Home security system is an important and mandatory thing that must be considered by every homeowner. Therefore, one solution that is widely used is to use CCTV to monitor the state of the home environment, but the current CCTV data stored is in the form of video which usually requires a large enough storage space of course it is less efficient in the use of storage space. The solution is to build a CCTV with a system that uses image files as a data format, in addition to more efficient storage of image data formats, it also makes the system work less so that it is lower power than video formats. Therefore in this research, a CCTV system based on Wireless Sensor Network with Motion Detection System for Home Security consists of 3 sensor nodes and a sink node. When the sensor node detects a movement of the system will send a notification to the homeowner and take pictures automatically then send it to the sink node. Homeowners will receive a URL address to access the image file. This system communicates using a WiFi network and consists of several components, namely: 3 ESP32 microcontrollers and a camera, 3 SR501 PIR (Passive InfraRed) sensors and a Raspberry Pi Model B. Based on the results of trials on this system it was found that the system can detect movement by effective in the range of 1 meter to 6 meters from moving objects. Each sensor node is able to send images to the sink node. The system is able to send notifications to homeowners and the system can provide a URL address so that image files can be accessed remotely.

Malang Menyapa is a tourism information application for Malang City based on Android Mobile, developed by the Malang City Culture and Tourism Office. Based on a study conducted by researchers of user reviews on the Google Play Store, Malang Menyapa application has usability issues including the use of background that is too crowded, the design used is still too old school, the colors are too flashy, the content design is not representative, the use of fonts is too much, and less user friendly. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate and improve user interface design to increase its usability value using the usability testing method. Usability testing is a process that employs people as test participants who represent the target audience to evaluate the extent to which a product meets certain usability criteria. The usability aspects measured in this study are in accordance with ISO 9241-11 namely effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction. The usability testing process includes testing tasks, giving questionnaires, and interviews. Based on the results of the interview, found as many as 30 usability problems that will be corrected using 28 compilation guidelines. The results of the effectiveness value measured using completion rate increased from the initial design which was only 78% to 100% for design improvement, the value of efficiency that was measured using overall relative efficiency increased from the initial design ie 82.26% to 100% for design improvement, and the value of satisfaction users measured using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire increased from the initial design of 27.88 to 81.75 for the design improvement. The results of the application design improvement Malang Menyapa can prove that it can improve the usability problems found.

Pandanarum Village Head's Office is an office which located at the frontier of two villages in Pandanarum Village, Mojokerto Regency, especially on Pacet Subdistrict. The Village Head's Office performing population record activities on its administration. On the recording of its populations, the Village Office doesn't have a good data structure yet and inefficient recap process that affects the overall evaluation performance of the population when Village Head need data immediately. Based on the problems in this research, it inflicts the Village Head can't give the right decision for village development. This research produces interface design that focuses on the user's perspective and their needs to increase data recording efficiency and providing information to Head Office at Pandanarum Village Office using Human-Centred Design (HCD) method. There are several phases in HCD, there are understanding and specify the context of usage, specify the user requirements, produce design solution and evaluating the design of wireframe and high fidelity prototypes. The features are based on accordance with user requirements and then evaluating design solution qualitatively through direct interviews with users to meet user needs and consist of user agreement. This research result interface designs, 9 improvement recommendations and interface design that have been improved.

One of the tasks of the Sidoarjo Regency's Office of the Environment and Hygiene is to ensure that the Sidoarjo Regency's environment is free of rubbish. The waste problem is one of the main problems in the Department of Environment and Cleanliness of Sidoarjo Regency. For this reason, the role of the community is important in terms of reporting the occurrence of garbage piles so that DLHK can swiftly handle it. At this time the reporting of waste discovery is still done manually where the public must come to DLHK to report so that it takes a long time in the reporting process and it is difficult to know the progress of the community reporting process. For this reason, an information system is needed to deal with the problem. For the information system to match what is needed, a design that analyzes the needs of the community and DLHK is needed. Then the OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis and Design) approach is used. In the needs analysis phase, 53 functional needs and 1 non-functional needs were generated. At the design stage, UML diagrams are used which produce 22 sequence diagrams, 2 class controller diagrams, 2 class diagram models, physical data models, and 24 user interface designs. Then to evaluate the needs analysis and design made the requirement configuration structure is used which produces a value of 100%. Evaluation also uses the traceability matrix method in which the results explain that all designs are made following with the needs analysis.

Student of SMA Negeri 1 Sukodadi increased every year. So, the needs of administration services about students payment increased too. This school already has a payment administration system. When the system is ready to use, East Java provincial government changed the regulation of Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan (SPP) payment. Consequently, the system is unused because it does not match with the current user needs. The problem in the payment of participation are the management of administration still manual, the limitations of HR Manager of payment administration, and the process of income payment calculation is not time efficiency. Human Centered Design (HCD) is used method. The stages in HCD are context analysis and user needs by interview method. Results of this analysis are two users as respondents and user wants a new design that complies with rules to make it easier to manage payments and report generation. Design interfaces and solution designs generated wireframes and prototypes. Evaluation of prototypes using usability testing with effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction aspects. This evaluation is done by testing task scenario to determine the effectiveness and efficiency aspects. The satisfaction aspect is determined by the interview method to the user. The result of prototype evaluation on effectiveness aspect is79,24%, while the efficiency aspect are respondent 1 is 90% and respondent 2 is 100%, and than the satisfaction aspect is 4 issues.

