Abstract

Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is a website-based information system developed by the Bagian Administrasi dan Akademik of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. However, the services provided are still not maximal, proved by the fact that there are still many students who experience problems while using the Sistem Informasi Akademik. The objective of this study to determine the service quality of Sistem Informasi Akademik UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in variable system availability, efficiency, privacy, fulfillment, responsiveness, contact, compensation and perceived value. And give recommendations to UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang to improve the service quality of SIAKAD. The study population consisted of students of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang grade 2013-2017, with 120 respondents as sample.Furthermore the service quality of Sistem Informasi Akademik was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis to determine the level of the average category of each variable, so that the results of the average category were obtained. At the end of the study it was determined that several variables obtained a fairly good average category of service quality SIAKAD UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, such as system availability, efficiency, fulfillment, responsiveness and privacy variable, while compensation, contact and perceived value variable obtained a not good average category.

Abstract

Fishio is a marketplace that connects fish farmers and consumers. Based on the Indonesian KKP data in 2018 there was an increase in fisheries production reaching 17.22 million tons at the end of 2017. However, this potential was not in line with the conditions of fish pond farmers. Cultivators often complain about sales that don't sell because of difficult marketing. Therefore the author took the initiative to create media marketing through the application. The application that facilitates the marketing process will help farmers and consumers order and find their needs. This aims to make it easier for fisheries farmers to market their products so far and make it easier for consumers to order pond fisheries products. Application development uses the prototyping method as a software development method because the application is intended for many users so that in the future there can be an iteration in its development. Using the Android and Firebase platforms as service providers is expected to be able to solve existing problems. This application gets a value of 67.5 from a scale of 100 for seller applications and a value of 75 from a scale of 100 for buyer applications.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology makes the implementation of Internet-of-Things (IoT) increasingly common in everyday life. The IoT challenge is the ability to support devices with limitations and the Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP) is built to accommodate those problems. CoAP uses a client/server architecture that serves the request and provides the data respond requested by the user. This poses a problem when the client accesses the same resource simultaneously. This situation affects the workflow and makes it inefficient since it must do the same data request for all clients who needs that data. These activities may affect the performance of the server nodes which has limitations, and interfere the data transactions on the CoAP network. Therefore, the solution is by implementing a publish/subscribe architecture on CoAP in an IoT environment. The system uses broker that become bridges between publishers and subscribers, as well as data centers during data transactions. The test results show that the system has been able to run according to its functional needs, and the system has been able to run scalability test scenarios up to 250 users with a 0% error rate and has an average latency value of 74.5% smaller and overhead efficiency is 45.4% better than conventional CoAP. Based on these results, the system can be a solution to the problem of the IoT environment that has limitations.

Abstract

DISKOMINFOTIK is one of the government's agency that utilizes technological developments to improve services to public such as information systems, websites, and applications to support DISKOMINFOTIK operations. In its implementation, management deficiencies are still found there is no Standard Operation Procedure (SOP), investment management has not been well managed, doesn't have IT quality management, lack of resources to manage IT investments, its information systems are not updated regularly so that the growth of user needs is not fulfilled, there is no risk identification and risk management, there is no quality measurement regarding the implementation of current IT To get the results that are in conformable, it is necessary to evaluate IT governance to find out whether IT services are in accordance with the vision, mission and objectives and whether planning and implementation are well controlled. Evaluation is carried out so that the implementation of IT governance and runs optimally and in accordance with the expectations of managers of IT at DISKOMINFOTIK by using the COBIT framework 4.1 which focuses on the domain Plan and Organization (PO) and Acquire and Implement (AI). From the results of this study, it can be seen that the average maturity level for PO domains is 1.67 and the AI ​​domain is 1.00. It is necessary to increase the maturity level value to increase the current maturity level value as expected. Then given a number of recommendations that can be applied to DISKOMINFOTIK Blitar City. Some recommendations were generated, such as making SOP documents (Standard Operating Procedures) in all services in each field, training all IT staff to support existing IT processes, and defining and documenting risk management when implementing IT at DISKOMINFOTIK Blitar City.

Abstract

Malang Area LKAI (Investment Budget Worksheet) application is a web based application that can be used by employees in PT. PLN (Persero) Malang Area planning sector to recapitulate data from field surveys related network reinforcement and suppression of distribution programs. Based on the results of interviews conducted LKAI application, problems were found that there were no instructions on how to fill data on the location description modal box, there was no detailed info on the user being logged in, and the size of the job blank is small. The evaluation was conducted to find usability problems using the Cognitive Walkthrough and Heuristic Evaluation methods. In this evaluation involving 3 evaluator subject matter and 3 evaluator usability expert. The evaluation using Cognitive Walkthrough method found 205 usability problems which were then normalized to 22 problems, while 64% of all problems were also found in Heuristic Evaluations. While Heuristic Evaluation method found 20 usability problems, while usability heuristic with the highest number of problems was H-5 (Error prevention) with 5 findings or 25% of the all problems finding. The evaluation results, 30 prototype interface improvements based on the 10 guideline of usability heuristic principles. Then validation on the prototype using the system usability scale obtained a score of 80.83 with the acceptability level depending on the acceptable category, grade scale was in grade B, adjective ranking depends on the excellent category and percentile rank in grade A.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in Indonesia after breast cancer. The number of deaths from cervical cancer in Indonesia continues to increase every year due to delays in making diagnoses and examinations. To detect cervical cancer, a laboratory examination using Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (IVA) or pap smears is needed which requires specialist internal medicine and several considerations of features to get accurate diagnosis. Sometimes, how to analyze features by doctor with one another produces different results. Therefore, a classification process is needed to make a diagnosis of cervical cancer with high accuracy results so that it is expected to be able to match the diagnosis results of medical personnel. This study uses cervical cancer risk classification data with feature selection based on expert interviews. This study uses the Extreme Learning Machine algorithm to carry out the classification process and measure the results of algorithm performance with accuracy values ​​from the calculation of confusion matrix. Based on the test results obtained the optimal parameters are as many as 11 hidden neurons, the activation function is binary sigmoid, and the fold on training and testing data is fold 1st which produces an accuracy of 91.76%.

