Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the personal competence of Islamic education teachers in Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Kota Gorontalo shown in three domains of personality competence consisting of three competency aspects, namely: acting in accordance with religious, legal, social, and national cultural norms; show an adult and exemplary person; and work ethic, sense of responsibility and pride in being a teacher. Research on this is reinforced by the results of teacher performance assessments on teacher personality competencies by the principal according to the data obtained in the field. PAI teachers, for example, do not share their experiences with colleagues, including inviting them to observe their teaching methods and provide input, show less good behavior that image madrasah's good name, rarely ask permission and inform earlier, by providing valid reasons and evidence for not attending activities has been planned, completes all administrative and non-learning tasks in a timely manner according to the set standards, contributes less to the development of madrasas and lacks achievements that have a positive impact on the reputation of madrasahs. Keywords: Personal Competence, Islamic Education Teacher

Abstract

The culture of the Malay people of Sungai Jambu has local wisdom that is in the tradition of being deported in fields that are held once a year. Berandep in the fields is the activity of the Malay community in Sungai Jambu which is carried out in mutual cooperation at the time of planting (planting rice) and harvesting rice (tapping rice) with the aim of making the work is easier to finish. In the implementation of berandep formed 4-6 people and carried out in turns. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. Based on the tradition of research based on the above, that from the implementation of the tradition there are behaviors that lead to cooperation and helping one another, in the sense that the subject of continuous akidah-akhlak is based on tradition. The implementation of the backward tradition has a relation to the subjects of Akidah-Akhlak which are outlined in the material of cooperation, good help, and morals in neighboring and community life.Keywords: Local Wisdom, Akidah-Akhlak lessons, Berandep

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out about how to improve the quality of Islamic education through optimizing personnel management, and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of personnel management in SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Plus Bandung City. The research that was carried out was included in qualitative descriptive research. The data collection method uses the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, improving the quality of education is a systematic effort in school management to achieve progress from one stage to a higher level to produce added value according to applicable norms/standards. Management of improving the quality of Islamic education in schools is a quality improvement method that is based on school education itself, applies a set of techniques, is based on the availability of quantitative and qualitative data, and empowers all school components to continuously increase the capacity and capacity of school organizations to meet the needs of participants. students and society. By optimizing personnel management, it can continue to improve the quality of Islamic education. Abstract

The article aims to explain and describe the concept of Islamic education which imitates the Prophet's model in educating friends. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis, namely describing the data accompanied by critical analysis. The results of the research can be concluded that in general, Islamic religious education based on sirah Nabawiyah at the Kuttab Al-Fatih Semarang Foundation is carried out by teachers very well and efficiently, this can be proven from several things, namely: 1). Planning Based on Sirah Nabawiyah at the Kuttab Al-Fatih Semarang Foundation can be said to be very good and efficient, because in implementing planning in learning Kuttab teachers really pay attention to the procedures that will be used and applied to good students. 2) The implementation of Islamic Learning Based on Sirah Nabawiyah at the Kuttab Al-Fatih Semarang Foundation is very good and efficient, because most of the indicators contained in learning have been carried out by the teacher both from the aspects of preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities are in accordance with Kuttab procedures.Keywords:  Islamic Education, Sirah Nabawiyah

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the amount of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers' efforts and roles, as well as how they should be involved in developing students' digital literacy. This is due to pupils' inadequate digital literacy, which manifests itself as an inability to process information gained via technology, information, and communication devices. In fact, digital literacy is one of the literacy foundations that are included in 21st-century skills. According to data issued by the Ministry of Communication and Information, Indonesia ranks second in cybercrime and the frequency of false information (hoax), making PAI teachers responsible for increasing digital literacy for students on both a moral and professional level. Interviews with various PAI teachers in Semarang are used in this study. The purpose of the interview was to evaluate how far PAI teachers had progressed in enhancing pupils' digital literacy. According to the findings of this study, PAI teachers' efforts are still minimal. The development of information technology as a method and a learning medium has not been optimized. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to: explain the concept of Humanist-religious education Abdurrahman Mas'ud; describe the concept of strengthening character education; detail the skills of the 21st-century students; Analyze the relevance of humanist education with the strengthening of 21-century character education. Data was obtained through literature studies on books written by Abdurrahman Mas'ud and then analyzed critically and in-depth. The results of this study indicate that the objectives of Humanism-Religious Education Abdurrahman Mas'ud are the development of human potential as religious beings and social beings by offering six aspects of education development. In line with the strengthening of the 21st-century character, education consists of five main values, namely religion, nationalism, independence, cooperation, and integrity. The skills of 21st-century students are critical thinking skills, creativity, communication, and collaboration. The relevance of the concept of humanist education Religious Abdurrahman Mas'ud with strengthening character education lies in the goals of religious humanist education. Abstract

