This PTBK aims to improve the understanding of the selection of academic interests of new class X students through classical guidance services at SMAN 5 Tangerang in the academic year 2017-2018. Research on Selection of academic interest of learners held a week after the activity of acceptance of new learners (PPDB). The subjects of the study were all new students class X SMAN 5 Tangerang amounted to 340. Data collected through questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The hypothesis of classical counseling services can improve the understanding of learners in the selection of MIPA group academic and IPS group interests based on the ability, talent, interests, aspirations, and aspirations of parents.The results obtained data that classical guidance services can improve the understanding of the academic interests of new learners to select MIPA and IPS interest groups based on the ability, talents, interests, aspirations and aspirations of parents.Key Words: Elections, Academic Interest, Classical Guidance.

Self Regulated Learning (Study for regular and training students). This study aims to describe self regulated learning of regular students and training, and to test the difference of self regulated learning of regular and training class students.The samples used are 65 students of SMA N 5 Padang selected with purposive sampling and simple random sampling technique The instrument used is "Self Regulated Learning Scale" (SSRL) with reliability of 0.817.Research findings show that (1) self regulated learning of regular class students and training is quite good, (2) there are differences of self regulated learning of regular students with training class students, where regular class students have self-regulated learning better than the students of the training class. This Research is triggered by low of students’ learning motivation. The purpose of This Research are to: 1) describe students’ learning motivation of female gender, 2) describe students’ learning motivation of male gender, and 3) Differences students’ learning motivation of female gender and male gender. This research used a descriptive differencial quantitative method. The population of this research were X, XI, and XII grade of SMK Swasta Bandung 1 & 2 which totally 240 students. The sample of this research were 150 students, that selected by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. In this research, the researcher used scale as the instrument. The result of validity and reliability of students’ learning motivation state that the instrument of this research was valid and reliable. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and t-test. The finding of this research are: 1) on avarage students’ learning motivation of female gender are in high category, 2) on avarage students’ learning motivation of male gender are in high category, 3) there were significant differences between students’ learning motivation of female gender and male gender. This study aims to determine the influence of transformational leadership and the quality of work life to organizational commitment. The study involved 200 employees plantation. Data were collected by using scales of transformational leadership, quality of work life and organizational commitment. The data analyzed by multiple linear regression. The results showed that transformational leadership and quality of work life influenced significantly toward organizational commitment (R= 0.480, = 0.230, F= 29.484; P<0.01). Transformational leadership and the quality of working life made a significant contribution to the improving of employees' organizational commitment. Results of this study are expected to provide an understanding of how transformational leadership and quality of work life influence organizational commitment of employees, and also provide an insight to the company about the level of organizational commitment of employees, employees perceptions about the role of transformational leadership as well as an overview about quality of working life of employees. MENGURANGI PERILAKU MEROKOK PADA SISWA MELALUI LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK Nunuk Yuli Sulistyoningrum

This research aims to gain an overview of the extent to which the Group Guidance service can help reduce the smoking behavior. This research use approach Research Tindakah class (PTK). The subject of research is the grade 5 State JUNIOR IXC Tangerang. The results showed that: (1) smoking on the Behavior of students before treatmen indicates the level of smoking behaviour of students, i.e. 2 (33.33%) of 6 students behave the smoking medium, and 4 (66.67%) of 6 students behave smoke light, (2) The smoking behavior in students after the treatmen show 1 (16.67%) of 6 students behave and smoked 5 (83.33%) of 6 students behave smoke is low, but if viewed from the results of the questionnaire, the sixth field is the student experience the decrease against merokoknya behavior, (3) there is a significant difference between before the given service through the guidance of the Group and after the given service through the guidance of the group. Career decision making style is individual characteristics in observing and responding to decision-making tasks, and acting in making decisions. The decisionmaking style is divided into three styles: rational, intuitive, and dependent. This study aims to describe the career decision making style of new students Guidance and CounselingMuhammadiyah University of North Sumatera academic year 2017-2018. The population in this study are 109 new students of guidance and counseling program of University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara academic year 2017-2018, and all of population researched in this research. The instrument used in this study is the assessment of decision-making styles adapted from Harren's ACDM (1979). The results showed that 1. 38% of new students Guidance and Counseling Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatera have Rational career decision making style, 2. 35% of new students Guidance and Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatera have Dependen career decision making style, and 3 25% of new students Guidance and Counseling Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatera have intuitive career decision making style. Internet has a variety of information resources and has many benefits for the wearer, especially students. In fact is the student is less appropriate in utilizing the internet to learn. The purpose of this research is to describe student’s internet use. Research used quantitative with descriptive method. Population of research is 625 and 244 samples of guidance and counseling majors students, Universitas Negeri Padang. Instruments of this research used Likert scale model, value of reliability are 0.841 and 0.842. Data were Analyzed with simple regression.
