phenomenon of TikTok Poison on consumer behavior an Islamic perspective. This research employs a qualitative method with the objective of uncovering phenomena related to the respondents or research subjects, such as behavior, actions, responses, perceptions, by describing the research results using words and detailed explanations. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results indicate that the TikTok Poison trend has both positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is that it facilitates online business owners in promoting their products and helps consumers who want to see product reviews. Reviews serve as a benchmark for determining the quality of a product through other people's writings. Meanwhile, the negative impact of consumptive behavior is that life becomes wasteful, many items are not used, and can cause social jealousy. In Islam itself, consumer behavior is hated by Allah SWT, because Allah does not like a servant who behaves like that or wastes something that does not meet his needs. In Q.S. Al-Isra also clearly shows that Allah SWT said that wasteful people are the brothers of Satan and Satan is very disobedient to his God, the meaning of God here is Allah SWT. In Islam's own view, consumer behavior is very clearly prohibited and not recommended, because this behavior is the same as arrogant, luxurious and also wasteful behavior. It is appropriate as a Muslim to behave in using these items in accordance with the portion or reasonable, because anything in excess is not good and is prohibited in religion.
