Abstract

Indonesian country is one of the rice producers. Most of Indonesian people work in agriculture. However, it is unfortunately that Indonesia cannot meet the national rice needs so that supposes Indonesia to import rice from other countries. The cultivating time of farmers in Indonesia is still one of the causes lack of rice quality and quantity that is less than optimal, so that the quality of rice products is still said to be deficient. Rice that is cropped too late has very bad impacts. Therefore, farmers should be smart in choosing the right time to crop rice. Weather factors and large fields make it increasingly difficult for farmers to check the age of their whole rice regularly. Based on these problems, farmers now need a system to help observing the age of rice by seeing on changes in the color of rice plant so that the study entitled "Rice Plant Age Classification Based on TCS3200 Color Sensor Data Using the Knn Method" is proposed. This research utilizes TCS320 Integrated Circuit (IC) Color Sensor, Arduino Integrated Development Enviroenment (IDE) software and LED as an indicator to be arranged into a system. I hope the system that I create will help farmers to improve the quality and quantity of rice yields. So that the Indonesian government does not need to import rice from other countries.After testing several times of test, it is known that this system can detect colors precisely in 20 times the experiment by attaching objects. From the results of the KNN test the highest accuracy was found at K = 5, where the accuracy value obtained was 80%. While the lowest accuracy is at k = 9, where the accuracy value obtained is only 10%

Abstract

Milk is a product that is classified as rare in Indonesian society and also the age of milk that is classified as short, making it difficult for the community to consume milk every day. Therefore, the prototype of the kefir milk fermentation process is designed using the K-nearest neighbor method. Starting from fresh cow's milk mixed with kefir seeds, after that the freshly mixed kefir milk will be inserted into the dark box in the box, there are color sensors and light sensors that are used to monitor color changes and the light intensity that occurs when fermentation is in progress. The readings obtained by the next two sensors will be determined using the K-nearest neighbor method. The test results obtained to determine the accuracy of the reading of the light sensor is worth 5.12% while the color sensor is worth 8.64% from the results of testing the two sensors, it can be concluded that the readings of the two sensors can be said to be quite good. The test results on the Kefir milk maturity level classification system using the K-nearest neighbor method with 10 times testing found an accuracy rate of 80%. And the average value of system computing time obtained after the calculation of the value of K obtained 353.3ms in 10 times the test.

Abstract

Futsal is a sport based on soccer, played by five player per team, uses smaller ball and mainly indoors. Due to many available options for futsal pitches in Malang city has caused somewhat a problem in choosing pitches based on people's interests in renting pitches. There are five factor which affects people's interest in choosing rental pitches such as price, promotions, facilities, and contact person availability. Therefore, the solution for this problem is to develop an Android based decision support system to recommend futsal pitches. System will recommend futsal pitches with TOPSIS method based on distance, price, and amount of facilities. Recommendation results also displays detailed information such as address, facilities, price, distance, operational time, contact person, and amount of pitches. The blackbox test results of the implemented system reach 100% score which all the functionality is valid. Then, algorithm validation test result for TOPSIS implementation and manual calculation also gave the same result. And last but not least, usability test result for the system reached 80 point from five respondent. Therefore, the system has grade B with user acceptance category as acceptable, grade scale level category as B, and adjective rating category as excellent.

Abstract

Competition is increasingly competitive in today's industrial environment. Companies must be able to find and identify the factors that are the key influences for success. The development of technology is very influential on the strength of a company to compete in a climate of competition between competitors. CV. Mitra Teknik is a company engaged in manufacturing that serves a services, sales, repair of machinery materials industry. In running this business, CV. Mitra Teknik need a system that can manage data and information within a company to run its industrial wheels. However, current business processes that are running such as recording each transaction are still recorded manually in the company book, this can disrupt the daily operations of the company. The solution to solve the problem is by making a sales management information system. With the construction of the sales information system, it is expected to be able to provide convenience for users in data processing so that it can save time in running the company's business processes. From test conducted using white-box testing, the test gained 100% success rate, for black-box testing that tests the system validation successfully obtained a value of 100%. And the results of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in the calculation that has been done by 4 validators obtained values ​​above 75%, which according to the system rating scale table declared capable of being understood by the user.

Abstract

The usage of Kinect to do an input into a computer by reading the movement and gesture of the user have been rising by these years. Kinect have been used alot as an input controller for a Role Playing Game. The usage of Kinect Gesture Recognition as an extended controller on a game named Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor had been getting many responses that the input done using kinect is unstable, that there are some input that unintended by the user happen when the user is doing nothing, and when the user had just done doing an input. limiting the reading of an input that kinect read using flag variable to divide input phase into 3, standby phase, input phase and reset phase, resulting in clearing the problem of unintended input that happened when user is doing nothing and when user had just done doing an input.

