Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui proses pengembangan, untuk menghasilkan dan menguji kelayakan Electric Torso materi Sistem Peredaran Darah menurut pakar media dan materi serta penggunaan dalam pembelajaran di SMP. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP N 1 Kandangan di kelas VIII-E dan VIII-F. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan desain penelitian One Shot Case Study. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data ketersediaan media pembelajaran, hasil wawancara guru tentang media pembelajaran yang telah digunakan, tanggapan guru, tanggapan siswa, validasi alat peraga dari dosen ahli materi dan media, motivasi siswa dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian pengembangan Electric Torso dihasilkan Electric Torso yang layak digunakan menurut pakar media, materi dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dipadukan dengan metode Student Facilitator and Explaining karena hasil belajar siswa mencapai ketuntasan individual dan klasikal, motivasi siswa memenuhi kriteria tinggi, dan angket penggunaan siswa memenuhi kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa Electric Torso yang dikembangkan efektif dan dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Purpose of this study was to know how process of Electric Torso’s development, to know the result and to determine the feasibility of Electric Torso in Junior High School. The research was conducted at  SMPN 1Kandangan at class VIII-E and VIII-F. The sampling was conducted by purposive sampling technique in One Shot Case Study design. Data was collected from the form of accesibility of learning media,the result of teacher’s interviewr, teacher’s comment, student’s comment, validation result of Electric Torso from validator, student’s  motivation and thr result study of  students. The result of this study were the proper Electric Torso from validator, the proper learning materials combine with Student Facilitator and Explaining’s method because the result of student’s study reach the individual and classical completeness, the high criteria in student’s motivation, and the high criteria in the use of student’s form. The conclusion of this research was the effective Electric Torso could be applied in  the study of biology.

Abstract

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of interviews with teachers, so far still using learning strategies that are unidirectional and not maximizing communication skills. The research method is quasi-experimental with the type of non equivalent control group design. This study aims to determine the effect of Active Knowledge Sharing learning strategy aided by question cards on concept understanding of excretory system material and communication skills. This research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Alternative Magelang City, using two classes. Based on the results of the study, with the application of Active Knowledge Sharing learning strategy aided by cards proved to have an effect. It can be proven in the results of hypothesis testing with Ancova which is sig. 0,000. Meanwhile, the use of Active Knowledge Sharing learning strategy with the help of question cards also affects students' communication skills. It can be proven in the results of hypothesis testing with Ancova which is sig. 0.000 where students have met the five indicators of communication skills. Both results show that the application of Active Knowledge Sharing learning strategy with question cards is better than the application of lecture learning method.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the students' scientific process skills that are not optimal, the student worksheet is not in accordance with the needs, and on the material of the regulatory system practicum activities have not been carried out. This study aims to develop and produce products in the form of student worksheet based on science process skills that are valid, practical, and can improve the ability of students' science process skills. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model. However, in this study only up to the third stage, namely Develop. This research was tested by pre-experiment by one group pretest-posttest design. Collecting data using interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the student woksheet developed is feasible to use. The percentage level of validity obtained is 88.625% (very valid) and the practicality level is 92.5% (very practical). The results of the N-Gain trial obtained an average N-Gain of 0.5709 (medium) and a percentage of 57.09% (quite effective). It was concluded that the student worksheet developed was suitable for use in learning activities. and can improve students' science process skills.

