Abstract

The role of the mass media is very decisive in the delivery of information and a government policy. In line with the increasing level of communication technology development, the communication method rapid development as well. But all of that has the same accentuation that communicators convey messages and ideas to the publik. When detailed more concretely, the method of communication in the contemporary world which is the development of verbal and nonverbal communication covers many fields, including journalism, publik relations, advertising, exhibitions/ expositions, and publikations that will influence political culture. This paper will discuss more about the influence of mass media in education policy.

Abstract

The Integrated Islamic Schools Network (JSIT) applies a typical curriculum for Integrated Islamic Schools (SIT) to shape student character in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah. A typical curriculum is a curriculum that is applied and becomes a special feature of SIT, national curriculum development but is expanded and deepened by JSIT Indonesia and independent. This typical curriculum is applied with the aim of dealing with moral aspects that are often overlooked in the education process. This article aims to determine the effect of applying a typical curriculum to the formation of student character at SDIT Permata Bunda. This research is field research with quantitative methods using a questionnaire. The results showed that the calculated r-value of 0.119 was smaller than the r-value of table 0.220. So, it can be concluded that there is no influence between the application of a typical curriculum to the formation of student character at SDIT Permata Bunda. Therefore, there are several things that need to be evaluated so that the application of this typical curriculum can run more optimally.Keywords: Typical Curriculum, Formation of Student Character

Abstract

This article seeks to describe that Islam is not just a religion that pays attention to issues of credo and ritual, but it is also a worldview that brings a change for Muslims. As an Islamic way of life, it has an integrated view of physical and non-physical realities. The verses of the Koran are seminal concepts that project an Islamic view of the universe and life which are referred to as Islamic natural views. It has a different view from the views of other religions and civilizations. Conceptually, Islam as a worldview is closely related to all human activities as social, intellectual, and religious beings. As a system of belief, thought, and values, it has the power to change the conditions of civilization. So that in history, its presence has been able to generate scientific traditions through the earliest educational institutions known as Madrasas as-Suffah. From this Madrasa ash-Suffah, ashab ash-suffah (scientific community) developed, This scientific community is needed for the emergence of scientific traditions. The existence of this scientific tradition which later generates to major scholars in the fields of Kalam Science, Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Sufism, etc., which in subsequent developments were able to give birth to polymath Muslim scientists, namely scientists who have expertise in various fields of science at once.Keywords: Islamic Worldview, Scientific Traditions, Science

Abstract

Education is a cultural process, in which education will greatly affect human continuity in religion, socialization, and culture. Education and cultural arts can never be separated because they influence each other, including cultural arts that shape the personality of an individual or group. Therefore, the process in education must have high-cultured wisdom in order to build attitudes, a balanced character of students from cognitive, affective, psychomotor results. More specifically, the purpose of Islamic education is to build character and good character. It is felt that Islamic education which is full of the meaning and beauty of God will be easily combined with elements of art and culture. Abstract

Understanding of the concept of learning in Islamic education and also the concept of student ethics according to Kyai Haji Hasyim Asy'ari in the book adab Ta'lim Muta'alim. The purpose of this study is so that student tools in learning can facilitate the achievement of appropriate character education. The results of the study state that the principle that students must have is a pure heart straightens out the intention to seek knowledge qanaah can divide the time to reduce eating and drinking reduce sleep and avoid association with the opposite sex. The method in this study is that student library research in the view of Kyai Haji Muhammad Hasyim Asy'ari is a person who must have full continuity and concentration in participating in learning activities that have high mortality and motivation so that students are not trapped in pragmatism while seeking knowledge.Keywords: Morals, Ta'lim Muta'alim

Abstract

In this study, the author describes the problem of how to implement the BTQ matriculation program at IAIN Pekalongan. Is there an increase in Al-Qur'an literacy skills of PAI students through the BTQ matriculation program at IAIN Pekalongan. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the BTQ matriculation program at IAIN Pekalongan and to find out whether there was an improvement in the Al-Qur'an literacy skills of PAI students through the BTQ matriculation program at IAIN Pekalongan. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach using experimental methods. The results of the study can be concluded that the implementation of the BTQ matriculation program at Pekalongan IAIN is conducted once a week on Saturdays. To find out the ability of students to read and write the Qur'an, an examination or test is carried out both written tests and oral tests. The results of calculations through prerequisite tests and comparative tests show that the BTQ matriculation program can improve the Al-Qur'an literacy skills of PAI students. From the results of these calculations, it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in the results of student test scores before participating in the BTQ matriculation program and after participating in the BTQ matriculation program.Keywords: Improvement, Read Write Al-Qur'an, BTQ Matriculation Program

