Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya nilai Ujian Nasional matematika siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Jakarta jika dibandingkan dengan siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Jakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan gender terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan metakognisi siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di MTs Negeri 5 Jakarta kelas VIII. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Data diperoleh melalui pretes dan postes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis serta instrumen non tes metakognisi. Tes analisis varian dua jalur (Anava 2 jalur) dilakukan untuk mengetahui adanya interaksi pada N-gain kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan skor metakognisi. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan pada α= 0.5 melalui program SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang diajar menggunakan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBM) lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional (2) tidak ada pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan gender terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa (3) kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa laki-laki yang diajar menggunakan model PBM lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa laki-laki yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional (4) kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa perempuan yang diajar menggunakan model PBM lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa perempuan yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional (5) kemampuan metakognisi siswa yang diajar menggunakan model PBM lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional (6) tidak ada pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan gender terhadap kemampuan metakognisi siswa (7) kemampuan metakognisi siswa laki-laki yang diajar menggunakan model PBM lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa laki-laki yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional (8) kemampuan metakognisi siswa perempuan yang diajar menggunakan model PBM lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa perempuan yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional.

The purpose of this research to determine whether cooperative learning model through the use of snowball throwing prized chart is more effective than conventional learning model to mathematics learning outcomes seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta. The population consisted of 137 students were divided into four classes. The sample selection is in this study using cluster random sampling technique. Data analysis techniques in this study using t-test, and than compares tobservated with ttable, with df = n1 + n2 -2, and α = 5%. If tobservated  ttable , then Ho is refused, meaning that the average score of the achievement of the experimental classes are better than the average score of the achievement of the control class. The research is found that the average achievement scores (gain) = 4.64 and the experimental class average achievement scores (gain) control class = 3.48. Obtained with  and  tobservated = 2,214 > ttable = 1,645 then Ho is refused, it means the average achievement scores (gain) achievement test on the subject of rectangular and square in the experimental classes are better than the control class. So it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model through the use of snowball throwing prized chart is more effective than conventional learning model to mathematics learning outcomes seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta.

The purposes of this research was to improve the learning interest and achievement of mathematics in grade VII A of SMP N 3 Semanu using Problem Solving methode. The kind of this research is Class Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this research were students of class VII A SMP N 3 Semanu totaling 28 students. The object of this research was to increase the learning interest and achievement of mathematics. The technique of data collection was done by observation, questionnaire, tests and documentation. The results of research showed that there were an increase in the learning interest and achievement of mathematics . This was indicated by an increase in the result percentage of average learning interest score that was 77,31% in the pre-action, 82,69% at the first cycle and 86,3% in the second cycle. Mathematic learning achievement of student also increased. At the beginning of the test ,the ability is 56,43. In the first cycle, the average result improves to 70,54. In the second cycle the average result improves to 89,11. Based on the results of the research,Problem Solving can increase the learning interest and achievement of mathematics. So, mathematic teachers can apply Problem Solving in their learning and teaching process.

The purpose of this study to determine the Jigsaw in order to improve mathematics achievement activeness and tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Magelang. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation process of learning mathematics through the learning model And Think Pair Share (TPS) in order to increase student motivation and learning achievement of class VII F SMP N 2 Greetings. The subjects in this study were students of class VII F SMP N 2 Regards, while the object of the study was motivation and achievement in the implementation of learning mathematics using learning models And Think Pair Share (TPS).Data collection techniques in this study performed using the observation sheet, sheet motivation questionnaire, and learning achievement tests. Instrument research using observation sheets, questionnaire motivation, and test.Data analysis techniques for observation sheet is done by calculating a percentage score for each indicator while learning mathematics achievement is done by calculating the average value of the percentage of students who meet the grade criteria for completeness Minimal. The results showed that after learning model applied And Think Pair Share (TPS) and the motivation to learn mathematics achievement increased. This can be shown by an increase in the average yield percentage of student motivation based on the observation sheet. Based on the observation sheet for each cycle is the first cycle of students at 62.50%, for the second cycle of 72.22%. While the average value of learning mathematics achievement of students increased from an average initial value of 72.12 into a 75.26 in the first cycle and the second cycle becomes 80.32. Given the learning model And Think Pair Share (TPS) to further encourage student motivation and also can improve students' mathematics learning achievement, the school is expected to apply the learning model.

The purposes of this study are to understand: (1) the tendency of mathematical achievement at grade VII that thougt by conventional methode, (2) the tendency of mathematical achievement at grade VII that thougt by joyful learning methode, (3) the effect of joyful learning methode using game’s board on integer subject matter to student instructional achievement at VII grade in SMP Muhammadiyah Sidareja on academic year 2013/2014. Hypotesis in this research was “ there was positive effect that caused by implementation of joyful learning methode using game’s board on integer subject matter. This research used experimental method, wich the experimental group taught by joyful learning methode compared to control group that taught by conventional methode. The number of student in experimental group and control group were equal, 36 student. Data gained with documentation and test technique. From the paired t test, the result of this research showed that the value of   was 3,716 compared to  = ‒2, 030 can be concluded that the hypotesis was accepted. From the comparison of experimental group mean and control group mean can be interpretated that experimental group mean was better than control group mean; 16,89 > 14,56. From this research can be suggested to the teacher to use joyful learning methode on integer subject matter.