Evaluating starfruit by looking at its size can be done using a conventional method. This method requires a lot of human resources and time. To speed up the process, digital image processing technology is used. Starfruit is a fruit that is very popular in Indonesia. Sweet and sour taste in starfruit is very suitable to be made into salad. Starfruit becomes a challenge because it has five sections and does not resemble a solid. There is a modified method for adjusting starfruit characteristics. This study uses volume and weight parameters in evaluating. Digital images are taken using a camera connected to the Raspberry Pi. The image obtained is processed for segmentation. Information from the results of segmentation will be used in a modified cylindrical method to produce a volume. Volume will be used in the linear regression method to produce weight. The accuracy of the volume method obtained was 86.64% and the accuracy of the weight method was 86.43% with an average execution time of 3.45 seconds. This solution can be an example of the image processing technology development.

Person with disability cannot do the normal daily aktivity. In patients with disabilities, the patient cannot move the whole body and therefore needs to be monitored by a household assistant. However, a household assistant cannot keep monitored for 24 hours continuously. To overcome this problem, this research was created to develop a system that helps people with disabilities to help their daily activities. The system was made to detect the eye movements to select menus from the screen. The menu on the LCD screen contains options including to call the nurse, choose a food menu, and go to the toilet. This system is made using the landmark face method combining with the eye movement detection method. Detection of eye movements will be divided into five, namely looking up, down, left, right and forward. The detection will be implemented in the options menu on the LCD screen so that patients can be helped in their daily lives.

The use of IPv4 in addressing is a consideration of the continued growth of the internet, so IPv4 needs to provide even more addresses. IPv6 is designed to overcome the weaknesses of IPv4. This research is to find out the performance of load balancing based on Never Queue and Destination Hashing algorithm on IPv6. The performance of a website that has a management server is called load balancing. Load balancing is a system for loading large loads that cannot be carried out by a single server. Algorithms in load balancing generally use Round Roubin and Least Connection. This study uses the Never Queue (NQ) and Destination Hashing (DH) algorithm. NQ algorithm has the advantage of having a supporting algorithm. If the queue request is not resolved, then use the algorithm. Recent Delays to calculate the fewest connection delays. DH algorithm has advantages, contains a hash table that contains the destination address of the server along with its services. The parameter used is Time per Request, with the aim of obtaining website services from the time needed to make the request to the response. Seen from the results Time per Request given to each different number of clients can be deduced from the algorithm Never Queued with 2 and 3 servers giving a better Time per Request result in all of clients.

Laboratory of Instrumentation and Measurement is one of the laboratories in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Brawijaya University. This laboratory serves student practicum activities, lecture and student research, and research activities such as workshops and demos. To conduct data inventory of laboratory equipment, borrowing and returning equipment service, laboratory staff still using manual records in spreadsheet and forms. There are several problems such as manual records for the equipments, the synchronization of the data owned by the laboratory staff and the head of the laboratory, and also the laboratory staff must find the form from all loan forms when returning. Based on this, an inventory management information system is needed for laboratory equipment that can help solve the problem of inventory, adding information to equipment, and borrowing and returning equipment. The development of this information system uses the SDLC Evolutionary Prototyping model that allows improvement of functionality during continuous iterations. The results of the requirement analysis are described using use case diagrams and activity diagrams. The implementation of this information system uses the CodeIgniter PHP framework. System testing is done by using validation testing with the results of testing all functions that can be done properly and verified validly. The result of compatibility testing shows some problems, such as critical issue found because of the SSL or HTTPS feature that is not activated and major and minor problems exist because some browsers don't support some CSS properties. UAT testing resulted in an acceptance percentage of 91.8% for administrator actors and 83.6% for student actors.

Situs website jurusan sistem informasi (SI) merupakan sarana untuk menyampaikan segala informasi mengenai jurusan sistem informasi yang terdapat di FILKOM Universitas Brawijaya. Dengan terdapat website jurusan sistem informasi akan memudahkan dan mempercepat dalam pencarian informasi bagi mahasiswa dan masyarakat umum yang membutuhkan segala informasi tentang jurusan sistem informasi.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan kebutuhan pengguna untuk perancangan situs website jurusan sistem informasi lalu menghasilkan rancangan desain situs website sistem informasi yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna. Dalam perancangannya memakai kaidah Human Centered Design. Dalam menentukan konteks dan spesifikasi kebutuhan pengguna/user situs website jurusan sistem informasi dengan melalui wawancara kelompok pengguna dan masukan-masukan dari stakeholder terkait dalam pelaksanaan rapat dengan pengembang website jurusan. Berdasarkan hasil kebutuhan yang didapat dari pengguna dan stakeholder terkait menghasilkan sebuah desain awal yang kemudian mendapat masukan-masukan dari stakeholder terkait dan dilakukan perbaikan desain dan tata letak menu hingga menghasilkan desain solusi akhir. Pada desain solusi akhir dilakukan evaluasi website dimana dalam melakukan evaluasi desain menggunakan prinsip Heuristic Evaluation dan Guideline University Website Design. Dari 3 evaluator mendapatkan 18 permasalahan. Berikutnya rekomendasi yang diberikan evaluator akan diperbaiki dan dijadikan solusi desain situs website jurusan sistem informasi.
