This journal contains the works of authors and researchers who have competence in their skills. A vision of the journal Raheema is: Realizing the scientific community who have vision, knowledge, awareness, and concern about Gender and Children. While the mission of the journal Raheema is: First, Being the Information Center and the study of science on Gender and Children for all academics and the general public. Second, Making Media Journal Raheema as scientific publications Gender and Child-quality, innovative and competitive locally, nationally, and internationally. Third, to accommodate, to develop the knowledge, insight, and ideas of the author and researcher in the field of Gender and Children. Raheema journal is published twice a year, namely in June and December.

Abstract

A child has become a significant object to face many problems, especially social problems which often rise along with the development of this country. The children workers being a problem in Indonesia which is caused by the expanding of industrial markets such as palm oil industry. Moreover, a large number of palm oil plantation in some areas could reach the border is as well. In Sambas regency, for instance, there are so many palm oil industries that entangle children as workers. This research, furthermore, aims to explore and describe the children workers phenomenon in Sambas, West Kalimantan, through the qualitative and quantitative method of the literature study.

Abstract

The emergence of trafficking cases of women is a direct result of the inadequacy of society due to poverty and other causes. The modus operandi of this trade is varied, but the mode of trafficking of women under the pretext of marriage is considered the most dangerous in the case of trafficking in women. Such cases have long been happening and are still growing today. The occurrence of female trafficking cases with the modus operandi of marriage involves intermediaries (brokers) that bring together men with women who are generally low-income (poor) and low-educated families. This paper will discuss what is really the trafficking of women, the factors that influence the occurrence of women's handling with the pretext of marriage, the form of victim protection and prevention efforts that can be done.

Abstract

It is no doubt that the concept of Islamic Education has comprehend theories, even there are always new perspectives about its values. Thus, this writing is conducted to elaborate the concept of Islamic Education in the globalization era. The term of affection (Kasih Sayang) has a functional meaning in Islamic theory, Islam Rahmatan Lil-‘Alamin that is originated from QS. al-Anbiya verse 107 with multiperspective mufassir. The verse on al-Maraghi is translated that Muhammad as a prophet with a holy book which is not only as a guidance, but also a rahmah (affection). Furthermore, the awareness of education as a media of universal awareness should be understood by every educators. Islamic Education, moreover, should present the true values of education, that is “Affection”.

Abstract

Nowadays, women trafficking has become iceberg phenomenon. The women, in fact, have a great level as well as impact in domestic and social life. However, they are always become victims on human trafficking problem. There are so many factors behind; violence exploitation, sex worker, cyber crime, contract marriage, drugs, and so forth. Furthermore, some modus of crimes are about syariah, like umroh, nikah sirri, etc. Therefore, this case is interesting to be researched deeply. How the punishment of the perpretrators with comparative analysis between UU No. 21/2007 tentang TPPO and Hukum Islam. Moreover, from the literature analysis, it is found that the punishment on UU No. 21/2007 tentang TPPO that the women trafficking practice is a crime and shoould be punished by the law fairly.

Abstract

In the traditional society, children who work in domestic sector is obligations were able to be refuted. So that in a rural area which still exists in the customs, sometimes we can found many girls who work at home (domestic sector) and in the field as voluntarily. It is regarded as “children obligation” to help their parents. This research focuses on Desa Cowet, Balai Sub-District, District Sanggau West Kalimantan, in which methods used is the qualitative descriptive approach. The data used was primary data which obtained through technique interview and observation, and secondary data was sourced from the book, scientific journal, and relevant sources. The traditions of community assume that girls required to work in the domestic sector. It is regarded as an obligation to do as the female. Girls help their mother at home or in the fields and rubber. The division of labor based on gender, the female has work more within households. So, girls who work to help their mother will inherit the same work with undertaken by their mother. The construction that girls will inherit a capital work, their perception should be converted.

Abstract

Islamic Education has a great goal to create wonderfu civilization that has intellectual and religious ability based on the aims of Islamic Education itself. Because, without the exact aim of Islamic Education, so the methods used would not be based on Islam itself. Moreover, the Islamic Education aims to guide, create, and develop humans to be Allah’s followers that have incredible beliefs, especially women who are created to be special creatures.

Abstract

The case of trafficking and exploitation on children has become significant problems in Indonesia. The news released by KPAI in 2012, for instance, concluding that the number of trafficking and exploitation on children is slightly high. Furthermore, the police of West Kalimantan has displayed 14 cases of human trafficking and arrested 20 perpretrators from January to September 2016, while some of the victims are children. Moreover, the writer has interviewed some children in Pontianak City that work as maids, polishers, newspaper sellers, street singers, beggars, and so forth, that is caused by economic reason. Besides, the children trafficking and exploitation could be grouped as a humanity crime. Therefore, the writer has an interest to analyse this case related to human rights and Islamic point of view.

Abstract

Human Trafficking is an extraordinary crime which happened in the modern era today. In the origin first time, this crime has been exist in the centuries years ago. In Southeast Asia Human Trafficking fall in transnational crime; which is the offender take action is inter-country. In this paper discussed about Human Trafficking in women which occuring in border area between West Kalimantan, Indonesia and Serawak, Malaysia. Method used in this research is descriptive analysis by collecting data over secondary data from various field such as books, scientific journals, and others. Basically, phenomena trafficking in person on women have occured in the border area West Kalimantan in which not seen like human trafficking cases. Mode of used in this cases is the recruitment to work in household or companies in Malaysia. While actus was done by illegal agent, they are passing through illegal way. The things being factor of the occurrence of trafficking in person is education and poverty experienced by women.

Abstract

The emergence of child labor for various reasons, such as economic, motivation and cultural influences. In addition, children choose, are asked, even to work with classical reasons such as addressing the problem of poverty, the encouragement of the family itself and the environmental influences that have made the children choose to work. The impact of working at an early age greatly endangers the development of children. Dangerous things that could arise and should be accepted children who work together with health, safety, moral and psychological development of children. Because working with long working hours, and low wages, and frequent exploitation because children do not have the opportunity to enjoy education, affection from parents, and playing to enjoy childhood. The concept of maqashid al-Shari'ah is handed down from five things: the strengthening of the religion (ad-din) of the child, the soul (an-naf), the child of reason (al-aql), the offspring (an-nas) malls) for children. If we are especially Muslims back on these five things, then pekeja children of course with many things will be reduced, even abolished. Although child labor can help the family, for the sake of survival, this must continue to remember madaratnya greater than maslahatnya.

Abstract

Human Trafficking, in fact, has been occured before Islamic era, such as slavery that has been practiced for years. It is not a surprise that human trafficking in 20th century is not a new thing. There are so many factors triggered this slavery happened; genetics’ factor, war’s prisoner, poverty, working in others’ land, abduction, vengeance, and so on. Furthermore, slavery itself is not a willingnes, yet a life necessity and compulsion. Moreover, Islam as a universal religion is against the human trafficking badly. In Islam, all of human have similar position in front of Allah SWT, what makes it difference is the beliefs level. Therefore, one of the story in Islamic hostory is to eradicate the slavery on fathwatul makkah.
