Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Merumuskan model pembelajaran PAI yang efektif di Lembaga filantropi Pendidikan, 2) Menganalisis faktor pendukung dan penghambat model pembelajaran PAI pada lembaga filantropi pendidikan di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Model penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan teknik analisis data Miles and Huberman. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Kesimpulan yang dihasilkan adalah: 1) model pembelajaran PAI di Panti Asuhan Putra Al-Islam Giwangan menggunakan Model George Betts,  2) Faktor pendukung model pembelajaran PAI ada 5: (a) Sistem pembelajaran; (b) Lingkungan, sarana dan prasarana; (c) Strategi Pembelajaran; (d) Metode pembelajaran, dan (e) Media pembelajaran. Sedangkan faktor penghambat ada 3: (a) Ketidaksiapan pendidik dan peserta didik (b) Kurikulum yang tidak dijalankan secara penuh; (c) Terbatasnya jumlah buku pelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to analyze EFL students’ attitude toward learning English based on three aspects namely affective, cognitive and behaviour and to find out factors shaping students’ attittude. This research was conducted in a public junior high school in district Sokaraja. This research belongs to survey study in which the researcher took 30% from population as the samples. The researcher chose 7th grade students to get involved as the participants. In order to answer the research questions, three instruments were used. Those were questionnaire, interview guide, and note taking of observation. Based on the result of the study, students had possitive attitude in those overall aspects. However, the behavioural aspect comes first accounting for 68,8% followed by affective aspect accounting for 68,10%. Those were higher compare to cognitive aspect which was accounted for just 64,7%. Then it was supported by the results of observation and interview in some points of each aspect. In addition, the result of questionnaire and interview displayed six factors affecting students’ attitude: mass media, refference group, teacher, personal experience, parents and the last is learning climates and classroom task. Some results of factors shapping students’ attitude were also supported by the interview.

Abstract

Gender segregation within the organization is still common, including for Muhammadiyah as a group of men and Aisyiyah as a group of women. This study aims to examine Social Capital Capability of Aisyiyah Baubau, according to the trust of the society to the movement of this organization generally increase with a number of Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah (AUM) in Baubau City. This study categorizes that internal social capital is stronger than the external social capital of the organization’s, it provides a description that Aisyiyah Baubau City is capable of managing members and AUM as a form of organizational development effort, it's just not optimal in building network against stakeholders and local government. In the other hand, aisyiyah baubau in also influenced by social cultural condition of buton society which has a lot of distance ideologically with muhammadiyah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe prophetic values in the poems of Abdul Wachid B.S. as something that can drive the success of character education in a prophetic perspective. The approach used in this research is Riffaterre semiotic approach with qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results of the study were found as follows. There are values or matters related to the three prophetic pillars: first, the humanization pillars are as follows: (1) calling for brotherhood, (2) solidarity on the basis of humanity, and (3) noble values maintained in the face of rapid technological developments. Second, the pillars of liberation contain the following: (1) sympathy by voicing the voice of liberation for the workers, (2) the effort to improve human dignity, and (3) there is an element of unwillingness against injustice prevailing on this earth. Third, the transcendental pillars that vocalize some matters relating to transcendence are: (1) establishing a servant's trust in God, (2) awakening the weakness of man, so that he must always be dependent on God, and (3) should always remind God in any circumstance. From some of the things that appear on the prophetic pillars it is an education that educates the nation's children (the readers) to achieve a prophetic character or it can be said an education that encourages the success of character education (especially character education in the prophetic perspective).

Abstract

Community participation is very important and contributes to the effectiveness of the resulting development planning. However, until now community participation has not been realized ideally. Previous studies have offered various efforts to increase community participation, namely increased local community initiatives (Muhlinghaus & Walty, 2001), development of government and community cooperation (Pandey & Miznikov, 2001), integration of art and planning (Burford, Kissmann, Rosado- May, Dzul, & Harder, 2012), optimizing the role of social capital (Cerar, 2014), socialization to the bottom of the community (Defina, 2012), participatory leadership (Alyas, 2015), allocation of village funds (Atmojo, Eko, Fridayani, Kasiwi, & Pratama, 2017) and optimizing the role of young people as mobilizers (Fitriani, Selinaswati, & Mardiah, 2017). Unfortunately, there has not been an assessment effort that looks at the cultural side. This qualitative case study examines efforts to increase community participation by considering cultural factors that can contribute to the effectiveness of development planning at the village level. Data obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. This study found that the culture factor of mamfatin ukunrai could inhibit community participation in Naran Village. The community believes that planning development is the duty of the government so that it should not actively participate in planning meetings. Therefore, the researcher offers a model of the family code as an effort to reduce the impact of the culture. Ka'en kelun ba ashamed to represent the government's invitation to cooperate with the community for the realization of development from the ground level.

