Abstract

Education has an important role in human life. Choosing the right education will have a positive impact on their future career. Based on Indonesian Education Curriculum starting from year 2013, high school major was carried out since 10th grade, at the time when new student admission is conducted. These changes have an impact on Junior High School students, who have to prepare to choose which major they they want to be in. Academic report, student interest, family's wealth, school they want to enroll, and parent's wishes are some factor that need to be considered. This study is conducted to make recommendation for 9th grade students in which major are suitable for them. The method used is Analytic Hierarcy Process (AHP) and Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART). Criterias that being used is their study report, and their interest. AHP is used to calculate the weight of criteria, while SMART is used to determine recommendation result between IPA and IPS. Data testing is calculated 10 times using Spearman Correlation resulting in ρ=0.83458. The Spearman value (ρ) then compared to significance test table, resulting significant relationship between IPA and IPS.

Abstract

Application of security systems to oversee the security of a location using cameras is an alternative that is often chosen. Rather than hiring the services of many security officers, put the cameras in various corners of the place are more economical with less security officer and a camera operator. Job duration of camera operators on average for 6 hours to 8 hours, during this period the operators are required to oversee the monitors in the room. With the long work duration, operator attention is decreased so that the supervision task insufficient. There is no a supervisor for camera operator performance, so operator supervisor technology in real-time is made. By detecting the position of sitting or standing and face detection, then the attention of operators can be detected. Position detection of sitting or standing on this system using HSV color conversion to selecting pixels containing skin color as a value threshold, image Thresholding, and white pixel calculations from the top image and the bottom image. For human face and eyes detection used Haar Cascade Classifier Algorithm. This algorithm can detect the tilt angle of each face up to 15áµ’. The output of the system is the sound of the buzzer, indicates that the operator under the conditions of being out of attention. The system can detect the sit or stand condition with 100% accuracy, for face and eyes detection to determine the condition of attention of 98.33% accuracy.

Abstract

PT. Lintas Jejak Nusaraya is a company engaged in the field of GPS tracking services on vehicles, which utilize the website to provide services to users ranging from information about the current location of the vehicle to record the trip from the vehicle. The problem of branding is almost the same as the business competitors to make PT. Lintas Jejak Nusaraya decided to create a new brand. Interface improvements are needed to strengthen the identity of PT. Lintas Jejak Nusaraya in the new website development. Improved user interface is done using Human Centered Design approach. Aspects of usability used in testing, among others; Efficiency to measure access speed, Effectiveness to measure success rate, and to measure Satisfaction used questionnaire System Usabiliy Scale. A preliminary evaluation is performed on the old interface to explore the problem of the 9 issues used as suggestions for improvements to the proposed prototype and final evaluation done on the prototype to get user feedback from proposed improvements that have been made. From the evaluation result, there is an increasing of satisfaction level which increase from SUS Score 43,5 average in the initial evaluation to SUS Score 71 on final evaluain, increasing the time needed to access PT. Lintas Jejak Nusaraya from an average of 447 seconds to 399 seconds, and the completion rate of 82.8% in the initial evaluation to 97% in the final evaluation.

Abstract

Department of Tourism and Culture (Disparbud) of Malang Regency requires the customer's perspective in the process of monitoring and evaluation of management and development activities of South Malang beach tourism. But Disparbud neither have the data about the customer's opinion, nor the application of technology on data processing and data analysis that capable of providing information about customer's perspective on aspects of South Malang beach tourism. The customer's perspective can be obtained from customer's opinions in the form of review that available on the web platform. Web Scraping is a method for extraction of customer's opinion data sourced from the web platform. To get the information about customer's perspective on aspects of South Malang beach tourism could be done by performing Aspect Level Sentiment Analysis on the customer's opinion data. One of many classification methods is the Support Vector Machine, which can be used to classify sentiments in sentiment analysis process. This research managed to get 674 customer's opinion data in Bahasa Indonesia ranged from 2013 to 2018 for 43 tourist attractions of South Malang beach tourism sourced from TripAdvisor. The tests that have been conducted on the results of the sentiment classification for all aspects resulted good results in an average of 85% on accuracy, 85% on precision, 87% on recall, and 85% on F1-Score. The output of this research is in form of data visualization in the form of Dashboard consisted of 4 Dashboards which contains results from the process of sentiment analysis on the customer opinions to aspects of South Malang beach tourism.

Abstract

Head Movement Control System (HEMOCS) is a method that changes the control of objects on the system using head movement. In the field of education, apps for answering exam using the head movement control applied to the android platform can help disabled students to answer the exam. This application changes the function of hand-based input into head-based. Using Head Mounted Display (HMD) this application can be controlled with six single motions of lateral rotation to the right, lateral rotation to the left, lateral flexion right, lateral flexion left, flexion, extension and there are three combinations of rightward-rightward, leftward-leftward and downward-downward. Development of this application using the method of SDLC Prototyping, which iterated twice to get the needs in accordance with the user. Furthermore based on the design obtained, performed the implementation phase of the system. Based on the test conducted reusability obtained results of 80,5 which indicates that the application is easy to use by the user.