Abstract

Library is an important element in supporting the success of learning activities. Therefore library management should be maximized. The function of the library in general is as a source of learning because in there available various library materials, but the problem is a lot of libraries especially library school of primary school (SD) which management is less than the maximum. Source of data in this research were principal, librarian, teacher, and student. Data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was used the method of reduction and tested with the test credibility.  This study aims to determine the various obstacles and efforts that make the school library as Iqro’ Center for students primary state of Bangetayu Wetan 02. Iqro' Center is the concept of Islamic library which aims to make the library as a center of student activities in reading and discussion according to QS. Al-'Alaq verses 1-5. The results showed that the biggest obstacle of this library is the absence of librarians so that circulation services are not running. These constraints can be overcome by fulfillment of librarians. In accordance with the results of interviews, to make the school library as Iqro’ Center for business students that need to do is to adjust the library materials to the needs of students, as well as the need for motivation from teachers to build reading interest in students. Therefore, in managing the library should involve teachers and students because they are the library users.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the values of moral education of the Apostle in the study of Mawlid SHIMT Ad-Durar to students in the boarding school in Darur Rohman Demak. Implementation of the value of moral education of the Apostle in the book Shimt al-Durar mawlid on the students in the boarding school Darur Rohman, has been performed well in the boarding school environment especially on the daily activities of students in the area of the cottage that is in place of morality. According to the display in the book of Shimt al-Durar mawlid when it will do anything especially when willing to learn him, he has always had the holy first, read the prayer and that is very important using morality. His habit was implemented at the boarding school Darur Rohman. The values of moral education in it are teaching the students to become people who have the moral sense of the prophet is with a sense of love and glorify him, say Sholawat and greetings to him. And teach the students to be people who have a sense of self-esteem that is by maintaining the purity of birth and inner and refraining from something that is not liked by Allah SWT, has a sense of shame, weak and gentle tempers, have a strong determination, far-off, is generous, authoritative.Keywords: Concept of value, Educational Morality of the Apostle, Book of Maulid SHIMT Ad-Durar

Abstract

Globalization is an era marked by the rapid development of science and technology, so it can change the world fundamentally. Globalization era knows no geographical boundaries between countries are due to the limit is no longer able to stem the distribution of information that is increasingly diverse. One of the negative impacts of the globalization era is the shifting of local values (cultural) and religious values. Through globalization, various ideologies that conflict with local and religious values have affected some of mankind. Seeing the various realities, there must be concrete steps to overcome them. One is to maximize value education in schools so as to have a positive impact on the behaviour of learners inside and outside of school. The headmaster as a leader in school has a very important role. The strategy used by a headmaster in implementing values education in schools affect his level of understanding and practice. Especially influence on the level of awareness of students in the practice of noble values, both of which are in institutions or outside the institution, whether formal or non-formal. The use of the right strategy will produce value as desired.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe implement the Iqro’ method which learning to read the Qur’an at TKA-TPA “AMM” Kotagede Yogyakarta, to explain the systematic, and advantage the Iqro’ method. The research uses the type of qualitative research by describing the data that has been collected as research and field research as a place of research. The results of this research are the implementation of the Iqro’ method which learning to read the Qur’an at TKA-TPA “AMM” Kotagede Yogyakarta based on the main principles of classical and private. Other principles such as, directly introduce the sound of hijaiyah, for kindergarten age are allowed to read, CBSA system and teaching have a purpose. Systematic Iqro’ method which learning to read the Qur'an through stage start from volumes 1-6. Iqro’ method is arranged from concrete to abstract, start from easy to difficult, and start from simple to complex. The Iqro’ method has an advantage, that has been applied throughout Indonesia and some ASEAN countries, flexible, the books are easy to obtain and affordable, use the CBSA system, can finish Iqro’ with a short time, practical, systematic, and varied.Keywords: Iqro’ method, Learning to Read the Qur'an
