Abstract

PT. Logix System Technology is a foreign investment company (PMA) that performs software implementation and software development in manufacturing industry. According to the number of staffs, this company is categorized as a small company. The company has been finding problems in delivering product to customers. Management wants to improve performance of the delivery process and solve the problems by adopting Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).The implemetation of CMMI for PT. Logix System Technology is the theme of this research. Products of the research are weaknesses in current running processes of PT. Logix System Technology and their recommended solutions according to CMMI guide. To achieve the desired results, this research has been conducted the following steps: literature studies, data collection by means of direct interview, and analysis. Continuous representation model and CMMI Roadmap have been selected. Assessment was performed by applying appraisal steps in Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) C. The results are lists of weaknesses of the current running process and their recommended solutions according to CMMI. These results can be used by PT. Logix System Technology to improve their processes.

Abstract

XYZ company is a manufacturing company which engages in the field of computer peripheral. Information system in this company are not yet integrated with each other which is computerized. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a system that is built to unite all departments and functions that exist in a company into an integrated system. In the ERP contained a particular module which regulate and control the flow of goods, energy, information and other resources such as products, services, and people from the source of production to the market namely the logistics. The logistics also includes the integration of information, transportation, inventory, and warehousing. The purpose of this research is to produce a prototype design of the logistics delivery system implementation in manufacturing companies using Netbeans 8.0 software with the Java programming language and MySQL database. The method used is a model rapid prototyping is the development model by testing against a  working model of an application through the interaction process to meet the needs of users. The results from this research is a prototype design of the logistics delivery system in order to allow a user to see the flow of freight.

Abstract

Scrum is an agile framework designed for simplicity to produce software incrementally and iteratively involving collaboration between a team of developers and consumers. PT. XYZ has implemented Scrum since 2012, but there are problems in the implementation that projects dont achieve the time target of software development timeline. This research examines the maturity level of project management of software development that implement Scrum frameworks with quantitative research methodology using Scrum Maturity Model. Data were collected through questionnaires to the Scrum Master on software development projects that have implemented Scrum work. The conclusion from this research is PT. XYZ reached maturity level 2 Scrum Maturity Model. Recommendations for improvement are given to improve processes to achieve maturity level 3, 4, and 5

Abstract

Tunjung Teja currently does not have information system to manage and documentation for population data and potential data. By the aim of assisting the Tunjung teja in building information system to manage and documentation the demographic data and potential of the village then made a prototype information system of population data and potential village-based website. The method used in make the prototype of village information system is using Scrum method and designed using Unified Modelling Language (UML) modeling language. In this research, the prototype of village-based information system containing village profile, village potency, family card data and poverty data of Tunjung Teja are expected to assist the village in managing data and providing information about Tunjung Teja.

Abstract

Pengembangan software sejatinya berbeda dengan membuat software, karena ada beberapa kaidah yang harus diikuti untuk menghasilkan solusi berkualitas tinggi. CMMI mencoba membantu para developer untuk mencapai hal ini. Pada framework ini, terdapat proses-proses yang harus dipenuhi agar kualitas solusi yang dihasilkan menjadi tinggi. Untuk mencapai ini, proses dokumentasi sangat diperlukan. Hal ini agak berbeda dengan metodologi Agile Development, dimana ia menitik beratkan pada bagaimana sebuah aplikasi dibuat sedini mungkin,menghasilkan purwarupa (prototype) tanpa harus membuat dokumen pada tiap prosesnya.Tulisan ini berusaha membahas sebuah pendekatan CMMI staged dimana ia digunakan ke dalam salah satu metodologi Agile Development, yaitu Scrum. Permasalahan yang terjadi ketika mengkombinasikan keduanya adalah adanya kesalahan dalam penggunaan, kurangnya informasiyang akurat, dan kesulitan terminologi. Solusi terhadap permasalahan ini dapat dipecahkan melalui tabel mapping dari proses-proses CMMI ke aktivitas Scrum.