This article is motivated by the phenomenon of the students of SMPN Satap-1 Kamipang in the form of difficulties in literacy, namely reading and writing the Qur'an, it is necessary to explore how the role of PAI teachers in overcoming the difficulties of these students. For this reason, this article aims to look at the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in overcoming the difficulties of students in al-Qur'an literacy at the junior high school level. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data obtained from scientific journal literature, books, and interviews with a PAI teacher and several students of SMPN Satap-1 Kamipang. The data collection technique was carried out by purposive sampling. The results of the study found that the role of PAI teachers was to overcome students' difficulties in al-Qur'an literacy at SMPN Satap-1 Kamipang. Among them are, motivators (providing enthusiasm and motivation), Counselors (providing understanding to students), Observatory (knowing students' abilities in al-Qur'an literacy), facilitators (providing direct guidance), informers (providing information and directives), and evaluator (give an assessment).Keywords: Literacy of the Al-Qur’an, Student Difficulties, The Role of Islamic Education Teachers

Abstract

However, along with the times, pesantren have not only opened religious-based schools, but also public schools that provide general knowledge (natural, social, and language) to their students. Educational formalities in pesantren were also proposed so that pesantren alumni could continue their education to public schools. There are three main problems in this paper by reconstructing the pesantren education system, as follows; (1) the relationship between pesantren and the outside world, (2) the relationship between pesantren and science and technology, and (3) the epistemology of Islamic Science in Pesantren Sains (Trensains). The qualitative descriptive method is the choice in this study. This research is a qualitative field study with case studies. In order to obtain comprehensive data and pay attention to the relationship between the data and the focus and objectives of the research, data collection in this study used three techniques, namely (1) interviews, (2) participant observation: (3) research documentation. Research activities in data analysis include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From this research, it can be found that the interaction of science and technology with science cannot be denied. So pesantren must be prepared to deal with it. There are several Islamic boarding schools that have interacted with science and technology, both of which have greatly influenced the style of education, one of which is the Tebuireng Science Boarding School (Trensains). Santri are invited to study religion (Qur'an) as well as to study the verses of Kauniyah contained in it.Keywords: Interaction, Pesantren, Science, Technology

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the development of understanding of UPN Veterans East Java lecturers and students about radical movements in the campus environment. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach involving a lecturer of Religion at UPN Veteran East Java as the research subject. From the results of the interviews, it was found that the lecturers had the same view on radicalism. This radicalism understanding develops from a lack of in-depth religious understanding. Meanwhile, among students, the development is due to the immaturity of students' thinking patterns and their great curiosity. The role of Religion lecturers in preventing radicalism at UPN Veterans East Java is by instilling the spirit of nationalism based on the Unitary State Republic of Indonesia, Pancasila, and the 1945 Constitution, defending the state to students, teaching Islamic insights that are Rahmatan Lil Alamin, moderate, open, and tolerant, fostering Islamic brotherhood, ukhuwah wathaniyah, and ukhuwah basyariah as well as instilling critical thinking in students.Keywords: The Role of Religion Lecturers, Preventing Radicalism

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to examine more deeply about: (1) the causes and effects of the phenomenon of racism, (2) explore the meaning of the term al-ikhwah as the basis for the solution of the Qur'an to the problem of racism, and (3) an overview of the re-actualization of the concept of al-Ikhwah. -Ikhwah through peace education. The method used is a qualitative method approach with a concept analysis approach. The results of the study show that: (1) the main causes of racism that most often occur are the elements of fanaticism and egocentrism that are so excessive, that they view other races or ethnic groups as inferior to their group. (2) The meaning of al-ikhwah contained in the QS. Al-Hujurat [49]:10 contains the meaning of brotherhood based on solidarity and efforts to avoid disputes. (3) The actualization of the term al-ikhwah combined through peace education can be implemented in washatiyyah-based learning or moderate learning and build community culture in educational institutions that support a caring mentality.Keywords: Racism, Al-Ikhwah, Peace Education
