This journal contains the works of authors and researchers who have competence in their skills. A vision of the journal Raheema is: Realizing the scientific community who have vision, knowledge, awareness, and concern about Gender and Children. While the mission of the journal Raheema is: First, Being the Information Center and the study of science on Gender and Children for all academics and the general public. Second, Making Media Journal Raheema as scientific publications Gender and Child-quality, innovative and competitive locally, nationally, and internationally. Third, to accommodate, to develop the knowledge, insight, and ideas of the author and researcher in the field of Gender and Children. Raheema journal is published twice a year, namely in June and December.

Abstract

Nowadays, the education world challenges a great issue regarding Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT). Thus, parental and formal educations have significant effect to anticipate these problems through early sex education. Furthermore, sex education is an effort performed by parents and teachers to create positive behaviors towards children about sex and gender whether generally or based on Islam point of view. As a result, the goal of sex education is children could avoid – socially and morally – the negative behavior of sexual disorders in the future.

Abstract

The education of akhlaq in the Islamic University basically has suited the purpose of national education, to create the potential of students in order to be a great human. Furthermore, as a part of the national education system, the Islamic University has a significant role to actualize the function and goal of the national education system. Due to that reason, the Islamic Education curriculum implemented in the Islamic University becomes a compulsory subject of the personality development subjects, especially to create the great humankind (which has al-akhlaq al-karimah) based on strong faith and sharia roles.Moreover, the embed noble character among the students of the Islamic University is important. Besides, the Islamic University is the forefront for the citizen and the other higher education institutions to behave and act in the daily life activities. Therefore, the revived efforts by facilitating and supporting the students in the Islamic University in order the noble character could be realized despite their creativity and intelligence.

Abstract

Sexual deviance, sexual abnormality, or sexual violence is behavioral force to gain a sexual pleasure from sexual objects or in a peculiar way. In this context, the sexual deviance is clearly against the humanity and the common sense. This issue would be discussed thoroughly by the writers. Besides, the main focus of this writing is the sexual deviance which is limited by theological, psychological, and Islamic education interpretation.

Abstract

The violence behavior on children is often performed by the closest people of them, such as parents, family, and school environment. There are four categories of violence acts on children: negligence, physical assault, psychological and emotional harassment, and sexual harassment. This paper explores the counseling or the supporting towards the children experiencing the violence behaviors. Furthermore, those behaviors include the types of abuse acts, the causes of violence acts, and the counseling given to the children and family that encounter the violence behaviors.

Abstract

The sophisticated slavery or human trafficking is one of the trans-national crimes that is difficult to eradicate. This crime related to an exploitation of human, physically and psychologically, which is done by perpetrators without looking at the impact in the future. Furthermore, the psychology, social, and health problems, as well the damage of humanity values become the phenomenon which are triggered by human trafficking. For instance, the children trafficking cases, those problems rise and cause the trauma that is patched on their life. Besides, at the very young ages, they experience such horrible problems related to trafficking. Thus, the psychological guidance and counseling for children as victims of trafficking is really necessary. This action could be done in continuity and well-planned manner, that it could be restore their confidence after being the victims. Moreover, this companion program is performed in order to heal the trauma. Therefore, it could be a motivation for the victims to live their better life in the future.

Abstract

One of the moral decadencies within societies is woman trafficking. In the past Greek ancient, women were considered as low-rank and disgusting creatures. The conservative perspective had continued in the Europe for decades, that it was being reversed after renaissance in England and aufklarung in Germany. At that moment, women had similar position with men. Meanwhile, in the Arab world before Islam came, women had been acknowledged as poor and ashamed people that should work as men’s servant. Thus, before having converted to Islam, Umar bin Khattab had buried his own daughter alive. Furthermore, the similar facts occured in some countries included Indonesia. In Indonesia, especially, before being freed from the colonial, women had only works as servant, kitchen keeper, and could not study. Moreover, after colonialism, women have different destiny, they become more indepence and professional, even there is still an exploitation within women these days.

Abstract

Every born child should have adequate nurture and care in terms of security, safety, wealth, and education. The parents’ responsibilities, even, are not only feeding meals, giving the security, giving the happiness, and so on, but also more than those things. Furthermore, the responsibility of caring the children relates to presenting them spiritual and religious values in life. That is the reason, moreover, why children are the gifts of God and very precious, even their values could not be retrieved by money, power, or magnificent palaces. The children’s existence for parents is somehow could not be resisted; they are gifts, generations, and investments for parents. Thus, one of the marriage goals is to gain incredible children; that children are being exploited to be workers saddens every parent in the world, in fact.

Abstract

Human trafficking has become a global issue that caught attention of many countries and also this crime has been included as heavy violations of human rights. The Developing countries like Indonesia often become the targets of criminal practices-based on human trafficking. Diverse modes have done which is throught the distribution of labour abroad. Women and children are the most listed as victims of human trafficking with the exploitation purpose. The border area has become a transit point for the distribution of workforce is either legal or illegal so the border is become a vulnerable area of human trafficking practices. In west Kalimantan particularly in Sambas Regency, the current transitions of ilegal labour to Malaysia is an usual and they not aware has a victims of human trafficking. This study attempt to describe and analysis the phenomenon of trafficking in person with mode of lobor distribution especially the case infemale worker (TKW) in Sambas Regency throught qualitative approach of techniques of observation and interview limited and also literature review.

Abstract

Human trafficking has globally become the problems which is passed through border area in some countries. The crime does not merely have an impact on social aspects, but also on other aspects such as politics, social, and culture. Therefore, no wonder that the human trafficking case is on the top five of hugest crimes in the world. Then, it is really difficult to wipe out. Furthermore, the efforts to eradicate human trafficking have been undertaken on many ways. One of them is to enforce the strict laws for perpetrators. Nevertheless, this action has been considered ineffective to lessen the human trafficking case, even for some cases, this crime develops more. Moreover, the new model of slavery is still occured and has an effect on Human Rights cases. Therefore, peer education could be one of alternative solutions to fight for human trafficking. It is one of approaches in education using peer groups to educate and share information related to human trafficking.

Abstract

Human trafficking is one of global problems faced by societies in today digital era. The increasing number of victims and criminals, in quality and quantity, has also influenced the number of problems on human rights, social, economics, health, and laws in many countries within the world. Furthermore, human trafficking is a well-organized crime among countries in the world. Indonesia, especially, which has many citizen is also one of targeted country on trafficking crimes. Moreover, there are so many efforts performed to minimize the number of human trafficking in Indonesia. However, most of them are centered on preventive movement after the crime or when the crime is being done, that could not significantly give an effect to the victims after the crime happened. Therefore, the comprehend solution is needed by giving a life-skill training, in order to provide them an ability to create something and being independent in the future.
