Abstract

Project ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah sistem informasi yang terbebas dari resiko yang mungkin terjadi ketika mengolah data secara manual seperti hilangnya berkas, pudarnya tulisan, kesulitan dalam mencari data publikasi penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. Sistem Informasi Publikasi Penelitian dan Pengabdian ini dibangun dalam bentuk katalog yang berisi informasi mengenai publikasi penelitian dan pengabdian yang dibuat dengan dua (2) jenis pengguna yaitu tamu (umum) dan admin. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework PHP yang menggunakan pendekatan Model-View-Controller (MVC), yaitu Laravel. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu mengelola data penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat baik dosen maupun mahasiswa yang menjadi penerapan karakteristik Ulul Albab di Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang yang salah satunya adalah konteks keluasan ilmu dalam melakukan penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

For more than a century Muhammadiyah was founded, exactly 106 years ago this organization was born in Yogyakarta. Various manuscripts are currently managed at the Muhammadiyah Corner of the Muhamadiyah University Library in Yogyakarta (UMY), as a preliminary step for the maintenance of digitizing manuscript conservation in an effort to preserve and maintain the authenticity of the manuscript. Conservation is carried out in the Muhammadiyah Corner room so visitors to the Muhammadiyah Corner can watch the process carried out by the librarian at each stage. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the impact of the manuscript conservation process on Muhammadiyah Corner on the written interest of Muhammadiyah cadres who witnessed the conservation process. While the research method uses qualitative methods. The informants used were three people with data processing techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. From the research that has been carried out, it can be produced that manuscript conservation activities have an impact on the interest of Muhammadiyah cadres to write various kinds of works.Keywords: Conservation, Manuscript, Writing Interest

Abstract

ABSTRAKMahasiswa saat ini, terutama dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh selama masa pandemi covid 19 semakin bergantung pada Web untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi mereka dalam perkuliahan. Pada saat yang sama, mahasiswa tanpa disadari kekurangan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diperlukan untuk mengevaluasi kredibilitas aktual informasi sebagai aspek penting dari literasi informasi. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil pengamatan ditemukan bahwa mahasiswa justru sangat jarang menelusur informasi secara online melalui akses database perpustakaan digital, mahasiswa lebih cenderung menggunakan mesin telusur umum dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan sebuah survei online yang dirancang untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara evaluasi kritis informasi online, sebagai unsur penting dari literasi informasi dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini menggambarkan kompetensi literasi informasi mahasiswa ilmu perpustakaan dan informasi yang aktif dalam masa pembelajaran jarak jauh masa pandemi covid 19 pada dua universitas yang berbeda. Secara umum hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya setengah dari jumlah sample yang menerapkan kemampuan literasi informasi selama kuliah daring pada tugas praktikum. Mahasiswa cenderung melakukan pencarian informasi dengan cepat namun belum memanfaatkan strategi pencarian informasi dan sumber informasi yang dipelajari selama mata kuliah Literasi Informasi. Oleh karena itu kemampuan literasi informasi harus tetap dikombinasikan penerapannya pada mata kuliah lain terutama yang ada kuliah praktikum.Kata kunci: Literasi informasi, Literasi media, Pencari informasi Mahasiswa, Elearning, Pendidikan jarak jauh, dan Berpikir kritis.ABSTRACTStudent Today's, especially in distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, increasingly rely on the Web to meet their information needs in lectures. At the same time, students unwittingly lack the critical thinking skills necessary to evaluate the actual credibility of information as an important aspect of information literacy. Furthermore, based on the results of observations, it was found that students rarely searched for information online through access to digital library databases.  students are more likely to use general search engines to fulfill their information needs. This study used an online survey designed to explore the relationship between critical evaluation of online information, as an important element of information literacy in distance learning. This study describes the information literacy competencies of library and information science students who are active in the distance learning period during the COVID-19 pandemic at two different universities. In general, the results of the study show that only half of the sample applies information literacy skills during online lectures on practicum assignments. Students tend to search for information quickly but have not made use of the information retrieval strategies and sources of information learned during the Information Literacy course.  Therefore, information literacy skills must be combined with its application in other subjects, especially those with practicum courses. Keywords: information literacy, media literacy, student information search, e learning, distance education, and critical thinking.

Abstract

Era pandemi Covid-19 yang saat ini tengah melanda berbagai belahan dunia, telah membuat  berbagai sektor lembaga mengalami kecemasan. Hal ini menimbulkan berbagai kekhawatiran yang diperkuat pula dengan berbagai berita yang hadir silih berganti. Beberapa cara menghindari pandemi Covid-19 ini dengan menggunakan masker, selalu mencuci tangan, menggunakan handsanitizier, dan melakukan jaga jarak atau social distancing. Selain hal tersebut, work from home turut menjadi salah satu acuan yang diterapkan pemerintah agar para pegawai bekerja dari rumah. work from home pada akhirnya sampai kepada perpustakaan, yang mana pustakawan tidak dapat datang secara langsung ke perpustakaan untuk bertatap muka, melayani pemustaka secara offline, dan lain sebagainya. Akibat hal ini, perpustakaan harus membuat suatu inovasi layanan dalam rangka tetap melakukan penyebaran informasi dan pelayanan yang biasa dilakukan secara offline. Terlebih pada perpustakaan perguruan tinggi yang melayani berbagai macam mahasiswa, dosen dan lain sebagainya. Layanan yang semula bersifat offline, kini mulai berubah menjadi layanan daring sehingga perpustakaan tetap dapat melayani para pemustaka tanpa perlu bertatap muka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui inovasi layanan apa saja yang diberikan perpustakaan perguruan tinggi selama era pandemi Covid-19 ini berlangsung, terutama pada perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta dan UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan studi kepustakaan (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga perpustakaan perguruan tinggi ini melakukan inovasi layanan agar dapat digunakan secara daring oleh para pemustaka. sehingga mareka dapat mengakses koleksi perpustakaan kapan dan dimana saja.  Memanfaatkan media sosial seperti Instagram perpustakaan memberikan informasi-informasi mengenai layanan mereka kepada pemustaka sehingga pemustaka tidak perlu khawatir ketinggalan informasi. Mereka hanya perlu untuk melihat feed yang diberikan oleh perpustakaan secara Up To Date.