Abstract

Abstract:GPA is the average value obtained by the student after completing a stage or a combination of more than one stage of learning outcomes assessment. GPA consists of a semester GPA, grade point average, and the Final Grade. Perstasi index can be calculated for each student in person before the actual results issued by the Campus. GPA calculation is very important to know the approximate value derived from each stage of learning outcomes assessment, so that students can take into account the value that should be obtained to obtain the IP had hoped. Microsoft Excel is a software that one of its functions is as a database. Contained in the Microsoft Excel Macro that can automate existing operator or function in Microsoft Excel. Moreover, in the Microsoft Excel also contained Excel Visual Basic for Application (VBA) that can be used to create application programs. This study examines the stages in the creation of index calculation application perstasi (IP) using Macros and VBA to assist students in performing simulation calculations perstasi index (IP) them.Keywords: GPA, Applications, Macros, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Abstrak:Indeks Prestasi adalah nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh mahasiswa setelah menyelesaikan satu tahapan atau kombinasi lebih dari satu tahapan penilaian hasil belajar. Indeks Prestasi terdiri dari Indeks Prestasi Semester, Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif, dan Indeks Prestasi Akhir. Indeks Perstasi tiap mahasiswa dapat dihitung sendiri sebelum hasil sebenarnya dikeluarkan oleh Kampus. Perhitungan Indeks Prestasi sangatlah penting untuk mengetahui perkiraan nilai yang didapat dari tiap tahapan penilaian hasil belajar, sehingga mahasiswa dapat memperhitungkan nilai yang harus didapat untuk memperoleh IP yang diharapkannya.  Microsoft Excel merupakan software yang salah satu fungsinya adalah sebagai basis data. Di dalam Microsoft Excel terdapat Macro yang dapat mengotomatisasi operator atau fungsi yang ada pada Microsoft Excel. Selain itu, di dalam Microsoft Excel juga terdapat Excel Visual Basic for Application (VBA) yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat program aplikasi. Penelitian ini mengkaji tahapan-tahapan yang dilakukan dalam pembuatan aplikasi perhitungan Indeks Perstasi (IP) menggunakan Macro dan VBA untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam melakukan simulasi perhitungan indeks Perstasi (IP) mereka.Kata kunci: Indeks Perstasi, Aplikasi, Macro, Visual Basic for Application (VBA)

Abstract

One of the developments in information technology that able to yield a positive impact to business continuity is cloud computing technology. That characteristics of cloud computing can be used for the development of information systems that generally used by small and medium scale enterprises. To be able to develop such a system, it is necessary to design appropriate data and architecture in order to meet the characteristics of cloud computing services, especially software as a service (SaaS). The design of data is also expected to adopt the concept of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in order to design a data model that can be used more flexibly. The results obtained are in the form of a design of the system architecture and data modeling database. The database model is divided into two main databases: accounting database and financial database. The design result was met the rules of service oriented architecture and multitenancy of cloud computing software as a service.

Abstract

Information and communication technology (ICT) has evolved. The amount of benefits making ICT as needs as well as the requirements for the organization in running the business. ClinicXYZ is currently experiencing very rapid progress. However, clinical progress brings its own problems. One is the increasing number of vehicles and the growing density of activity in the limited parking lot. XYZ Clinic parking lot currently managed manually, so there are still many problems that arise. Therefore, there are needs for a new system that could be the solution of the existing problems. Parking Information System Clinic XYZ is built using the Java programming language and MySQL. The system can handle the process of managing the parking attendant, parking transactions both in and out of vehicles as well as printing ticket and searching of old transaction data.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and identify the process of new knowledge creation in Information Systems Program at STIMIK ESQ. Identification is conducted by approach of Siemens Maturity Level through observation and interview to 21 informants at STIMIK ESQ. The result of this research is the model of new knowledge creation at program study of Information Systems which is explained in Siemens Maturity Level at repeated level. Although creation of new knowledge is inhibited, but there is knowledge creation in the subject of technopreneurship, which is occurred through experience learning and exploring.
