Abstract

The Internet in government gives positive influence to performance in support of good governance. Lowokwaru sub-district site as reference's society in getting all information, so this site must be able to present of professional sites and good quality be based on user's perception by conducting an evaluation. Evaluation of the site using WebQual 4.0 and Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) method. The WebQual 4.0 as questionnaire have three dimension like usability, information quality, and quality of interaction. While IPA as analysis of the level suitability, gap analysis, and analysis of quadrant. The result from evaluation that the quality has a suitability of 99.43% which the respondent felt approaching satisfaction with the sites service. The result of gap analysis is -0.026, which respondent felt that quality of performance is low and can not meet the importance. On quadrant analysis show one attribute on the first quadrant, twelve attributes on the second quadrant, eight attributes in the third quadrant, one attribute on the fourth quadrant.

Abstract

Signature recognition is important for signature verification process. One of the signature recognition method is implementation Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) for signature recognition with additional method of features extraction using Scale Invariant Features Transform (SIFT). In the train process, this research used some features such as maximum of black pixel in horizontal and vertical histogram, center of mass, normalized area of signature, aspect ratio, tri surface feature, the Six Fold Surface feature, transition feature and additional features called number of keypoints. Number of keypoints are output of Scale Invariant Features Transform (SIFT) method. The dataset used is 100 images for training data and 100 images for testing data from 20 different classes. And 25 images from out of trained class as unknown data. The result of algorithm testing is 71,2% from testing of non-threshold process, 56% from testing process with maximum value of minimum euclidean distance between data and class as threshold value, 45,6% % from testing process with second maximum value of minimum euclidean distance between data and class as threshold value.

Abstract

PDAM Kota Malang's target it utilizing an effective information technology. Therefore the company has priority on improving reability of information system management, service system improvements, customer data management, development and implementation of the applications. In order to measure the implementation of risk management, an assessment had been done to capability level of EDM03 subdomain (ensure risk optimization), APO12 (manage risk) and APO13 (manage security) using COBIT 5 Framework. This research used self assessment. Started from choosing processes to asses, assessment for level 1, assessment for level 2 to 5, recording all of the assessment result, gap analyzing, and making recommendations. The result of capability level were obtained through several methods, viz. interviews, observation, and self-assessment worksheet. Recommendations were expected to assist the company in archiving the targeted level in EDM03, APO12, and APO13 processes. Where this three processes were in capability level 1 and the targeted level is in level 2. Thus, the gap of the three subdomain is 1. Recommendations for the company are related to documents of each processes which needed to be improved, suggestion to do a further analysis to know the possibility that will occur in the future, establishing a special team for risk and security management, separation of duties and responsibilities, and determining methods to control each processes.

Abstract

Checking the employees attendance is an important matter for every institution or company to see their own employee performance. Each instituion or company must have their own way to check the employees attendance, such as using a paper, smartphone application, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), and biomentric technique. Those kind of ways are really making the company easier to check the employees attendance, but there is a flaw, for example is on the fingerprinting system when using the fingerprint, sometimes the fingerprint can not be detected by the system, moreover an employee should reach a specific location to make a presence. This sometimes make the employees to procrastinate or late to make a presence. As a result, the employees often forget and do not make a presence. From the problem, this reasearch is made to make a presence system for employees using a wifi fingerprint, wifi fingerprint means a MAC address which is caught by microtic router when a smartphone is connected. System will read the MAC address and interface of the router mikrotik through the API for RouterOS, then save it into the database, and compare it with the MAC address already in the database, so when it happens, an employee will be considered as present and the location of an employee will be known based on a place where a smartphone is connected. The testing result of functionality and performance shows the all functions on system run well and the time that needed by a system to read from a router has an average below of one second and the time for system to detect the presence including the employees location is about five seconds.

Abstract

Cost calculation is one of the decisive factors in making software. A small cost estimation will result in low quality produced software, otherwise a large cost estimation will result in a waste of expenditure. Both of these factors will potentially result in software project failure. There are several techniques and software cost estimation models that are classified into algorithmic and non algorithmic. Each has advantages and disadvantages, but there is no best techniques for all software development conditions. One of the most popular algorithmic methods for estimating software development costs is COCOMO II. COCOMO II proves to be a flexible model and has precise accuracy to use in cost estimates. Therefore, research conducted on the software house Jasa Web Malang uses COCOMO II method, especially post architecture submodel in estimating the cost of one of their projects. The goal is that this method can be accepted and applied to the software house. The result of this research is the estimated cost used by using COCOMO II method is smaller than the cost incurred by Jasa Web Malang and the cost estimation method using COCOMO II with post architecture submodel can be applied to software house Jasa Web Malang if the software house get flexible clients in waiting for the decision of the value of the system because to get the price of the System by calculating using COCOMO II method takes longer time than using guesstimate method.