Abstract

Video game with 2D endless runner genre is one of the genre that is still popular today. In this 2D endless runner game, players are required to walk forward without stopping by passing platforms and obstacles in the form of traps and Non-Player Character (NPC) that act as player enemies. The NPC in this game will have an artificial intelligence that is applied to the decision making of the NPC. The method used in this NPC decision making is the Hierarchical Finite State Machine (HFSM). Decision making from NPC will be implemented by creating states and sub-states. This state will move to another state based on triggers received by the NPC, while the sub-state moves not only with triggers, but also based on the current state. This movement from one state to another uses a transition. The state and sub-state of the NPC will affect the behavior of the NPC, which can affect the playability and provide an increase in the performance of the game itself. The result is that the most optimum frame rate produced is 68.3 fps with an NPC of 25. This is in accordance with the average minimum frame rate that is standardized in the game, which is 30 fps.

Abstract

Information-centric networking is a concept of network architecture which is a content-centric model, so there is no need to connect directly to the server to get the content sought by the client. The in-network caching strategy in ICN is a caching strategy that stores content as cache spread across the network. In-network caching consists of two combinations of cache placement and cache replacement strategies. The cache placement strategy manages the placement of content on a collection of routers that acts as a content store, while the cache replacement strategy manages content replacement when the cache storage capacity is full. If the content is not removed quickly and precisely it will have an impact on the efficiency of the content that will be received by the client, resulting in a small cache hit ratio and increased latency. The cache placement and cache replacement strategies are interrelated with each other in in-network caching. Content needs to be disseminated to the network through the content store optimally and ensure that the stored content is the latest and has the chance of a cache hit. Performance evaluation of in-network caching strategies is based on cache hit ratio performance metrics, latency and path stretch. In-network caching strategy testing is done with the Icarus simulator which is specifically designed according to the ICN architecture. The results obtained from this study are the combination of ProbCache cache placement strategy with LFU cache replacement has a superior performance according to test parameters compared to other in-network caching strategies. ProbCache and LFU obtained an average CHR value of 54.02%, an average latency of 0.54 ms, and an average path stretch ratio of 4.76.

Abstract

The number of infant mortality (IMR) is a measure of the success of health services in an area. The lower the IMR, the better the health services in the area. However, in 2015, the IMR value in Indonesia was very far from the agreed target as an indicator of the success of health service development. In 2013, there was an increase in LBW cases during the 2009-2013 period to 16% according to data from WHO and UNICEF. If viewed from the cause of death, low birth weight babies still rank high. As many as 2.79% of infants died from LBW in East Java in 2010. This percentage increased to 3.32% in 2013 so that LBW was classified as the main cause of neonatal death, which was 38.03% of the total birth rate. The existence of an early detection system is likely that LBW is expected to be able to help reduce infant mortality. One method that can be applied to predict the possibility of LBW is Fuzzy K-Nearest Neighbor (FK-NN). This method is proven to be able to carry out LBW classification with an accuracy rate of 79%.

Abstract

PT. Jawa Pos is a company which engaged in the multimedia printing daily newspaper named Jawa Pos, based in Surabaya, East Java. Furthermore Jawa Pos is also engaged in the application and the website as a media for users to read the news. The purpose of this research is to know the quality of Jawa Pos website which emphasizes on three variables, namely Usability factor, Information Quality factor, Service Interaction Quality factor on Jawa Pos website based on Webqual 4.0 method. Data collection is obtained from the dissemination of questionnaires and analysis using descriptive analysis and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method which assesses the performance of Jawa Pos website based on the importance of each variable. The valuation scale on this study used the Likert scale method implementing the 5 scales of choice with statements ranging from strongly disagreeing to very concur. While the technique used to measure the number of respondents needed in this study, using Slovin technique with a percentage of accuracy is 90%, so the number of respondents needed in this research is 100 respondents. To limit the scope of existing, the characteristics of the population in this study are the people who have experience using Jawa Pos websites to read the news online with sampling techniques using the approach Convenience Sampling. This research resulted in an improvement recommendation based on its factors of interest and performance.

Abstract

In every hospital, it is still relatively weak to safeguard the patient's personal data. Therefore, patient data in every hospital whose privacy data will be secured with the use of the speck algorithm. Securing patient data by applying a 32-bit and 64-bit speck algorithm, after that the encrypted Arduino A data is sent to Arduino B and then decrypted. In the patient data there are two measurements namely the heart rate data using the pulse sensor and body temperature data using the DHT11 sensor. The accuracy of the pulse sensor was 1.628% and the DHT11 sensor obtained 2.6%. Through the acquisition of these two sensors can formulate that the two sensors are very good. Testing the NRF24L01 module has a maximum distance of 35 meters if it exceeds that distance communication between NRF24L01 will be broken. Testing the results of the speck algorithm is implemented effectively into the Arduino Uno microcontroller. In general, the period of computing the system when the process of taking sensor data includes the decryption process in the form of 132.2 ms in 10 times the test.
