Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) refers to a direct perception of the surrounding environment that has been added to the virtual component of the computer. There is generally no default mechanism for storing sequences in the AR framework, which in this context is Vuforia SDK. Linked List is one of the methods in Algorithm and Data Structure used to organize data structures in a system. The operand and operator sequences are highly considered in arithmetic operations in order to perform arithmetic calculations correctly, especially for non-commutative or non-associative operations. This research was conducted to apply the use of Linked List into AR as a method to store the temporary sequence of marker that successfully read by the device then processed again in sequence as simple arithmetic operation using Unity 3D engine aid. From this research also conducted whitebox testing with value of result of cyclomatic complexity is 9, which states the system meets the needs according to the design with low complexity, and usability testing with average SUS yield value is 55 which means the system is not yet feasible for use on the novice user.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is a major cause of morbidity (number of diseases) from various infectious diseases in the world. Bacteria, mycoplasma virus, fungi are a small part of various causes of ARI disease. Based on the severity, ARI disease can also be divided into 2, namely mild ARI and severe ARI. The low level of public information about knowledge about diseases, especially ARI, is an important factor why the mortality rate due to ARI is very high. In addition, sufficient numbers of medical personnel are needed to help communities in certain areas of Indonesia to be able to cope with ARI disease and get to know more widely ARI disease. Therefore, expert systems are expected to be a solution or rapid treatment and in helping diagnose ARI. This study also uses the Tsukamoto fuzzy method in the process of calculation and implementation. The application of fuzzy tsukamoto method of diagnosis of ARI disease, applying input from symptoms of ARI that appear as a reference for the diagnosis of disease. In the system, experts provide 5 symptoms and 2 types of ARI disease. Accuracy testing is done by testing the accuracy of 60 training data obtained from experts and there are 53 of the 60 data that match the results released by the system with expert results. The accuracy value obtained is 88.33%.

Abstract

Facial skin is one of the important parts of a human body. Lots of people trying to make their skin flawless. And also, most of them are willing to spend their money to achieve a perfect skin starts from treatment with distinguished doctors, applying expensive skin products or going abroad to get the product that matches with their skin type. The problem is, people are having difficulties on choosing the right product due to the nonconformity between the purchased product with the skin type. Moreover, this problem leads to acne, wrinkles, and black spot on the skin. The need for a system to ease non-expert to determine their skin type. So, they can purchase the product that fits their skin type. Therefore, the author propose to build a classification system which can classify skin types. In building that, the author uses haar wavelet method which is has been proven to get good result. Based on the result of this research, the highest accuracy is 90% in detection type of skin.

Abstract

Investors and stock traders need knowledge of forecasting when the price of gold will rise or will decline to minimize the risk in investing. This forecasting requires an appropriate method in order to give good results. FIS Tsukamoto is used to forecast the price of gold based on existing exchange rate data. The parameters used by Tsukamoto FIS are the currency rates of USD / GBP, CHF / USD, JPY / USD, EUR / USD based on the previous three days and the price of gold based on the previous day. To maximize Tsukamoto FIS performance, Tsukamoto FIS membership function will be optimized using Genetic Algorithm. The chromosome representation used is real-coded with a double data type. The reproduction of the crossover method used is one-cut point, while the mutation method used is random mutation. In the selection process, the method used is elitism selection to get the best individuals. Based on parameter testing carried out with 10 experiments each parameter, the best population size is 180, combination of cr = 0.9 and mr = 0.1, and the best number of generations is 325, the best fitness value is 8.6972. The Root-Mean Squared Error (RMSE) value obtained before optimization is 13.3611, while after optimization it is obtained that the smaller RMSE value is 12.5801. These results indicate an increase in the value of accuracy in Tsukamoto FIS after being optimized using Genetic Algorithm.

Abstract

The Ministry of Health Surabaya Polytechnic (Poltekkes) is an educational institution of professional staff in health sector under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Based on the results of the interviews that have been conducted, information technology in Poltekkes still has some deficiencies in its application. The problem is found when the relationship between Polytechnic and third parties as system maker is not good because the third parties often unresponive to the requests for improvements to the existing systems. This was caused by a lack of detailed agreement made by both parties. With a number of problems arose, evaluation is needed to get a solution to the problem. The purpose of holding this evaluation is to measure and determine the maturity level of the Surabaya Polytechnic and find out the analysis gap of current governance conditions. This evaluation uses COBIT 4.1 which focuses on the domain of Deliver and Support (DS) and Monitor and Evaluate (ME). After the evaluation is held, the result of DS domain maturity level has an average value of 1.41 and Monitor and Evaluate (ME) has an average value of 2.5. From these results, a recommendation is given, the Polytechnic needs to carry out monitoring related to the contract documents that have been made whether they are running accordingly or not. Furthermore, which arise and contain agreements, the third parties will be responsible when there are problems. IT services are made and guarantee from the business processes are not interrupted during the occurrence of a problem. The Polytechnic also needs to take note of the problems that arise when collaborative relationships are made.

