Abstract

Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi memiliki peranana penting bagi civitas akademika, oleh karena itu sangatlah dibutuhkan tersedianya berbagai koleksi, sarana prasarana yang memadai untuk para penggunanya. Perpustakaan harus selalu melibatkan peran serta penggunanya untuk peningkatan kualitas pelayanan. Kualitas layanan yang baik dan dapat memuaskan akan berdampak pada loyalitas pengguna, kepuasan pengguna, begitu juga sebaliknya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni LibQual+TM yang merupakan metode khusus untuk mengukur kualitas layanan perpustakaan berdasarkan kepuasan pemustaka. Pada metode ini terdapat dimensi kualitas layanan yakni service affect, information control serta library as place. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari ketiga dimensi yang ada, dimensi information control merupakan dimensi yang mendapatkan skor terendah, oleh karena itu pihak perpustakaan dapat lebih memperhatikan serta meningkatkan layanan berdasarkan dimensi ini agar kualitas layanan yang ada semakin baik dan dapat menjadikan pemustaka merasa sangat puas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas layanan yang ada di Perpustakaan Universitas Sari Mutiara Indonesia sudah masuk kategori baik (zone of tolerance) dan pemustaka sudah merasa cukup puas, yang artinya layanan yang ada sudah dapat memenuhi harapan minimum pemustaka. Abstract

Perpustakaan telah mengalami perkembangan dalam bidang pelayanan hingga pengolahan, perkembangan yang terjadi tidak hanya pada perpustakaan perguruan tinggi namun juga di perpustakaan sekolah. Pada penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengembangan sebuah sistem automasi perpustakaan sekolah untuk dapat diterapkan dan dimanfaatkan secara berkelanjutan di perpustakaan sekolah UPT SMP 1 Gandusari. Menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development, dengan proses pengembangan software model waterfall serta penerapan aplikasi SLiMS sebagai sistem automasi, penelitian ini memiliki langkah-langkah penelitian sebagai berikut, analisa kebutuhan sistem, desain sistem, implementasi sistem dan terakhir pengujian serta evaluasi sistem. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi awal untuk diterapkannya sebuah teknologi dalam dunia perpustakaan di sekolah. Teknik analisis data menggunakan sampel penelitian dari siswa, guru dan pengembang desain web. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa adanya sistem automasi perpustakaan sangat memudahkan dan menunjang kegiatan bagi staf perpustakaan dan pemustaka dalam memanfaatkan fasilitas, pengelolaan, dan pelayanan yang ada di perpustakaan sekolah. Akan tetapi masih banyak aspek yang harus dipenuhi seperti melakukan peningkatan pada komponen komputer sebagai penunjang kegiatan automasi, pembekalan untuk staf perpustakaan mengenai tata cara pengoperasian aplikasi, serta kecepatan internet yang terhubung di perpustakaan

Abstract

This research aims to knowing the marketing activities carried out by the Museum Multatuli, Kecamatan Rangkasbitung, Kabupaten Lebak, Banten. The method used in making this article is a research method or a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. Meanwhile, the data collection technique used is a combined technique, which combines in-depth interview data collection techniques and literature study data collection techniques. The results showed that marketing activities carried out by the Museum Multatuli include publications through social media, media identities in the form of logos and taglines, events or events, news through the media, community service activities, sponsorships, speeches, and marketing through the pick-up system.Keyword: Information Marketing, Museum Marketing, Museum PromotionAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kegiatan pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Museum Multatuli, Kecamatan Rangkasbitung, Kabupaten Lebak, Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan artikel ini adalah metode penelitian atau pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Abstract

Twitter is one of the social media that is favored by various groups, Twitter itself can display information in the form of textual information which can be supplemented with videos or images. This study will discuss how to crawl data on Twitter social media, using the Rapidminer application, 10000 data can be retrieved in one operation. This study aims to provide knowledge about how to use Rapidminer programming to obtain data that can later be processed for purposes related to information science. The results of this study are to show how to collect data on Twitter social media quickly using text mining.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has now been running for about 3 years, many community activities are spent at home, bringing new habit patterns for them. One of them is shopping online, since the time of the pandemic people are very accustomed to online shopping patterns. The solution to be able to provide advice on the consumption patterns of consumptive citizens is the introduction of financial literacy, especially through education programs and training on saving habits. This study aims to describe the financial literacy of housewives so that consumer activities can be controlled. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive, the location of this research is at Plandaan Village, Kedungwaru District, Tulungagung Regency. To determine the sample using a non-random sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The total respondents in this study were 50 housewives. Result of this study shows that housewives have a good general knowledge of personal finance, and have sufficient Savings, Loans, and Investments.  Many housewives have funds for emergency needs, so they don't experience confusion when something sudden happens.

Abstract

This research was conducted to obtain information about the effectiveness of using the SLIMS-based library automation system by librarians at the Tanah Datar District Public Library and to identify the obstacles encountered in its use. In this study, descriptive research was combined with a qualitative approach using the SLIMS-based library automation system by librarians at the Tanah Datar District Public Library and to identify the obstacles encountered in its use. In this study, descriptive research was combined with a qualitative approach. Based on research findings, the effectiveness of using the SLIMS-based library automation system at the Tanah Datar District Public Library in various forms of library activities includes the procurement and processing of library materials, fast circulation processes, and librarian satisfaction with the use of the SLIMS-based library automation system. Based on indicators measuring the effectiveness of implementing the SLIMS-based library automation system, such as data security, time, accuracy, relevance, variety of reports, physical comfort, information quality, and information technology, it is proven that, after using the SLIMS-based library automation system, library management and services to users as a whole run more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the urgency of the information literacy class for students at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Gombong library. The development of information technology is no longer evolving, but it has become a mighty information revolution. For that, it takes the ability to filter out all the available information. The library is a provider and manager as well as an information ride, so librarians play an important role in providing information search guidance needed by librarians or students, the research method used a qualitative descriptive method by examining in depth a problem. The Collected data Techniques were interviews and literature studies. Interviews are conducted with student respondents, lecturers, and librarians. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that students need assistance and guidance in doing information literacy, so it needs to be held or held in an information literacy class. It is an effort of the library in providing information literacy services. The library in collaboration with the study program requires students to attend classroom literacy lectures. In this information literacy activity, the theme delivered adjusts to the needs of students, literacy themes that have been carried out include:1} e-journal search 2) Mendeley reference management, 3) plagiarism and 4) online presentation media.