Abstract

Competence of human resources is an important factor in the procurement of government goods/services. For this reason, the government regularly holds training in procurement of goods / services. But this effort has not yet achieved optimal results. This can be seen from the learning achievements of the trainees. In the DKI Jakarta Province, training conducted from 2005 to 2016 only produced graduates of 18% per year. Therefore research is conducted to determine the factors that might be related to the low learning achievement of participants in the procurement of goods/services training. Various studies have been conducted in several Ministries/Institutions/Regions and found various factors related to learning achievement. This research was conducted to examine the relationship between the risks felt by participants and their learning achievements. This study uses a quantitative method with an explanatory approach to explain the relationship between these two variables. The results of the study show that there is a negative relationship between perceived risk and participants' learning achievement. The higher the risk felt by participants, the lower their learning achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) inventory and describe the manuscript of Serat Gembring Baring, (2) display and describe the teachings to reach life safety in the manuscript, (3) explain the character values in the manuscript.  The data are all text or lyrics song in the manuscript. The type of this research was descriptive research with a content analysis method. The process of collecting the data is done by reading technique, taking note and also selecting or reducing the data. The data were analysed descriptively. The validity of the data was gained through semantic validity. Intrarater and interrater reliabity was used to gain the reliability of the data. From the results of the analysis, there are 11 text of Serat Gembring Baring and the manuscript used in this research is still well. There were 6 things that must be done to achieve safety, 1) must have knowledge; 2) must learn about theology (Islam) and science of Java; 3) do the goodness; 4) stay away from the bad things; 5) always pray; and 6) have faith. There are 10 character values in Serat Gembring Baring still related to present life, including religiousity, honesty, discipline, preserance, democracy, curiousity, respect, friendliness, sociability, and responsibility.

Abstract

Abstract - Reinforcement has been used in many areas of educational institution. In the learning activity, reinforcements are given by the teacher as feedback for what students have done. By using reinforcement in the learning activity, the students are expected to feel comfortable to show themselves by responding questions, giving feedback, and expressing their opinions in the class. This study aims to investigate the effect of giving reinforcement by the teacher towards student's learning motivation. This research used the photovoice method and SHOWeD Analysis. The participants are 27 students in 5th semester of English Education Department in online class, consists of 7 males and 20 females with the average age of around 19-21 years old. The finding shows that giving reinforcement encourage student's motivation in the learning activity. As the implication, teachers apply reinforcement in order to make the students high-motivated in the class.

Abstract

Information technology and the role of the media encourage the emergence of cultures that are loved by many people around the world. Culture becomes a popular culture because of the contribution of mass media or new media. Korean culture is one of popular culture in Indonesia today. Various behaviors of Indonesian people mimic the culture in Korea, from the style of dress, lifestyle, hairstyle to even the style of speech sometimes imitating the cultural habits.In a world that has deteritorialized, new meanings shown locally because the existence of territorial not stay in one location. Deterritorialization contain reterritorialization with the relocation of meaning in different spaces and places than before.  Through literature review and observation, the research aims to understanding formation identity process of Korean fandom (Korean wave) and its relevance to the reterritorialization’s context of Korean fandom (Korean wave) in Lampung.  The relocation of ke-Korea-an combined with territoriality requirement as part of the adaptation to location. This results in a number of locality such as the creation of local environment in Lampung.  A scheme that can be displayed from this case is the negotiation of identity through the re-territorialization, cultural borrowing, fictive kinship as results of social boundaries from community with the production locality.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian di Kelas I D Program Studi PGSD FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya sikap percayadiri dan prestasi belajar matematika. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan hasil Penugasan Dosen Ke-Sekolah (PDS) kedalam perkuliahan Konsep Dasar Matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan sikap percayadiri dan prestasi belajar matematika melalui model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Think Pair Square (TPS). Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa kelas ID Semester I sebanyak 35 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri 2 pertemuan. Kegiatan tiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari angket sikap percayadiri, tes evaluasi, angket pembelajaran mahasiswa, dan jurnal refleksi. Berdasarkan data penelitian tindakan kelas diperoleh hasil bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Square dapat meningkatkan sikap percayadiri dan prestasi belajar matematika. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada siklus I diperoleh nilai sikap percaya diri dengan skor rata-rata 2,91 dan siklus II sebesar 3,25 Penelitian ini juga dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika ditunjukkan pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 63,06, dan siklus II sebesar 67,67 Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian bahwa pembelajaran Konsep Dasar Matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Square berhasil meningkatkan sikap percayadiri dan prestasi belajar matematika.
