Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kualitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran materi sistem pernapasan manusia dengan menggunakan alat peraga di SMP kelas VIII. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pre-eksperimental menggunakan desain One-shot case study. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VIII B dan VIII C yang diambil secara acak. Kedua kelas tersebut sebagai kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas yang pembelajarannya menggunakan alat peraga sistem pernapasan manusia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan siswa termasuk kategori sangat aktif yaitu sebesar 93%. Secara klasikal ketuntasan belajar siswa termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik yakni sebesar 89,58% serta tanggapan siswa  selama proses pembelajaran termasuk kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga sistem pernapasan manusia dapat mengoptimalkan kualitas belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 3 Kandangan.Abstract:This aim of this research is to know how the quality of student learning in learning process of human respiratory system meterial that use visual aids in eightth grade student of SMP. This research used pre-experimental design using One-shot case study. The sample classes are VIII B and VIII C that were choosen using random sampling technique. For treatment, both classes used human respiratory visual aids. The results showed the student activities included in very active criteria that are 93%. Students classical completeness included in very good criteria that are 89.58% and students responses during the learning process included in very well criteria. Based on the analysis and research, it can be concluded that the use of the human respiratory system visual aids can optimize the quality of student learning in SMP N 3 Kandangan.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan  hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa pada materi bahan kimia dalam makanan di SMP N 4 Temanggung. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimental menggunakan desain Control Group pretest-posttest. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VIII C dan VIII D. Analisis uji t menunjukkan bahwa selisih post test – pre test kelas eksperimen berbeda dengan kelas kontrol. Selisih nilai post test – pre test dan nilai ketuntasan belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol. Peningkatan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,59 sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 0,48. Ketuntasan belajar pada kelas eksperimen (78,13%) lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol (43,75%). Aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen 71% (aktif) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol 55% (cukup aktif). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa pada materi bahan kimia dalam makanan di SMP Negeri 4 Temanggung.Abstract:The purpose of this research was to know whether the use of Group Investigation learning model can improve the students’ activities and score on the chemistry in the food learning material at SMP N 4 Temanggung or not.The research used was experimental research using control group pretest posttest design. The samples were VIII C and VIII D class.T test analysis showed that the difference between pretest and post test of control class was different from experiment class.The differences of the pretest and posttest score of experiment class were higher than the control class.The score improvement of experiment class was 0.59 while control class was 0.48. The total score of experiment class was (78.13%) higher than control class (43.75%). The activeness of experiment class (71%) was more than control class (55%). Based on the result, it can be concluded that the use of Group investigation learning model can improve the students’ score and activeness on the chemistry in the food learning material at SMP N 4 Temanggung.

Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui proses pengembangan, untuk menghasilkan dan menguji kelayakan Electric Torso materi Sistem Peredaran Darah menurut pakar media dan materi serta penggunaan dalam pembelajaran di SMP. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP N 1 Kandangan di kelas VIII-E dan VIII-F. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan desain penelitian One Shot Case Study. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data ketersediaan media pembelajaran, hasil wawancara guru tentang media pembelajaran yang telah digunakan, tanggapan guru, tanggapan siswa, validasi alat peraga dari dosen ahli materi dan media, motivasi siswa dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian pengembangan Electric Torso dihasilkan Electric Torso yang layak digunakan menurut pakar media, materi dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dipadukan dengan metode Student Facilitator and Explaining karena hasil belajar siswa mencapai ketuntasan individual dan klasikal, motivasi siswa memenuhi kriteria tinggi, dan angket penggunaan siswa memenuhi kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa Electric Torso yang dikembangkan efektif dan dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran.Abstract:Purpose of this study was to know how process of Electric Torso’s development, to know the result and to determine the feasibility of Electric Torso in Junior High School. The research was conducted in SMPN 1Kandangan at class VIII-E and VIII-F. The sampling was conducted by purposive sampling technique in One Shot Case Study design. Data was collected from the form of accesibility of learning media,the result of teacher’s interviewr, teacher’s comment, student’s comment, validation result of Electric Torso from validator, student’s  motivation and thr result study of  students. The result of this study were the proper Electric Torso from validator, the proper learning materials combine with Student Facilitator and Explaining’s method because the result of student’s study reach the individual and classical completeness, the high criteria in student’s motivation, and the high criteria in the use of student’s form. The conclusion of this research was the effective Electric Torso could be apply in learning of biology.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan unjuk kerja siswa dan mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran eksperimen inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan My Own Dictionary untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa SMP RSBI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan control group pre-test post-test design. Rata-rata persentase unjuk kerja siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,50% dan kelas kontrol  sebesar 81,40%. Gain <g> pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh 0.72 (tinggi) dan kelas kontrol diperoleh 0.66 (sedang). Pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal 82% dan kelas kontrol 68%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan My Own Dictionary efektif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan unjuk kerja siswa SMP RSBI.Abstract:The purposes of this research were describing students’ performance and knowing the effectiveness of  guided inquiry experiment learning by helping My Own Dictionary to increase the concepts achievement of RSBI Junior High School students. This research used experimental method with pre-test post-test control group design. The average score of students’ performance was 82,50% and control group was 81,40%. The gain <g> of experiment group was obtained 0.72 (high) and control group was obtained 0.66 (medium). The classical mastery of experiment group was 82% and the control group was 68%. The results of the research showed that application of guided inquiry experiment learning by helping My Own Dictionary effective to increase the concepts achievement and performance of RSBI Junior High School  students.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui adanya pengaruh positif penerapan mindscaping bervisi SETS dalam pembelajaran Kimia SMA terhadap pencapaian kompetensi larutan penyangga. Seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA N 1 Kota Mungkid tahun ajaran 2011/2012 adalah populasi dari penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling menghasilkan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan the nonequivalent control group design. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan dengan berbagai cara yaitu dokumentasi, tes, angket, dan observasi . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada kelompok eksperimen mencapai ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 97% sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol mencapai 87%. Hasil analisis aspek afektif dan psikomotorik menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar afektif dan psikomotorik kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelompok control.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan mindscaping bervisi SETS ini berpengaruh positif terhadap pencapaian kompetensi siswa dalam pokok materi larutan penyangga. Besarnya pengaruh yang diberikan metode ini adalah 34% dengan korelasi biserial positif yang tergolong sedang.Abstract:This research aims to find a positive effect on mindscaping application that features SETS (Science, Environment, Technology and Society ) visions in chemistry learning of high school to the competence achievement of buffer solution. The population of this study was the XI IPA students of  SMA N 1 Kota Mungkid in the academic year 2011/2012. Sampling was purposive sampling technique determine a class XI IPA 3 as the experimental group and class XI IPA 1 as the control group. The design of this research used the nonequivalent control group design. This study used some method documentation, tests, questionnaires, and observation. Results of the study showed that students' cognitive learning outcomes of the experimental group achieved classical completeness 97%, whereas in the control group reached 87%. The analysis results of the affective and psychomotor aspects showed that the average learning outcomes of affective and psychomotor experimental group were higher than the control group. Based on the results of study, it can be concluded that the mindscaping application that feature SETS vision had positive effect to the students competencies achievement in the subject buffer solution. The magnitude of the impact  this method is 34 % with a positive biserial correlation is medium.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas  kunci determinasi dan flashcard sebagai media pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa kelas VII SMP N 16 Pekalongan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-Experimental Design dengan desain One-Shot Case Study. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan  kelas VII yang terdiri atas lima kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil tiga kelas dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dari ketiga kelas sampel penelitian mampu mencapai indikator kinerja. Persentase aktivitas siswa ≥ 90 %, sedangkan analisis hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan persentase ketuntasan klasikal ≥ 91%. Di samping itu, sebagian besar siswa dan guru IPA kelas VII memberikan tanggapan yang positif terhadap desain pembelajaran ini. Penerapan pembelajaran dengan pemanfaatan kunci determinasi dan flashcard sebagai media pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup terbukti efektif terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP N 16 Pekalongan.Abstract:This research aims to examine the effectiveness of determination key and flashcard as a inquiry learning tool for the living things’ classification subject based toward the result of learning and student activity of VII grade in SMP N 16 Pekalongan. This Research belongs to the Pre-Experimental Design with One-Shot Case Study. The population of this research were students on VII grade which consist of five  classes. Sample taken for this research was three classes with cluster random sampling technique. The result of this research show that result of learning and student activity from the third sample classes can reach the indicator of the successfulness. Percentage of student activity is ≥ 90%, while analysis result of learning student shows that percentage of completeness classical is ≥ 91%. In addition, almost all the students and the science teacher of VII grade give positive feedback toward this learning design. Applying the study using determination key and flashcard as a inquiry learning tool for the living things’ classification subject based has been proven as an effective way toward the result of learning and student activity of VII grade in SMP N 16 Pekalongan.

