Abstract

Study skill is the skill acquired by training student and learning can Enhance independence. In fact, there are many students who have not good study skill. Achievement motivation is one of the factors that prediction students study skill. The purpose of this research is to examine the contribution of achievement motivation toward study skill. This research used quantitative with descriptive correlation method. The population of this research is 625 and 244 samples of guidance and counseling majors students, UniversitasNegeri Padang. The instruments of the research used the Likert scale model, value of reliability are 0.841 and 0.842. The Data were Analyzed with simple regression. The result of this research shows that there is a contribution (25.2%) of achievement motivation toward study skill.

Abstract

Internet has a variety of information resources and has many benefits for the wearer, especially students. In fact is the student is less appropriate in utilizing the internet to learn. The purpose of this research is to describe student’s internet use. Research used quantitative with descriptive  method. Population of research is 625 and 244 samples of guidance and counseling majors students, Universitas Negeri Padang. Instruments of this research used  Likert scale model, value of reliability are 0.841 and 0.842. Data were Analyzed with simple regression. Abstract

Student must be have study skill, for study and increase achievement study. This research was based on various problems were still many students who have not had a good study skill . The purpose of this research is to describe internet use for study skill. This research used a quantitative method of descriptive. The population of this research were students in IAIN Takengon. The sample of this research amount to 44 students, that selected by using random sampling technique. The instrument of the research was a Likert Scale. Data is analyzed with descriptive statistic. The research findings show that  on general tudy skill is on quite well category.

Abstract

Motivasi berprestasi adalah keinginan menyelesaikan sesuatu, untuk mencapai suatu standar kesuksesan, dan berusaha dengan tujuan mencapai kesuksesan, adanya motivasi, siswa akan belajar lebih keras, ulet, tekun, dan memiliki konsentrasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Mahasiswa  memiliki tingkat motivasi yang berbeda-beda. Sehingga penelitian bertujuan untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan tingkat motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa, 2) Mendeskripsikan peran UPBK dalam mengoptimalkan motivasi berprestasi. Adapun metodologi penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode kuantitatif jenis deskriptif dengan menggunakan skala likert. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah mahasiswa BK UNP berjumlah 624 dan sample berjumlah 244 orang mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Abstract

Keterampilan mencatat adalah salah satu keterampilan dasar yang harus dimiliki siswa. Namun siswa tidak memiliki keterampilan mencatat. Hal ini akan berdampak pada proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mencatat melalui layanan konten “mind mapping”. Adapun hasi penelitian menunjukkan siswa yang mengimplementasikan mind mapping pada proses pembelajaran akan mengamati atau memperhatin guru, membaca buku referensi, kemudian mencatat secara ringkas dan padat materi yang disampaikan menggunakan Bahasa sendiri dan dengan kemampuan ataupun kreativitas yang dimilikinya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan program bimbingan dan konseling (BK) di SMA N 1 Takengon, Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Penelitian dilakukan dari Mei hingga Juni 2024. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua guru BK dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program BK di SMA N 1 Takengon mencakup berbagai kegiatan yang dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa dalam aspek akademik, karir, pribadi, dan sosial. Program harian, mingguan, bulanan, dan semesteran diimplementasikan dengan baik meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaannya. Dukungan dari pihak manajemen dan staf sekolah sangat berperan dalam kesuksesan program ini. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting tentang efektivitas program BK di sekolah dan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang pendidikanKata kunci : Pelaksanaan Program, Bimbingan dan Konseling

Abstract

Evaluasi program dalam layanan bimbingan konseling biasanya dilakukan oleh guru bimbingan konseling. Proses evaluasi program dilakukan untuk melihat program yang perlu dikembangkan dan perbaikan program bimbingan konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas evaluasi program layanan bimbingan dan konseling di SMA N 2 Takengon. Motode penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data primer diperoleh dari guru Bimbingan Konseling di sekolah tersebut dan data sekunder dari hasil telaah, buku, referensi atau dokumentasi . Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa evaluasi program bimbingan konseling dilakukan dua kali dalam setahun, dengan fokus pada capaian melalui penilaian Laiseg, Laijapen, Laijapang dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam evaluasi program BK yaitu keterbatasan waktu serta upaya guru BK dalam mengatasi kendala dalam proses evaluasi program BK. Kesimpulan bahwa evaluasi program bimbingan konseling memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang pencapaian program bimbingan konseling serta area yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam meningkatkan program bimbingan untuk masa depan yang akan datang untuk perkembangan peserta didik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik prefensi mahasiswa BKPI berdasarkan data diri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kuantitatif jenis deskriptif. Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa BKPI semester I, III, V, dan VII yang berjumlah 117 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner di sebar melalui Google form yang berisi pertanyaan terstruktur mencakup aspek biodata pribadi, asal (domisili), data orang tua, sosial ekonomi, latar belakang akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variasi karakteristik mahasiswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin di dominasi oleh perempuan sebesar (85.5%). Usia mahasiswa BKPI didominasi umur 17-18 (mahasiswa semester I) sebesar 44,8%. Mahasiswa BKPI mayoritas masyarakat Kabupaten Aceh Tengah khususnya kota Takengon. Berdasarkan sosial ekonomi mahasiswa berada pada kategori menengah ke bawah dengan presentasi 86,2%. Latar belakang Pendidikan mahasiswa didominasi dari tamatan SMA sebanyak 62,1%.

Abstract

Career planning is the process of individuals conducting an assessment of themselves and the world of work, planning steps to achieve career choices, and making rational reasoning before deciding the desired career. The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) How is the career planning of final semester students?, and 2) What are the factors that influence students in career planning?. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and literature review. Data were analyzed using data triangulation method. The informants in the research were the final semester students of the Tarbiyah faculty of IAIN Takengon totaling 15 people. The results showed that students already had career plans starting from introducing themselves and the world of work, as well as establishing communication and looking for job vacancies using internet media, finally deciding to apply for work in the desired place. Factors that influence student career planning include needs, parents and environment, interests, and skills.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to describe the role of sports activities in improving students' mental health through Guidance and Counselling services at Takengon 4th State Senior High School. Research Methodology / Design / Approach-A qualitative approach with descriptive methods was used. The research subjects included guidance counsellors, physical education teachers, the principal, and students selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was maintained through triangulation of sources, techniques, and member checks. Finding- The results showed that sports activities had a significant positive impact on students' mental health, particularly in reducing stress and anxiety and increasing self-confidence. Guidance and counselling services act as facilitators by integrating sports activities into student development programmes to support psychological well-being. Originality/Value-The synergy between sports and guidance and counselling services creates a more conducive learning environment, builds social skills, and reinforces positive values such as discipline and cooperation. Thus, sports activities integrated with guidance and counselling services are an effective strategy for improving students' mental health.
