Abstract

The tied woven-cloth is part of variety culture as cultural Nusantara heritage have to be preserved because can enrich typical Indonesian with motives and pattern which the various variety .The difference to its geographic location consisting of some of the islands resulting in our range of a kind of cloth and variety of the decoration . In Sikka district still saved a lot of products that are already known by the public or by the outer provinces, one of which is a woven-cloth binding . Wololora already known as tied woven-cloth producing areas, ranging from silk to weaving. Natural silk industry in the Wololora village, cultivated with silk thread as a sarong . The tied woven-cloth craftsmanship Maumere people in the Wololora village only done by women and people former times they make cloth woven connective by the use of basic cotton .Whereas now they products using materials from the factory . the tied woven-cloth craftsmanship Maumere in Wololora village market has resulted in them, most the tied woven-cloth was used in order to marriage and others. Weaving has become a philosophy of life for women in the Wololora village. Indeed , the women weavers , not only weave a piece of cloth with a sale value economically , but they also compose and weave motifs of history, culture, values of life, village identity, moral and social, as well as their distinctiveness as women. Abstract

The existence of skateboarding in Indonesia was developed very fast, we cansee it from government’s support in every city to give the good facilities. But thatthings not happen in Manado City which has a lots of skateboard’s communitiesbut unfortunately there are no supporting facilities. This community has the mostimportant role in order to keeps the existence and the development ofskateboarding in Manado. This community also has a lots of factor to supportskateboarding’s development in Manado City. Therefore, the existance is animportant thing in order to keeps the community alive.The aim of this research is to know the using of this group to keeps theirexsitance, and also to know what kind of interference and supporting factor thatcommunity faced. This explorative qualitative research is using two data source,primary data and secondary data. Data collecting tech are using interview,observation, and documentation source. Master data source is using byinterviewing some senior’s member and junior’s member of Manado CitySkateboarding community, and with using participation observation.In order to keeps their existence, this community with unformal waydeciding and planning some element that can support. The next step isimplementation based on how to do their already plan. The working system of thisManado City Skateboarding community is flow with what they are to be withoutcaring for the formal vision and mission. On that implementation, this communityalso face some interference which come from inside or outside that they can solvebecause of the supporting factor from each member. Strategy that they use inorder to keeps their existence is pretty success. We can see it from the length ofthis community and also from the positive response that given from some personoutside the community.Keywords : community, skateboard, exsitance

Abstract

Social media presence and the sophistication of information technologies are indeed often referred to as a symbol of the progress of human thinking. Without conscious media has brought logging to the new cultural patterns and begin to determine the mindset and behaviour in society. Surely media in social life is not simply a means of diversion, a tension reliever or entertainment, but the content and the information presented, has a significant role in the process of social change. Changes in the pattern of behavior is most noticeably is the aspect of lifestyle and this aspect is most visible in the environment of the young generation in particular Sam Ratulangi University students.This research used the qualitative method, a method of describing a phenomenon in accordance with the topics researched. Qualitative research or often called naturalistic research, i.e., the methods used to examine the conditions of natural objects (as his opponent is an experiment) where researchers is a key instrument.Felt the presence of the student lifestyle changes which often have wasted time and the increasing number of negative content are popping up in social media. Along with the development of the era, the use of the internet is getting sued. As a result it is now more and more social media types that are used by the student. For example, namely Facebook, Line, Path, Whatsapp and Instagram. It all goes back to a personal, how can one addressing the development of current media and know the positioning of the function of social media according to existing rules and conditions are primarily college students because the students had said when someone means already in top students, he should be able to tell which is a good thing to do and not do. Abstract

Fishermen who catch a shark can be categorized as a profession that requires special courage and skill. Because sharks are relatively harmless species of fish, sharks have a habit of attacking a fishermen. It's no exaggeration when among fellow fishermen, shark fishers not be underestimated. Both in terms of their courage to conquer the dangerous sharks as fish species, as well as in terms of economical, considering selling shark fin is quite high compared to other fish species. Distances that must be taken into Tahuna where the fish can be sold, make fisherman from Kawaluso village decide to selling fish at Matutuang island. But at the island of Matutuang, other types of fish less than Shark demand by buyers. Instead, shark have more value from the view of the buyer. Philippine ships almost every day at the island of Matutuang to bought sharks in large numbers. This is the main reason why the fishermen in the village of Kawaluso caught a shark. Abstract