Abstract

Abstrak:Mata pelajaran IPA Terpadu merupakan mata pelajaran yang dianggap sulit oleh sebagian besar siswa. Selain itu, penggunaan model Connected yang merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran  dengan menghubungkan satu konsep dengan konsep lain dalam satu bidang studi. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah perbandingan antara dua pendekatan yakni antara pendekatan SETS dan non-SETS pada pembelajaran model Connected IPA Terpadu pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui hasil belajar dan  ketuntasan belajar yang diperoleh siswa dengan membandingkan dua pendekatan  pembelajaran antara model Connected bervisi SETS dengan  model Connected non-SETS. Penentuan sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Analisis tahap awal menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Setelah diberi perlakuan kemudian dilakukan posttes, diketahui bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelompok kontrol yaitu masing-masing sebesar 82 dan 78. Pada uji t satu pihak kanan thitung (2,58) > ttabel (2) yang berarti rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar klasikal pada kelas eksperimen yaitu  90% sedangkan ketuntasan belajar pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 79% yang menunjukkan bahwa kelas kontrol belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar.Abstract:Integrated science subjects are subjects which are considered difficult by most students. In addition, the use of models that Connected is one model of learning by connecting one concept to another concept in a field of study. The problems examined in this study is the comparison between the two approaches is between SETS approaches and non-SETS on learning models of Integrated Science Connected the experimental class and control class. This study aims to determine the thoroughness of learning and learning outcomes are obtained by comparing the two approaches to student learning between the Connected model envisions SETS with the Connected  model of non-SETS. Determination of sampling with a purposive sampling technique, is sampling with particular consideration. Analysis of the early stages shows that the data are normally distributed. After a given treatment is then performed posttes, it is known that the average results of the experiment group learned better than the control group respectively by 82 and 78. On the right side of the t test tcount (2.58)> TTable (2.00) which means the average experiment class of cognitive learning outcomes better than the control class. Percentage completeness classical learning outcomes in the experiment class of 90% whereas in the control group learned thoroughness by 79% which indicates that the control class has not reached the thoroughness of learning.

Abstract

Abstrak:Pada proses pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 14 Semarang sering terjadi kegagalan komunikasi yaitu materi pelajaran yang disampaikan tidak dapat diterima siswa secara optimal. Pada kenyataanya, potensi siswa belum dioptimalkan dalam proses pembelajarannya, karena metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan oleh guru cenderung membuat siswa pasif sehingga membuat hasil belajar siswa belum mencapai kompetensi yang diinginkan. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa  dengan menerapkanpendekatan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 14 Semarang melalui penerapan metode diskusi dengan pendekatan SETS dan media question cardpada materi pokok hidrokarbon. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 14 Semarang.Penentuan sampel dengan sistem purposive sampling , diperoleh dua kelas untuk dijadikan sampel yaitu kelas X.6 sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang mendapat perlakuan menggunakan metode diskusi dengan pendekatan SETS dan media question card dan kelas X.5 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang mendapat perlakuan menggunakan metode diskusi tanpa pendekatan SETS dan media question card. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan metode dokumentasi, tes, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode diskusi dengan pendekatan SETS dan media question card terhadap hasil belajar hidrokarbon siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 14 Semarang yaitu sebesar 35 %.Abstract:The learning process in SMA N 14 Semarang often occur misscommunication between students and a teacher because the lesson can not be accepted by the students well. In fact, student’s ability have not been optimized in the learning process because the methods and approaches used by teachers make students passive, so student’s result learning have not achieved the desired competencies. One of ways to increase the student’s result of learning  is applied an approach. This research aims to determine the increase student’s result of  learning of10th grade students of SMA N 14 Semarang are treated by using discussion method applying approach of SETS and question card media on the subject matter Hydrocarbon. The population in this reseach were10th grade students of SMA N 14 Semarang. To determine the sample, used purposive sampling system that obtained two classes to be sampled where X.6 as an experimental group that are treated by using discussion method applying approach of SETS and question card media and X.5 as a control group that received treatment by discussion method without approach of SETS and question card media. The reseach data was obtained by the method of documentation, testing, and observation. The result showed that the effect discussion method applying approach of SETS and question card media on the subject matter hydrocarbonstudent’s result of  learning of10th grade students of SMA N 14 is about 35%.