Abstract

AbstractSocial skills of library managers have an important role in increasing the interest of visitors in a library. With good social skills, it can lead to good library services in the eyes of the public so that it can increase interest in visiting the library. Therefore, library managers need to pay attention to this. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence between the social skills of library managers on the visiting interest of library users in the library of SMA Negeri 1 Kertosono Nganjuk Regency. The statistical tool used is SPSS version 20. The research approach and method used is to use explanatory quantitative which has 2 variables, namely variable X (social skills) and variable Y (visiting interest). The number of respondent samples used was 92 out of 1,152 library population whose sampling was determined using stratified random sampling. Then to test the hypothesis is to apply simple linear regression test analysis techniques obtained results using anova that = 36.072 3.10 with significance = 0.000 0.05. So the social skill variable has a significant and positive influence on the interest in visiting the library.Keywords : Social Skill, Visiting Interest, Library Manager AbstrakSocial skill pengelola perpustakaan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan minat kunjung pemustaka di sebuah perpustakaan. Dengan adanya social skill yang baik dapat memunculkan layanan perpustakaan yang baik di mata publik sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat kunjung perpustakaan. Oleh karena itu pengelola perpustakaan perlu memperhatikan hal tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara social skill pengelola perpustakaan terhadap minat kunjung pemustaka di perpustakaan SMA Negeri 1 Kertosono Kabupaten Nganjuk. Perangkat statistik yang digunakan ialah SPSS versi 20. Pendekatan dan metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah dengan menggunakan kuantitatif eksplanatif yang memiliki 2 variabel, yaitu variabel X (social skill) dan variabel Y (minat kunjung). Jumlah sampel responden yang digunakan sebanyak 92 dari 1.152 populasi pemustaka yang penentuan sampelnya menggunakan stratified random sampling. Lalu untuk menguji hipotesisnya ialah dengan menerapkan teknik analisis uji regresi linier sederhana diperoleh hasil menggunakan anova bahwa = 36.072 3,10 dengan signifikansi = 0.000 0,05. Jadi variabel social skill memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap minat kunjung pemustaka. Kata Kunci : Social Skill, Minat Kunjung, Pengelola Perpustakaan

Abstract

Minat baca masyarakat yang rendah menunjukkan tingkat literasinya juga rendah. Upaya untuk mengatasi minat baca yang rendah adalah dengan penyelenggaraan Taman Bacaan Masyarakat. Tersedianya koleksi bahan bacaan di TBM menjadi komponen penting dalam penyelenggaraan TBM. Tujuan penelitian: untuk mengetahui hubungan koleksi bahan bacaan dengan minat baca pada anak di TBM Bina Kreasi Muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan pengambilan sampling menggunakan convenience sampling (n=35). Sedangkan metode analisis data menggunakan Chi-square untuk analisis data nominal. Hasil dan pembahasan: pada α = 0.1 dengan diketahui Chi-square hitung = 5.92 dan df = 2 diperoleh hubungan signifikan antara koleksi berbasis kebutuhan dengan minat baca anak. Diketahui Chi-square hitung = 4.11 dan df = 1 diperoleh hubungan signifikan antara keberagaman koleksi dengan kegemaran membaca pada anak. Diketahui Chi-square hitung = 3.20 dan df = 1 diperoleh hubungan signifikan antara ketersediaan koleksi fiksi dengan inisiatif membaca pada anak. Diketahui Chi-square hitung = 3.47 dan df = 1 diperoleh hubungan signifikan antara . ketertarikan anak pada koleksi dengan penggunaan gadget. Diketahui Chi-square hitung = 2.19 dan df = 1 diperoleh hubungan non-signifikan antara koleksi bahan bacaan dengan frekuensi membaca anak. Kesimpulan: menyediakan koleksi beragam sesuai kebutuhan anak seperti koleksi fiksi dapat mempengaruhi inisiatif dan minat baca sehingga tumbuh kegemaran membaca dalam diri anak.

Abstract

The main problem in this thesis is the existence of obstacles encountered in information retrieval by users using the INLISLite software at the Payakumbuh City Library and Archives Service. The purpose of this study was to find out how to optimize information retrieval facilities in the information retrieval process by users at the Payakumbuh City Library and Archives Service. This type of research is a mixed methods method with a descriptive approach and a type of field research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques start from data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Guarantee the validity of the data in this study using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study show that (1) the performance and system coverage of the INLISLite software in the information retrieval process are good. The ability of the INLISLite software to find only the information needed is good, this result can be seen from the search results using the recall formula and the search results table which shows that the relevance of the documents found is 100% and fully relevant. The time needed by the INLISLite software to find the required information is fast. The average search time is 3.83 seconds. (2) Constraints in optimizing INLISLite software in information retrieval at Archives, namely the INLISLite software, especially the OPAC feature which can only be accessed using a special computer that has been provided and can also use a mobile phone but must log into the Payakumbuh City Library and Archive Service wifi.
