<![CDATA[Selection of further study is a problem that is often experienced by students. The inability to make choices of college, department, academic ability, will cause anxiety and anxiety that will make decisions based on the influence of others such as parents, family, and friends. To assist students in understanding the selection of advanced studies appropriate to their interests and talents, there needs to be a career guidance service. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of career guidance services against the election of advanced study of grade XII students. The method used is quantitative research using SPSS 17.0 on simple linear regression test which is used to know the effect of career guidance service on selection of further study. This study used a sample of 120 students of Class XII who were taken by random sampling at Senior High School in Singkawang city. The results showed that the career guidance service gives influence to the students of class XI in determining the selection of further study. From result of linear regression calculation by using SPSS 17.0 application so big influence is 0.098. the conclusion is that any career guidance services provided, will have a positive effect of 0.098 on the ability of students in choosing further studies. Suggestions for students, in order to follow the existing career guidance services in school so that it can assist in determining the decision selection of further study in accordance with the talents, interests and abilities possessed. For teachers of BK, can maximize career guidance services especially related to advanced studies so that students are able to choose and determine the choice of study of interest and in accordance with the ability possessed. The next researcher, this study is expected to be used as a reference and developed.]]>

<![CDATA[Historical, in addition to having auxiliary science in his knowledge, history also establish relationships with other sciences, especially fellow social sciences. In this connection what happens is a relationship of mutual need, herein lies the difference with the concept of science Auxiliary history, where a more dominant history in need of help to uncover a problem, more precisely we can call it with a combination of two social sciences. The development of post-World War II History shows a strong tendency to use the social sciences approach in historical studies. One of the basic ideas is that: the descriptive-narrative history is no longer satisfactory to explain complex problems or symptoms in the event of History. Psychology is very related to mental and psychological human. Humans who become the object of historical study is not just explained about the actions taken and what is caused by the action? why someone does that action? These questions pertain to the psychological condition in question. Conditions that can be caused by stimuli from the outside or the environment, can also from within himself. The use of social phsychology in history, gave birth to the focus of the study of the history of mentality.]]>

<![CDATA[Career planning is the stage that matures the career maturity and career awareness possessed by each individual. Career planning is a form of ability that must be improved in the individual to facilitate every stage of the career to be traversed. Career planning includes three indicators consisting of attitudes, abilities and involvement. This study focuses on aspects of engagement that build career planning skills. The main purpose of this research is to test the effectiveness of symbolic modeling technique in improving the involvement aspect of career planning ability of the learner. The research method used is pre-experimental design. The subjects of the study were students of Class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kalitidu Bojonegoro academic year 2016/2017. Data were collected through an instrument of engagement aspect in career planning. Technique of data analysis use t test to compare value of pre test and post test. The results showed: (1) the largest frequency of career planning level of learners are in the less able categories; and (2) the technique of symbolic modeling effectively improves the career planning of learners.]]>

<![CDATA[Thesis is a final project that is quite scary for most students in Indonesia. In the process of compilation, students often do things that are non-productive, such as procrastination and avoid supervisor. Sometimes, excessive academic anxiety of this thesis can lead students to do things beyond common sense, namely suicide. If examined in more depth based on counseling approach Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), academic anxiety to the thesis experienced by students is a cognitive distortion caused by maladaptive core beliefs. Therefore, students who experience it need to get help so that their core beliefs can be more adaptive again. Based on the latest research results, integration of CBT counseling with more modern techniques of music therapy has proved effective in reducing academic anxiety and improving self-efficacy of thesis students. Thus, through this conceptual study, it is hoped that counselors in Indonesia will be able to understand, practice and conduct further research on CBT counseling interventions integrated with music therapy.]]>

<![CDATA[This Study aims to determine the extent to which the application of the Contextual learning model through the material explains the process of development of Western Colonialism and Imperialism in Indonesia in Class XI IPA on 1 Christian High School in Saparua island. Method of study is School Actian Research by using descriptive qualitative approach. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) type is carried out with a three cycle strategy. In cycles 1 and 2 the results of supervision have not achieved the desired targets such as, the implementation of an innovative activities in learning process, learning tool or media, the suitable technique in applying the History materials. From the results of the learning action on cycle III, it was revealed that the improvement of the results of students’achievement of History subject through Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) were increased. For the average value in cycle III was 78.2 or increased of 11.35% compared to the average value of cycle II. We can concluded that based on the result observation shown that there was enough significant in improving on students’ scors result. For the History subject teachers that should adopt the CTL method concept with an expert team approach to applied the materials in classroom activities have to consider the basic competencies, content of materials, student characteristics]]>

<![CDATA[This is a research of school activity that survey the Civics teachers performance to improve an best optimum learning achievement and school quality that was expected in the curriculum. Method of study is School Actian Research by using descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted in three cycles or stages in Civics (PKN) teachers on Christian High School 1Saparua. This study were founding that on cycles 1 and 2 the results of supervision have not achieved the desired targets such as guidance, the implementation of innovative learning, learning media, the suitable method, a systematic assessment of all phases of the learning process . Principal Supervision on instructional of Civics teacher in the third cycle is very good based on the results of the supervision recapitulation with the ideal score achievement with quantitative assessment with figures 91.62 which are categorized very well. It was clearly see that an increase in the performance of teachers and curriculum officers of coordinating worked. The students are better prepared to face the teaching and learning process. Individual meetings in the third cycle were meeting, conversation, dialogue, and brainstorming between the principal or supervisor, the teacher and his colleagues, and also teachers' professional skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Adolescence is a time of self-discovery, one of the efforts made to achieve the identity of teenagers can be pursued with the achievement of a mature relationship with peers. Teenagers spend more time with their peers. Peer execution is very urgent in determining attitudes and behavior, as teenagers strive to be free from family and not dependent on their parents, so that any problems they face will be more likely to share the problem with their peers. Peer counseling is an activity of mutual care and interpersonal mutual assistance among fellow students that take place in everyday life, using active listening skills and problem-solving skills in equal position among peers. In SMA 1 Sungayang some students have attended peer counseling, one time, twice or even four times in peer counseling. This study aims to reveal the level of student motivation in following peer counseling. This research uses quantitative descriptive method, with 76 research sample students. Data obtained through questionnaire, then continued with interpretation of data or process of interpreting data. The results of this study revealed that the motivation of students to follow peer counseling activities belong to the high category.]]>