Abstract

History is a record of the past about the changing in huma life. Every change in changes of history will provide a lesson for human life in the future. Similarly, what happens to life in Indonesia, every historical story that occurs in Indonesia has a high cultural values. One of them is the history of Majapahit Kingdom, wehere the history of Majapahit is one of the greatest historical stories and influences the life of Indonesian society, and the one is the story from The Journey of Gajah Mada to merge Indonesia in Majapahit, based on “Sumpah Palapa”. But at the moment, the lack of public interest, especially children about its history, makes history a forgotten one. This is caused by learning media such as books, and lessons that tend to make students bored. In this research, the development of educational games about The Journey of Gajah Mada with a fun and interactive paltformer game for student. Testing results obtained by filling questionnaire by 20 respondents are calculated through Likert index interpretation. The results show that overall game is 81%, game view is 100%, the game rate is 83%, and the game difficulty level is 63%. And result of Usability Testing with SUS is 75,75. It's mean that the game is acceptable, on rating C and excellent rating. And get increase value from the test, it means that the game can be a education game media

Abstract

In choosing a college and course must be in accordance with their interests respectively because the interest is owned is the first step to achieve the desired learning outcomes, which is subsequently embodied in the selection of courses. But the fact is based on the survey that the authors do, there are 59% of students from 100 students who are confused and feel hesitant in determining which colleges or courses they should choose. One of the factors that caused it was the lack and the difficulty of the information they get about the higher education and study programs that exist in Indonesia. To overcome this, it is necessary an application information portal system of universities in Indonesia. This system will be made with web-based. This system will help students to facilitate in obtaining information about the college, as well as information about the study program. In addition, students can take the online exam and compare it with the passing grade of the study program that has been selected previously. This is done to determine the ability of the students whether it is sufficient or not to enter the college and the study program, and also with these results students can better prepare well. The system has been successfully tested using the white box testing method for unit testing with result low program complexity value means a high testability value, which means that the system is easily evaluated by testing and blackbox testing using validation where the result for validation testing for 71 functionality are 100% valid and the result of compatibility testing shows that the system can run on 3 typesof web browsers

Abstract

Audio recording is one of the multimedia files that are often encountered today. One example is the sound recording that can be used as evidence in the trial of the law. The proof of sound recording is supported by UU No 11 Tahun 2008 Pasal 5 ayat 1 regarding information and electronic transactions that stated : "Electronic information and / or electronic documents and / or prints are legal evidence". Therefore, sound recording is very important to be kept secret from an unauthorized party. This study focuses on the aspect of confidentiality. This research implements SPECK algorithm to encrypt audio recordings. DHKE is also implemented as a public key exchange algorithm. Execution time encryption and decryption is performed by using various files extension and the duration of different audio recordings. The time of encryption and decryption of each file extension is slightly different. The execution time difference of encryption and decryption is less than 23 seconds. The results show that the file extension does not affect the execution time. The execution time is affected by the size of the file, whichs mean the bigger the size of the file, the longer the execution time.

Abstract

Microblogging has become the media information that is very popular among internet users. Therefore, the microblogging became a source of rich data for opinions and reviews especially on movie reviews. We proposed, sentiment analysis on movie review using ensemble features and Bag of Words and selection Features Pearson's Correlation to reduce the dimension of the feature and get the optimal feature combinations. Use the feature selection is done to improve the performance of the classification, reducing the dimension of the feature and get the optimal feature combinations. The process of classification using several models of Naive Bayes i.e. Bernoulli Naive Bayes for binary data , Gaussian Naive Bayes for continuous data and Multinomial Naive Bayes for numeric data. The results of this study indicate that by using the non-standard word on tweet evaluation results obtained accuracy 82%, precision 86%, recall 79.62% and f-measure 82.69% using Feature Selection 20%. Then after using manual standardization of word the evaluation results on the accuracy increased by 8% and then the accuracy becomes 90%, precision 92%, recall 88.46% and f-measure 90.19% using 85% feature selection. Based on these results it can be concluded that by using the standardization of word can improve the performance of classification and feature selection Pearson's provide optimal feature combinations and reducing the total number of dimensions feature.

Abstract

Internet era at this time has developed a technology called Internet of Things as known as IoT. Where IoT is able to transmit data automatically from computer to computer without the initiation from humans. However, with size and number of data that increased will be transmitted make IoT devices performance has a negative result. Efforts are being made to overcome these problems, namely the need for a system that is able to manage devices and can monitor and maintain availability of IoT devices. One way is to make an IoT device monitoring system that aims to monitor when there is a disruption to the device. By implementing the MQTT protocol which is a protocol that implements the publish-subscribe mechanism and runs on the application layer. The MQTT protocol can process the send and receive of messages to manage and monitor according to the user's wishes, because the send and receive of messages by predetermined topics. Based on results rather than testing, the MQTT protocol has a smaller resource requirement than the UDP protocol and has a smaller data packet size than the SNMP protocol. The IoT device monitoring system that uses the MQTT protocol also has a small delay of 0.008634 sec and a throughput value of 9.2 MBit / sec. So that the system can run on low bandwidth and high latency.
