Abstract

This paper presents two terms which have differences, namely Islamic religious education and Islamic education. To see these two terms, the author reviews them from two interrelated aspects, namely the epistemological aspect as the theory of knowledge and aspects of content or material which is one of the important points in understanding the curriculum. Meanwhile, in terms of epistemology, Religious Education is more inclined to apply in educating in the context of Islam. While Islamic education speaks at the source level, in theory, the principle recorded is the forerunner of the Islamic Religious Education material itself. As for content or material, basically between Islamic Education with Islamic education as in an epistemological view, there is no difference which means that the terms contained in Islamic Education include aqidah, worship, and morals which are explained in terms of an introduction to Allah SWT, potential, human functions, and morals. Keywords: Education, Islamic Education, Epistemology This paper presents two terms which have differences, namely Islamic religious education and Islamic education. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in interest and student learning outcomes of class XI OTKP-1 SMK YPE Nusantara Slawi Academic Year 2019/2020 in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) using a Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative approach. The research method uses a classroom action research method with two cycles. Each cycle involved 26 students who were divided into six groups. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing the action, observing, and reflecting. Data analysis used comparative descriptions of initial conditions, cycle I, and cycle II for interest variables in learning and learning outcomes. The results showed that applying the TPS-type cooperative learning model could increase student interest in learning and learning outcomes. Increased interest in learning in the first cycle of the first meeting reached 52%, and the second meeting reached 63%. The first meeting reached 76.66% in the second cycle, and the second meeting reached 88.33%. Learning outcomes increased from 34.61% to 80.77% in cycle I and 65.39% in cycle II.Keywords: Think Pair Share, Interest in Learning, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The current article aimed at presenting an overview of types, requirements and procedures of certification in Islam education for the students who have passed the examination in order for countries outside United Arab Emirates. Core materials on the subject were compiled from various resources to guarantee the validity of the information. It turned out that there were a number of concepts of certification pertinent to etymology and practices. One distinctive issue of certification was that, in Islam education, certification was attached to the authority of professor or sheikh, not the institution, and the government has no right whatsoever with respect to certification. This, in fact, differentiates certification in Islam World from that practiced in the West.Keywords: Certificate, Certification, Etymological Concept, Islam Education System

Abstract

In the concept of Islam, parents play an important role in the implementation of their children’s religious education, and parents must even be able to be role models for their children. For that reason, who became the subjects of this study were the parents in Air Duku village; concerning how was their role in fostering adolescents through education in the family. This study used a qualitative approach, and the data were analyzed using the approach of Miles et al. This study found a conclusion that the parents’ role was quite maximal in educating and instilling the values of Islamic education to foster adolescents’ morals in Air Duku village. The implementation pattern of such a fostering effort is through the inculcation of religious values, guiding, supervising children/adolescents’ behavior, and reprimanding them when doing bad things with the methods of habituation and giving advice, for example, and attention.Keywords: Parents’ Role, Morals, Teenagers

Abstract

The quality of education is related to whether or not national education goals are achieved as stated in Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System. Therefore, the quality of education can be said it is good if it meets the National Education Standards. The fulfillment of minimum standards of education which is the National Standard of Education is a prerequisite to improve the quality of education including madrasah. The reality that emerges is the quality of education in Indonesia is still far from what is expected, let a quality in most madrasah which are still having many obstacles. Many madrasah do not qualify the National Education Standards, such as educators and education staff who have not met standardized qualifications and competencies, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. This paper aims to describe how the role of the education quality assurance system in improving the quality of education in madrasah.

Abstract

The talaqqi is a method that is very suitable for beginner children especially those who cannot read well according to their lafad and makhraj. The talaqqi method is applied to make it easier for children to memorize by depositing or playing the memorization that has just been memorized to an instructor teacher to know the increase in memorization of the al-Quran. This article discusses the effectiveness of the talaqqi method in improving the memorization of al-Quran at SDIT Ulul Al-bab Weleri. The result is the implementation of the talaqqi method and the improvement of students' memorization with the highest intensity, which is very good intensity. There is a positive influence between the talaqqi method on the increase in memorization of al-Quran of students There is a significant influence between the talaqqi method and the memorization of al-Quran of students in SDIT Ulul Al-bab Weleri.Keywords: Effectiveness, Talaqqi Method, Al-Qur'an memorization

Abstract

The use of discussion methods in Islamic religious education in SMP N 1 Demak. The purpose of this study is the effectiveness of the method in the learning of Islamic religion and its effect on learning in Kes XI SMP N 1 Demak. From data analysis to field research methods and data collection using interviews and observations, as well as literature studies. The results show that the method of discussion conducted at school in Islamic subjects has been effective and also affects students, students like learning that is fun and involved in learning. The effects of learning using group discussion methods are as diverse as increasing achievement, increasing social interaction, increasing activity, and increasing emotional intelligence.Keywords: Discussion Methods, Student Activeness, Benefits of Discussion

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Implementation of the 8 Juz of Tahfidzul Quran at SDIT Salsabila 4 Jetis Bantul. This research is qualitative. The subjects of this study were the principal and the Tahfidz teachers. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative. I was checking the validity of the data used technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the 8 Juz of  Tahfidzul Quran Method in SDIT Salsabila 4 Jetis could reach the target using the wahdah method. And the rules in memorizing the Quran, really implemented. Of eighteen Tahfidzul Quran students, nine students meet the 8 Juz target.Keywords: Wahdah Methods, Tahfidzul Quran, 8 Juz

Abstract

The birth of the Regulation of Dirjen Bimas Islam No. DJ. 491/11 of 2009 concerning Course for the Brides, which was then refined by the Regulation of Dirjen Bimas Islam No. DJ.II / 542 of 2013 concerning the Guidelines for Implementing the Pre-Marriage Course is a government effort in providing knowledge, understanding, and skills for brides. With this provision, it is expected to be able to reduce divorce rates and anticipate other various family problems. In practice, this pre-marriage course program faced various obstacles so that it was considered to be less optimal. This article examines various problems that occur in the field surrounding the implementation of pre-marital courses and offered some Islamic education values as solutions. Regulations, socialization, legitimacy, and collaboration between institutions are needed so that the pre-marital course has a strong bargaining position and the implementation will be more optimal and functional.Keywords: Pre-Marital Courses, Sakinah Family, Islamic Value

Abstract

This study aimed to find out a depiction of educational patterns of parents whose educational background was elementary education in guiding and motivating their children often playing online games. This study applied a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observations and interviews. After the data had been collected, they were then analyzed using the theory of Miles et al, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study concluded as follows: first, parents’ level of education had an implication on the lack of parental motivation in Tanjung Alam Village. It happened because there were still many parents who did not really understand the educational process. Second, the habit of playing games by teenagers in Tanjung Alam Village became the implication of the lack of parents’ knowledge as regards technological development and the negative impact of playing online games so that parents did not realize that this habit had an impact on the lack of learning activities at home.Keywords: Parental education, learning motivation, online games