Abstract

Abstrak. Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) adalah salah satu keterampilan penting abad ke-21. Keterampilan ini juga merupakan keterampilan yang harus ditanamkan pada siswa dalam pembelajaran. Pengukuran CPS dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrument berupa inventory. Dalam penelitian ini, dikembangkan Collaborative Problem Solving Inventory (CPSI) berbasis web dengan metode pengembangan Learning Development Cycle (LDC). CPSI yang dikembangkan oleh penyusun merupakan pengukuran terhadap Collaborative Problem Solving yang inovatif, menekankan pada pengukuran sebelum, selama dan sesudah kegiatan pembelajaran Collaborative Problem Solving dilakukan. Tahapan penelitian ini meliputi: (1) Observasi, Survei dan Analisis Kebutuhan; (2) Focus Group Discussion; (3) Penyusunan Desain CPSI; (4) Pengembangan CPSI Berbasis Web melalui Model Pengembangan LDC; (5) Validasi CPSI oleh ahli pengembang bahan ajar (kelayakan) dan guru (kepraktisan); dan (6) Analisis Data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan instrumen CPSI berbasis web dengan indikator penilaian keterampilan kolaborasi yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli dan praktisi. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa instrumen layak digunakan dengan perbaikan kecil (validitas 3,75 oleh ahli media; validitas 3,78 oleh ahli evaluasi; dan rerata 3,65 oleh praktisi). Tindak lanjut penelitian dapat dilakukan dengan mengujicobakan instrumen dalam situasi pembelajaran di kelas, dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan perbaikan terkait kemenarikan tampilan dan desain website.Abstract. Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) is one of the essential skills of the 21st century. This skill is also must be instilled in students in learning process. CPS can be gauged by using an instrument in the form of inventory. In this study, a web-based Collaborative Problem Solving Inventory (CPSI) was developed with the Learning Development Cycle (LDC) development method. The CPSI developed by the authors is a measurement of innovative Collaborative Problem Solving, emphasizing on measurements before, during and after Collaborative Problem Solving learning activities are carried out. The stages of this research include: (1) Observation, Survey and Needs Analysis; (2) Focus Group Discussion; (3) Preparation of CPSI Design; (4) Development of Web-Based CPSI through LDC Development Model; (5) CPSI validation by experts in developing teaching materials (feasibility) and teachers (practical); and (6) Data Analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the CPSI instrument was web-based with indicators for assessing collaboration skills that had been validated by experts and practitioners. The validation results showed that the instrument is feasible to use with minor improvements (validity 3.75 by media experts; validity 3.78 by evaluation experts; and mean 3.65 by practitioners). Follow-up research can be done by testing the instrument in a classroom learning situation, by first making improvements related to the attractiveness of the appearance and website design.

Abstract

Forest is one of the wetland ecosystems that has a diversity of components in it. One of the biotic diversity that exists in forest areas is avifauna. This study aims to identify avifauna in the Kemuning Forest Area, Temanggung Regency, Central Java. Observations were made using the point count method and sampling using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there were 27 bird species from 18 families. The birds found were mostly birds from the Passeriformes order because the observation location was a forest.

Abstract

Based on observations made at SMA Negeri 2 Magelang, the learning carried out at school still uses the Teacher Centered Learning (TCL) model, this causes the ability of science literacy and students' motivation in learning to be not optimal. This study aims to measure the influence of the PBL model on science literacy skills with indicators according to PISA (2022) on aspects of knowledge and learning motivation with Hamzah (2013) indicators. The type of research used is quantitative research with a quasi experiment method of Pretest Post-test Non Equivalent Control Group Design and the sampling technique is purposive sampling. The sample used in this study is class X-3 an experimental class with 36 people and class X-5 a control class with 36 people. The data on science literacy ability showed that the average pretest score of the control class was 44.37 and the average post-test score was 65.43, while for the experimental class, the average pretest score was 43.26 and the average post-test score was 79.34. In the data on learning motivation ability, the average pretest score of the control class was 75.03 and the average post-test score was 76.89, while for the experimental class, the average pretest score was 75.31 and the average post-test score was 83.34. The asym sig value (2-tailed) is 0.000<0.05, the hypothesis test shows that the PBL model affects science literacy and students’ learning motivation. Abstract

Indonesian waters have a high diversity and abundance of marine biota, one of which is Echinodermata species. This study aims to determine the diversity of Echinodermata species found on the coast of Ngrumput Beach, Gunung Kidul. This research is a type of exploratory descriptive research that uses the quadrat transect method when collecting data or Echinodermata samples. Meanwhile, data analysis in this study used the diversity index with the Shannon-Wienner formula and the relative abundance index using the van Balen formula. The results of this study indicate that there are 12 species of Echinodermata from 5 families and 3 classes, including Class Ophiuroidea, Class Echinoidea, and Class Holothuroidea. The most common species found at Ngrumput Beach is Echinometra oblonga, while Heterocentrotus trigonarius is the least common Echinodermata species found at Ngrumput Beach. The results of the calculation of the relative abundance index of Echinometra oblonga species are Di = 21% with a high category, while the results of the calculation of the relative abundance index in Heterocentrotus trigonarius species amounted to Di = 1% which is categorized as low.