The problem of juvenile delinquency to date can be said to have been a social problem to be faced by governments, communities and families. The reason is because the levels of adolescent delinquency lately often occur already leading to criminal action, even has been troubling the wider community.In the village of West Kombos the problem of delinquency teenagers is already a social problem, which often disrupts the public tranquility. There are various things that have led to the increase of juvenile delinquency in the region, among others, due to the lack of supportive environmental factors among many teenage children in the region who have dropped out of school so that due to poor conditions Environment, thus triggering the level of juvenile delinquency. This environmental problem also determines social polarization for adolescentsMany facts prove that there is a correlation between their criminality and other behavioral deviations; such as juvenile crimes combined with alcoholism, narcotics, radicalism, neurosis, psychopathic, promiscuity, and others. Thus a teenager who develops a habit of sociopathic behavior, usually potentially easily develops abnormal forms of behavior and other delinquent is driven by poor social stimuli or influenced by an evil social environment.The problem of juvenile delinquency in the village of West Kombos district of Singkil Manado has led to the form of social irregularities, as well as violating social norms and legal norms.Keywords: teenager, delinquent, behavior

Abstract

Parenting parents are very influential in the development of the Child's personality. The issue of child care is something that is very important because this is where the real beginning of the character forming for a person's behavior in adult life. This study aims to determine how the parents' perceptions of the value of success according to the Javanese culture (dadi wong) and how the Javanese culture is reflected in the socialization process parenting parents of children in the care of the family. Qualitative research is centered on five (5) families of the village community in Wanea and done purposively. This observation began November 2014. The analysis shows that; parents consider that the concept of dadi wong should be based on several aspects such as economic aspects regarding the loading of economic independence, have a steady income, the cultural aspects of the position, rank and status, family, education, social gatherings and on the principle of expediency for others, psychological aspects relating to self psychologically, becoming a strong personal and about the principle of happiness, as well as moral-religious aspects concerning the moral good, air-etiquette, adherence to religious teachings. Some of them are still can found a means traditional transportation of Becak in several regions of general and especially the Makassar City. For the past few years little by little the number of Becak began to unravel, because literally irreplaceable with a vehicle which is much more modern and fast. Becak drivers is a livelihoods just have to rely on physical force. Paddling are is not a matter easy and is done daily from morning to afternoon sometimes into the evening. But, they realized just a job this is what they can do to support their families. Fulfill their needs is felt difficult by a few people if what they produced from his job not in accordance with the need to be. Therefore they must be able to prioritise what has been need or just a desire. The becak drivers only a few comes from the town of Makassar most are from regional the province of south sulawesi, as Jeneponto, Gowa, Maros, Pangkep, etc. One of the reasons they work as becak drivers is because apart from people interested transportations service of becak there are still, the job is also one of the that does not require the level of education high or did not even need to seek the education formal. The women managers of small businesses in the Sub District of south Wenang very significant in supporting the economic life of the family. It can be seen from the two roles are performed simultaneously in their household: the role of domenstic and public roles. Domenstic role as a housewife as cooking, child care, washing, etc, while the women in the family also had to run a public role breadwinner by working with open and manage a small business in their home to supplement the family income. Beside that, they also have the ability to manage finances drawing this sufficient financial businesses and families, so that they can continue to run the business and family needs can be overcome. Abstract

The marriage of an important transition in the life of man, namely the transition from teenage level towards the level of family life. Undeniable that marriage is an instinctive need for every living being. The transition in life are usually characterized by the presence of religious ceremonies to support the marriage process. Every wedding ceremony that's so important both for those concerned as well as for members of the kinship of both parties.A series of organizing the process of marriage particularly Morotai Sangowo community consists of several stages, ranging from the proposal to the marriage taking place. A normal marriage are usually preceded by the time of the engagement/promise of connective between the men with the woman the length of about one year. Then proceed with the wedding or the inauguration.The culture of marriage and the rules applicable to the community Sangowo that is inseparable from the influences and its environment. Where the community is located as well as the guidelines of the society, influenced by the knowledge, experiences, religious beliefs and embraced by the community Sangowo itself.The custom of marriage Sangowo is a regional cultural heritage of their predecessors who have cultural values and must be preserved and conserved but customs and cultures that how they should preserve and they preserve.