Abstract

Learning English for early childhood begins with an introduction to the environment. One of them is fruit material. Based on the observations of researchers in the RA Al-Mawaddah case study, teaching English in early childhood teachers was limited to providing material about listening and speaking. In this study explained the development of Android-based English learning applications by utilizing Android Speech recognition. Android Speech Recognition is a library provided by Android to identify sounds by digitizing words and matching the digital signals with a pattern stored in the database. The use of Android Speech Recognition for the development of English learning media will facilitate the process of learning activities by both teachers and students. Based on the results of testing validation, and usability, it was found that the functional requirements expected from the application were valid. Based on the results of usability testing the results obtained 81.56%, ie the application is valid which means the system is easy to learn, efficient, easy to remember, errors easily overcome, and satisfy the user. For the accuracy test results produce a score of 100% where the appraisal is in accordance with or the same as the assessment by the teacher.

Abstract

The Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of Lumajang has the task of carrying out examinations on Civil Servants such as competency exams and requesting test applications called Web-based Computer Assisted Assistance Test (CAT) with displays that can be used for the current examination process. CAT BKD that is suitable for the user's purpose using the Goal-Directed Design method. In implementing the Goal-Directed Design method there are 6 stages, the first stage is research to get the needs of the application from stakeholders and 6 users. Stage modeling that produces persona which contains 6 variables from CAT application users, namely examinees and exam committee. Stages of the requirement definition that produce CAT applications and information structures from the CAT application. Stages design framework that produces the results of designing a CAT application using wireframe. Stage design improvements that produce a hi-fi prototype. And the support design stages that produce the analysis of the results of the prototype testing qualitatively are user testing and quantitative, namely the experience of the user questionnaire (UEQ). The results of UEQ on the exam participants' interface yielded very good categories on the scale of attraction, efficiency, stimulation, and novelty and gained categories both on the scale of perspicuity and dependability. While the appearance of the exam committee produced a excellent category on the sixth scale of UEQ. From these results it can be concluded that the CAT BKD application is good for the examinee and the exam committee providing a perception that is good for the user.

Abstract

Layanan Dataku is a service center for statistical data in the Communication and Information Agency of Sidoarjo Regency. Layanan Dataku has three business processes which are: data mining business process, data processing business process and data publication business process. In the service implementation, there are several stages that interfere with the business process. There are 7 potentials problems were considered with the highest RPN (Risk Priority Number) values which are when the Head of Service received a letter and gave a decision to extract data manually, the OPD gives a decision to permit data mining manually, the organization gives access to a limited data mining, the data processing section obtains data from third parties, prepares the data to be processed, gives a decision data publication feasibility, entering the website page. The first stage of this research is to identify the business processes, then to make a model of business processes using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), then conduct analysis and evaluation using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to sort the problems based on the highest RPN values to be evaluated. The preparation of business process recommendations is improved by using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method supported by Streamlining tools. There is an increase of 42.64% in data mining business processes, 31.99% in data processing and 0.18% in data publication. So that it can produce a faster duration of problem-solving and produce recommendations that can be applied to minimize problems that occur based on the results of evaluations that have been carried out.

Abstract

Emotion shapes human behavior in general and very important in life. Detecting emotions provides an important role in various aspects because it can be applied in various fields such as decision-making, predicting human emotions conditions, providing a review product quality, tracking support for political problems, and recognizing depression disorders. Identifying emotions can use textual data that is text, text can be used to communicate and declare information. The social media that used to exchange information is Twitter. Twitter contains information about human attitude and human emotions. Therefore, emotional detection is needed to determine human emotions using Naive Bayes method and feature combinations. This research using several Naive Bayes classification models namely Bernoulli Naive Bayes for binary data types and Multinomial Naive Bayes for discrete data types. Feature Combination used in this research is as follows: linguistic features, orthographic features, and N-gram feature combinations. The best accuracy result obtained a value of 0.555 that is in testing N-gram feature combinations. While the combination of features including linguistic features, orthographic features, and N-gram features produced an accuracy value of 0.5317 which means this value was better than testing with a single feature and lower than testing the N-gram feature combinations. This is due to the influence of linguistic features, orthographic features, and N-gram features. Based on these results it can be concluded that by using combination features can cover the weaknesses of each feature that can improve the performance of accuracy even though the increase is not too significant.