Abstract

Instagram is the most popular social media in these recent days. The users who start from kids, teenagers to adults, have the role in boosting the popularity of Instagram. However, this social media could not be seperated from the dangers of cyberbullying which is done often by the users, especially in the comment column. The dangers of cyberbullying are certainly worried many people because of the impact it has. Therefore, a sentiment analysis in Instagram comment column can be done in order to find out the sentiments in each comment. Sentiment analysis is a branch of text mining science which is used to extract, understand, and cultivate the data. This research used Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification method to examine the sentiments in each comment. Data consisted of 400 data which taken offline have a total 1799 features. The comment document is divided into 70% of training data and 30% of test data. Based on the tests performed, the best parameters obtained in the SVM method are the degree of polynomial kernel 2, the average of learning rate of 0.0001, and the maximum number of iterations which is 200 times. From these result, it obtained that the highest accuracy is 90%, 50% in the training data composition and 50% composition of test data.

Abstract

Concentration selection is one of few steps for a students to finish their studies. Informatics programee have 4 concentration consist of Artificial Inteligent(AI), Software Engineering (SE), Network and Game. Unfortunately because the limited and many internal problems from the students causing some problem for the concetration selection. To solve the problem of selection, a system who can give a classification is needed to give the solution. A classification for concentracion selection uses fuzzy k-nearest neighbor for its method. The method works with calculate the number of K value to Process the classification of 4 study concentration and resulting the recomendation class of concentration class based on the student data. Based on the research of study using 200 data of the students of Informatics engineering, from 2011 to 2013, the biggest accuracy was produced by K value=3 and have 87,5% accuracy. While the lowest precentages of accuracy was produced by K value=10 with the averages of 67,5% accuracy.

Abstract

Research in the field of communications technology today has grown rapidly. This is indicated by the use of the Internet as a medium of communication. The development of technology can cause harmful effects, such as cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is any form of violence committed in the virtual world that can cause health problems for victims, such as physical and psychological problems. Lack of concern about cyberbullying issues, and the unavailability of cyberbullying data to actuate preventive action is the problems to overcome cyberbullying issues. The study was conducted with the aim of seizing the attention of the government through the communications and informatics ministries on cyberbullying cases and can serve as a basis in mobilizing preventive actions, by providing data on cyberbullying and visualizing the information into a system dashboard. Stages in this study started from literature studies, information gathering, requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. In this research, there are several software development processes, which is done with waterfall development model. The developed system in this study is a web-based system that can display the percentage of cyberbullying in a location with data obtained from tweets on Twitter that have been classified using sentiment analysis. The developed system in this research integrates between the framework used, the Twitter API library as a data collector, and the library of sentiment analysis to classify the data. The testing strategy in this research is done by unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing, with the result all valid value for all test cases which means that the built system can run as intended and free from failure

Abstract

Water is an absolute necessity every day that has an important role. One of the utilization of seawater used for the industrial sector is PLTGU in PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali. This makes the electricity industry has treated the sea water into fresh water called desalination process. However, in the PLTGU process often experience problems in water treatment such as the occurrence of leaking pipe due to corrosion, the difference of water filling treatment, and the long-time desalination process resulted in unstable turbine performance. With some problems that arise, then needed a solution. In this study, researchers have proposed a water forecasting system using the method of extreme learning machine (ELM) with the optimization of Genetic Algorithm. The genetic algorithm is used to optimize the input weight values obtained randomly on the ELM method. Meanwhile, to represent chromosomes using real code. At the reproduction stage using extended intermediate crossover method and random mutation method. The result of ELM test method and genetic algorithm resulted in average MAPE value of 0.428 with a parameter value of crossover rate (Cr) value 0.4 and mutation rate (Mr) equal to 0.6, popsize amount 200, number of generation 1000, and training data amount 80% of the entire dataset. From the results obtained MAPE, shows that the combined ELM method with genetic algorithm able to minimize the error value in forecasting compared with the ELM method.

Abstract

Kampung Batik Jetis is one of the tourist village located in Sidoarjo regency. However, tourists who visit the Sidoarjo regency is less knowing of the existence of the village. Therefore, there are emerging needs of the village of batik, which currently do not have a profile web-based information portal with the purpose of showing all information for the public. Website development is done by using Rational Unified Process method. This method allows to systematically control the changes that occur in the software during the development process. Website development use object-oriented analysis and design approach where each requirement is grouped in several objects. Diagrams used include use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams. The test was performed using black box testing method and white box testing method. The solution for the lack of media introduction Kampung Batik Jetis one of which is the development of a website profile. Black box testing results using the use case testing techniques of 18 features tested entirely valid. While testing with white box testing method with basis path testing techniques resulting in three valid test results. The expected results with the website profile, residents, especially craftsmen Kampung Batik Jetis can promote the village to the maximum.