Abstract

AbstractPersonal Digital Archive is one of the important things in daily life, as the purpose of preserving private archives that are mostly produced in digital form. However, some people  tend not to consider it so important, sometimes they end up with missing, corrupted, and inaccessible personal files in that digital form. There will be so many benefits of the private archive preservation in the long term. Good personal digital archive management has a very significant impact on a person, even after the death of that person. This may be useful for future research or inheritance for families after the death. This paper discusses views on how important to manage personal digital archiving in daily life, as well as guidance on how to do personal digital archiving  as a good effort of preservation of personal digital archive for long period of time. It is an easy thing to collect personal digital content, but it will take a lot of time to manage it. The average person can collect hundreds of thousands of emails, digital photos, text messages, audio visual recordings, and other digital files in a lifetime. If the file is not properly managed, it will be difficult to find, identify, and access the content in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see trends in Covid-19 studies related to the field of information science and literature published by domestic and foreign researchers. Using the literature study method by searching indexed documents on the portals of Google Scholar, GARUDA, ResearchGate and Sinta. This research found 34 scientific articles on the theme of Covid-19 related to the fields of information science and literature. 10 countries publish and publish overseas researchers. There are 7 topics studied, including library services and innovation in the Covid-19 era, librarians, librarian hopes for the Covid-19 period, virtual and literacy, Covid-19 information on library sites, library policies for Covid-19 and the future of libraries after Covid-19. In this study it can be ignored (1) there are not many fields of Information Science and libraries related to Covid-19, when compared to the disciplines of education, law and health. (2) Not all countries in the world have checked it. (3) Of the many domestic scientific journals in the field of Information Science and libraries, only 13 journals have published them. (3) Some domestic researchers conducted field studies and literature studies were more dominant. (4) On average, domestic researchers review library services. Interestingly, the services discussed were limited to university libraries and none of them studied school libraries.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the level of obsolescence of a literature and determine the author's productivity with the law of lotka in the literature on entrepreneurship in 2015-2019. The research method used is quantitative research methods by conducting citation analysis. In analyzing data, data is collected, submitted, processed and then presented in tables and graphs. The result of the research is the obsolescence level of the literature with an article entitled "The Effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Performance with Service Quality, Satisfaction and Behavior Intention as Antecedents" with the obsolescence of literature and half-life of the last 17 years. And the shortest time for literature obsolescence is only 5 years, the article is entitled: "The Effect of Using Cooperative Learning Type Think-Pair-Share (Tps) on Entrepreneurship Learning Outcomes of Class X Students of Even Semester SMP Kartikatama 1 Metro T.P 2015/2016". Then for the calculation of authors who are often cited, namely I Ghozali, Singh, Sangeeta, Wafa, S.A and Suharti L. Each of the authors of the articles is the writer with the second rank on the subject of entrepreneurship. Most of the writers produce one article. The most productive writer produced 4 articles and got first place, namely Wiliams, then Muhammad Hassan and Berry L were in second place by producing 2 articles in the 2015-2019 period while the third rank was occupied by authors who produced 1 article in the 2015-2019 period, namely as many as 156 authors. Based on the test of Lotka's law on Entrepreneurship articles, it has an exponential value of (n) 3.7537, with the set (C) 0.9127 or 91.27%. From the graph it can be seen that there is a relationship between the number of authors and the number of articles produced as in the lotka law. The fewer the number of writers, the more articles are produced.

Abstract

Perubahan layanan perpustakaan di masa pandemi COVID-19 ini membutuhkan perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga membuat kebijakan baru agar tetap dapat memberikan layanan yang maksimal terhadap pemustaka. Seperti halnya jaringan layanan, yang mana yang biasanya mengharuskan pemustaka datang ke perpustakaan untuk dapat melakukan peminjaman dan ada koleksi perpustakaan, berubah menjadi layanan online atau jarak jauh. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan pada sirkulasi di Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini adalah Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta mengeluarkan dua kali tahapan kebijakan fase darurat yang berbeda.

Abstract

Perpustakaan adalah unit kerja yang mengolah, menyimpan, melestarikan dan menyebarluaskan informasi kepada pemustaka (pengguna perpustakaan). Perpustakaan sebagai jantungnya Perguruan Tinggi memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang proses belajar mengajar. Dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan beberapa Perguruan Tinggi sudah menggunakan sistem informasi manajemen perpustakaan, termasuk perpustakaan Universitas Andalas. Metode yang digunakan kualitatif deskriptif dan menggunakan data sekunder dan wawancara dengan salah satu pustakawan Universitas Andalas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan Universitas Andalas sudah menerapkan sistem infromasi manajemen perpustakaan. Penerapan yang dilakukan mulai dari proses meminjam hingga proses pengembalian buku sudah menerapkan sistem informasi manajemen perpustakaan. Simpulan: Penerapan sistem informasi manajemen perpustakaan pada Universitas Andalas sudah diterapkan dengan baik dengan fasilitas yang memadai.
