Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru SMP Negeri 3 Muntilan diketahui pembelajaran IPA di sekolah tersebut belum dilaksanakan secara terpadu. Penyebab belum terlaksananya pembelajaran IPA terpadu salah satunya adalah tidak tersedianya bahan ajar. Kendala lain yang dialami, guru dihadapkan dengan krisis karakter pada siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar IPA terpadu berbasis pendidikan karakter yang sesuai dengan kriteria penilaian dari BSNP. Desain yang diterapkan dalam penelitian  ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Muntilan dengan menggunakan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII E untuk uji coba skala kecil dan siswa kelas VIII D untuk uji skala besar. Rekapitulasi hasil uji kelayakan bahan ajar oleh validator I sebesar 77,99% (layak), dan oleh validator II sebesar 95,97% (sangat layak). Tingkat ketuntasan klasikal pada uji coba skala kecil dan uji skala besar adalah 100%. Rata-rata hasil belajar pada uji coba skala kecil adalah 85,56 dan pada uji skala besar adalah 91,62. Hasil penilaian karakter siswa pada uji coba skala kecil dan uji skala besar secara keseluruhan muncul dengan kriteria baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahan ajar IPA terpadu berbasis pendidikan karakter pada tema Dampak Bahan Kimia Rumah Tangga terhadap Lingkungan yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid oleh pakar dan dapat memunculkan karakter siswa sehingga efektif dan dapat diterapkan bagi siswa SMP/ MTs Kelas VIII. Based on observations and interviews result with teachers of SMP Negeri 3 Muntilan it is known that science learning in the school has not been implemented integratedly. It is caused by the instructional material wasn’t provided. Another problem is the teachers are faced with student’s character crisis. The purpose of this research is to develop an integrated-science based on character education that is appropriate for BNSP assessment criteria. The research design is research and development. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Muntilan research subjects was VIII E grade students for minor scale trial and VIII D grade for large scale test. The recapitulation of worthiness teaching material result test by validator I was 77.99% (it is appropriate), and by the validator II was 95.97% (it is very appropriate). Classical thoroughness level in small-scale trial and large-scale trial was 100%. Learning result average in small-scale trial was 85.56 and the large-scale test is 91.62. Overall, character education results in small-scale trial and large-scale trial are on good criteria. It can be concluded that developed integrated-science teaching materials based on the character education on Household Chemicals Impacts to the Environment is valid based on judgment and it can develop the students positive characters so that it is effective and can be applied to SMP / MTs grade VIII students.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  kelayakan modul IPA berbasis etnosains zat aditif dalam bahan makanan serta hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Pegandon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) meliputi beberapa tahapan yaitu: identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, desain modul IPA berbasis etnosains, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba skala kecil, revisi modul, uji coba skala besar, penyempurnaan modul dan modul final. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan layak digunakan menurut BSNP karena lolos tahap I dan tahap II dengan memperoleh rata-rata skor kelayakan isi sebesar 3,6, kelayakan bahasa sebesar 3,7 dan kelayakan penyajian sebesar 3,7 pada tahap II. Modul efektif diterapkan karena hasil belajar kognitif sebanyak 93,75% peserta didik telah mencapai KKM. Hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik mengalami peningkatan diuji dengan N-gain sebesar 0,67 (kategori sedang) dan diuji menggunakan uji t sebesar 10,98 maka modul yang dikembangkan telah terbukti layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.    This research aims to determine the feasibility of the science module based ethnoscience additives in foodstuffs as well as cognitive achievement of students. The research method is research Research and Development (R & D) which includes several stages: problem identification, data collection, design-science module based ethnoscience, design validation, design revisions, small-scale trials, revision modules, large-scale trials , improvement module and final module. The results showed that the developed modules passed fit for use base on BSNP as first phase and second phase to obtain an average score of 3.6 contents feasibility, 3.7 language feasibility and 3.7 presentation feasibility in second phase. The module also effectively applied for cognitive achievement of students significantly increased, tested by N-gain as much as 0.67 (medium category) and tested by the t test as much as 10.98 so the developed module has proven feasible and effective to use in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian bermaksud menemukan modul pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan aspek keterampilan proses siswa. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul IPA terpadu berpendekatan keterampilan proses pada tema bunyi yang layak digunakan oleh siswa kelas VIII dan mengetahui keefektivan modul yang dikembangkan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas SMP N 3 Satu Atap Ayah.  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas lembar validasi pakar, lembar observasi keterampilan proses, angket tanggapan guru dan siswa Analisis data penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif persentase. Persentase hasil uji kelayakan didapatkan bahwa pakar IPA 84,10%, pakar penyajian 88,21%, dan pakar bahasa 89,17%. Tingkat ketuntasan klasikal siswa 100% dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 90,40. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul yang disusun telah memenuhi aspek kelayakan sesuai dengan kriteria penilaian bahan ajar dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran siswa SMP kelas VIII.   The observation was intends to find the learning modules that can develop students’ process skills aspect. The observation to aims develop an integrated science module to approach on the process skills on the sound themes were used by 8th grade students and the effectiveness of the developed modules. The subjects were students of Senior High School 3 of Satu Atap Ayah. This research was conducted by Research and Development approach. The research instrument consisted of sheets of expert validation, process skills of the observation sheets, the sheet of the teacher and the students’ questionnaires. The analysis data was conducted by percentage descriptively. The result percentage of feasibility test that sains expert 84,10%, presentation expert 88,21%, and language expert 89,17%. The level completely of classical reseach was 100% with the  result learn of students are 90,40. Based on the data which obtained it can be concluded that the module has been compiled in accordance fulfills the eligibility with assessment criteria learning materials and effectively to used in learning students at junior high school of 8th grade.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKS IPA terpadu berbasis permainan edukatif serta keefektifan penggunaan LKS dalam pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development yang meliputi beberapa tahapan yaitu: identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain oleh ahli, uji coba skala kecil, revisi produk, uji coba skala besar, revisi produk, dan produk akhir. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan dengan desain true experimental. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan LKS IPA Terpadu berbasis permainan edukatif, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan LKS IPA terpadu biasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS layak digunakan dengan memperoleh rata-rata skor > 2,75 dari masing-masing ahli. Selain itu LKS juga efektif diterapkan setelah dilakukan uji t yang menyatakan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal pada kelas eksperimen adalah 100%, sedangkan kelas kontrol 86,42%. Aktivitas belajar pada kelas eksperimen memperoleh persentase sebesar 83,73%, sedangkan kelas kontrol 70,73%. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa LKS IPA Terpadu berbasis permainan edukatif tema “Gerak Tumbuhan dan Faktor yang Mempengaruhi” untuk siswa SMP terbukti layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.   This study aims to determine the feasibility of integrated science worksheets based on educational games and the effectiveness of using worksheets in learning activities.    The research method used was Research and Development which consisted of several stages, they were problem identification, data collection, product design, design validation by experts, small-scale trial, product revision, large-scale trial, product revision, and the final product. This research used true experimental design with experimental group used the integrated science worksheets based on educational games, while the control group used the regular integrated science worksheets. The results show that based on experts judgement the worksheets were apropriate to be used with average score > 2.75. Integrated science worksheets were also proved effectively when it was applied after t test. It was stated that the average score of experimental group learning outcomes was better than the control group. The percentage of student’s the classical learning mastery in the experimental group was 100%, while the control group was 86,42%. Learning activities in the experimental group obtained a percentage of 83,73%, while the control group was 70,73%. It can be concluded that the integrated science worksheets based educational games "Motion and Factors Affecting Plant" for junior high school students has been proven feasible and effective to be used in learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku saku IPA terpadu bilingual tema bahan kimia dalam kehidupan sebagai bahan ajar di MTs dan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan buku saku IPA terpadu bilingual terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Teknik analisis data secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian berupa buku saku IPA terpadu bilingual yang layak dilihat dari tanggapan siswa dan guru IPA serta validasi aspek  kelayakan isi, kelayakan bahasa, dan kelayakan kegrafikan, dimana semua aspek memiliki kriteria sangat baik. Hasil tanggapan memiliki kriteria sangat baik dan menarik. Hasil belajar siswa pada skala besar mencapai 85.7% siswa tuntas belajar, menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yaitu thitung>ttabel dengan gain 0.4 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku saku IPA terpadu bilingual tema bahan kimia dalam kehidupan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dan dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa.  This study has purpose that is to develop the proper teaching material to be used in form of bilingual pocketbook of integrated science, with the theme of chemical subtances in life, and to know the effect of using bilingual pocketbook on the students learning achievement. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D). The data were analyzed quantitative and qualitatively. The study results are bilingual pocketbook of integrated science who had feasibility from content, language, and grapichal aspect, the responses of product was good criteria for all them. The percentage of student’s classical learning mastery in the large-scale was 85.7% that showing the influence of the tarithmetic> ttable and n-gain of 0.4 with medium criteria. Based on the above results it can be concluded that the bilingual pocket book of integrated science with theme chemical subtances in life is feasible for use as teaching materials and can affect student learning outcomes.