Abstarct: The purpose of this research for improve the motivation and the study result of the student in the mathematic lessons using cooperative learning type Snowball throwing in the VII A grade of the SMP kartika XII-1 Magelang. The type of this research is a classroom action research. The subject of the research are the students grade VII A SMP Kartika XII-1 Magelang it consists of 20 students. The objective of the research is motivation and mathematic learning result by using a cooperative model in snowball throwing type. The result of the study shows that after this learning model, students’ motivation and study result has an increase. Students’ motivation has increase in pre cycle from 68% become 79,5% in cycle II. Beside that the subjection average of students study result has an increase in pre cycle shows 64,25 with Minimum Completenes Criteria ‘KKM’ is 35 % consists of 7 students. In cycle I has an increase become 69,67 with KKM is 60 % consist of 12 students where as in cycle II shows the increase become 77,94 with KKM is 80% consist of 16 students.

The purpose of the study to describe the process of cooperative learning Group Investigation ( GI ) in order to increase motivation and learning mathematics class VII C SMP N 1 Nglipar Gunungkidul . This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted a minimum of two cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class VII C SMP N 1 Nglipar Gunungkidul totaling 32 students. The object of this study was motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics. The results showed that motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics has increased. Average percentage yield motivation questionnaire on pre cycle of 67.27 %, in the first cycle increased by 11.36 % to 78.64 %. In the second cycle increased by 6.57 % to 85.21 %. Initial ability to use the average value of the first half of the middle repeat is 59.84 with KKM attainment percentage of 13%. In the first cycle, the average increased 7.03 percentage points to 63.87 with KKM achievement by 53 %. In the second cycle an average increase of 6.22 percentage points to 73.09 with 63 % KKM achievement. This research aims at improving activeness and mathemathics learning achievement through cooperative learning model ; Teams accelerated-instruction (TAI) type. The hypothesis of the action research is that cooperative learning model ; Teams accelerated-instruction type is able to improve activeness and mathemathics learning achievement on 7th grade students in SMP Negeri 3 Pengasih Kulon Progo at 2012/2013 academic year.  This research is Classroom Action Research using quasi-experiment method conducted at least in two cycles. The subject of the research is 32 students of class VII A in SMP Negeri 3 Pengasih Kulon progo while the research object is mathematics learning process through cooperative learning model ; Teams accelerated-instruction type intended to know the degree of srudents’ activeness and mathemathics learning achievement in SMP Negeri 3 Pengasih Kulon Progo. Data collection techniques in the research are observation sheets, documentation and field notes. The instruments used are observation sheets and achievement test. The instrument try-out is validity and reliability test. The result of the research shows that after being applied cooperative learning model ; Teams accelerated-instruction type in the classroom, the students’ activeness and mathemathics learning achievement is improving. The improvement is indicated that there is an increased percentage average on observation sheets of mathemathics learning achievement in each cycle. The first cycle’s increased average is 49,61% categorized as moderate level and the second one is 69,33% categorized as high level. Seen from the average of students’ mathemathics learning achievement, there is also improvement. The average of the students’ prior knowledge related to mathemathics learning achievement is 65,63 fulfiled 53,12 % Minimum Crietria of learning Mastery (17 students). The first cycle shows that the average of the students’ mathemathics learning achievement is 70,09 fulfiled 59,38 % Minimum Crietria of learning Mastery (19 students). The second cycle shows that the average of the students’ mathemathics learning achievement is 79,18 fulfiled 71,9 % Minimum Crietria of learning Mastery (23 students). Accordingly , it is recommended for mathematics teachers to apply cooperative learning model ; Teams accelerated-instruction type to solve the problems emerged in the learning process.

The purposes of this research were to increase the activity and learning resultMathematics with Open Ended learning approach in 10th grade students of TamanMadya Jetis Yogyakarta Senior high school. The research was Classroom ActionResearch (CAR). The subjects in this study were 10th grade students of TamanMadya Jetis Yogyakarta Senior high school totaling 28 students, while the object islearning Mathematics with Opend Ended approach to increase the activity andlearning result in 10th grade students of Taman Madya Jetis Yogyakarta Senior highschool. The results showed that after the application of Open Ended learningapproach, activity and learning result of students has increased. This can be shownby an increase in the percentage average questionnaire student activity from 70.24%to 74.14% pre-action into the after action. The increasing in the percentage averageviewed from the observation of student activity amounting 43.21% to 75.54% preactioninto the after action. Learning result of students also increased, judging fromthe average value of 71.86 into 79.23 in pre-cycle at the end of the first cycle, andincreased again at the end of the second cycle becomes 85. While the percentage ofcompleteness students ( with KKM 75 ) also increased, namely the pre-action by53.57% to 75% in the first cycle, increased again in the second cycle becomes92.86%. Can be inferred Open Ended learning approach can increase activity andstudents learning result mathematics.