Abstract

The purpose of building a GIS-based road lighting monitoring dashboard prototype is to provide solutions to problems of limitations and ease in obtaining information about public street lighting and knowing whether this GIS-based public street lighting monitoring dashboard can complete and facilitate the implementation of street lighting maintenance activities carried out by the Public Service Agency of Bina Marga Malang Regency, which currently all information is still obtained manually. From the solutions provided, the development of GIS-based operational dashboard is carried out using the high-fidelity prototype method. Which results in a prototype of operational dashboard with regard to user needs. The operational street lighting monitoring dashboard can assist the service agency in carrying out monitoring and maintenance by reducing the time needed to carry out maintenance activities from 4 days to only 1 or 2 days, namely by providing information regarding public street lighting, namely the status of lights and the location of lights inside digital map form in real-time, but there is no simulation using sensors but manual Realtime simulations have been carried out using other devices instead of sensors. Prototypes that have been developed can improve the maintenance performance of street lighting by 70% because the research hypothesis has proven to have a significant effect on public road maintenance activities with a 30% significance level that is sufficiently accurate in this study.

Abstract

The role of the workforce as Human Resources (HR) that runs operational tasks within the company has an important role in the success of the company. To get a competent workforce it is necessary to conduct an assessment process for the workforce to be appointed as permanent employees in a company. It is also applied by one of the companies in the field of express courier and logistics PT. Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir or commonly known as JNE. To reduce subjectivity in the assessment process it is necessary to give weighting to each criterion to be used in the assessment process. Analytical Hierarchy Process - Technic for Preference Order by Similarity to Ideal Solution method is one of the combined methods that can help to support decisions in recommending employees. Where AHP is applied to look for priority weights criteria and TOPSIS is applied to rank alternative employees. Accuracy testing is done by using comparison criteria data provided by JNE. The test data used is data from employee recommendations in 2017 as many as 33 employee recommendation data. The results of accuracy testing conducted found that the system's accuracy rate was 69% for permanent employee recommendations, 50% for contract extension, and 80% for contract termination recommendations. In the system acceptance test using the SUS method the value obtained is 80 which in the range of values is the range of "acceptable" values in the SUS scale

Abstract

Motorbikes are transportation that are generally in great demand by citizens of developed countries, especially Indonesia. With the increasing population and enthusiasts of motorbikes, the number of accidents in traffic will increase every year. The lack of handling of motorcycle accident sufferers at the time of the incident resulted in a high mortality rate. By knowing the slope of the motorcycle can be stated as an accident. Namely the slope of 10 ° - 50 ° for the left and the slope of 130 ° - 170 ° for the right. Therefore an accident detection system was built on a motorcycle based on the slope using a sensor gyroscope which was used to read the slope of the motorcycle, then sent a notification in the form of an SMS to the victim's family's cellphone via the GSM SIM900A Module. The MPU6050 sensor which is the reader of the slope value on the system installed on the motorbike will be processed on the Arduino Uno microcontroller. If the slope reading is stated as an accident, the GSM SIM900A Module will send a notification in the form of a help message to the relatives or families of the victims with the number that already exists on the GSM SIM900A module. By doing the slope alternately between left and right is selected with the roll value in the MPU6050 Sensor ranging ± -80.00- ± 50.00 expressed with an angle of 10 ° -50 ° and the slope value ± -20.00- ± 74.00 then expressed at an angle of 130 ° ¬ -170 ° the angles are expressed as the angle of the accident on the system and the boundary conditions are 60 ° -120 ° where the roll value is ± -21.00 - ± 1.00 which is declared as a normal system or does not send messages. The system will read the slope if it does not meet the boundary conditions of the roll angle, the system will immediately send a notification in the form of a message of assistance to relatives or victims' families with 80% accuracy if not constrained by the network / signal on the GSM SIM900A Module.

Abstract

The more number of chickens can make a very negative impact because of the increasing number of chicken manure in the cage. Chicken manure that is stacked in large quantities in a cage will produce a variety of harmful gases. If harmful gases arising from chicken coops exposed directly to humans will cause directly to the parts of organs in the body and respiratory problems. With the presence of a dangerous gas system in chicken coops, high risk can be prevented and used more easily in anticipating it. To be efficient in running system devices, the device in designing the system will utilize low power work for savings in power consumption. Power efficiency is carried out for battery energy sources used in the device to work in a relatively long period of time. The use of a low power system in Arduino Uno to implement devices on power consumption that is used more efficiently will not run out quickly. Sleep power down mode is used as a feature in this low power so that some sub-systems in the monitoring system of dangerous gas exposure in the chicken coop can be temporarily turned off. The resulting test is in the conclusion that the system can run as desired. Tested with MQ-4 and MQ-135 sensors there is a reading of the detected gas value with the value in the sensor. In testing low power power consumption on a device capable of suppressing currents of 11 to 12 mA from 183.95 mA with normal conditions or wake mode.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Diskominfo) of Batu City is a government agency which focused on informatic technology. In this department, planning and implementation of an IT are handled by the ICT Infrastructure Network and Applications department. From the observations, interviews, and questionnaires, this department have some several problems in management of IT governance asynchronous between planning and implementation of budget management plan, and lack of human resources training for IT users. COBIT 4.1 framework are used in this research, and we focus on the Plan and Organize (PO) and Acquire and Implement (AI) domains. From the measurement of maturity level, we got the average maturity level for PO and AI domains are 1.89 and 1.61. From that, we made some recommendations for improvements based on that result. One of the recommendations is to make an Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents in all services that they handled.
