Abstract

The importance of training and development, and the growing complexity of the work environment in present day society, cannot be over emphasized. Training and development ensure that organizational staff possess the knowledge and skills needed to perform their jobs effectively and adapt to ever changing technology. This paper uses desk research to evaluate work carried out related to training and manpower development, especially debate centered on how to improve the quality of staff performance. The study finds that, although a host of workshops, seminars and training are available, few are assessed due to the differences between budgetary provisions and actual funds released, for various years, at both federal and state levels.

Abstract

The Effect of Instructional Strategies, Achievement Motivation, and Communication Skills toward Learning Outcomes of PGSD on PGSD. The purpose of this research were to compare the effectiveness of the use of instructional strategies, achievement motivation, and communication skills of PGSD students in the PMPIPS-SD subject. A quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design was carried out to achieve the goals. The data were analyzed by three-way ANOVA with SPSS 16,0 for windows. The research result showed that the learning outcomes students of the PMPIPS-SD subject taught by using PK-IK strategy was better than that using PN-DK strategy, the students who had high achievement motivation better than who had low one, the students who had high communication skills better than who had low one.

Abstract

Medical waste has three forms; solid, liquid and gas which derives from hospital activities which contains microorganism, chemical material and radioactive substances. Based on description above, this research was necessary to be conducted to handle the negative impact of medical waste to the environment. The research objectives were 1) in order to know the medical waste management system of Wangaya Hospital in Denpasar, and 2) studying more about medical waste quality of Wangaya Hospital in Denpasar. The research was a case study in using method that was designed by combining the observation data with the laboratory data analyses. The research location was in Denpasar of Wangaya Hospital (B type) regarding on the high occupancy rate of the patient was compared to other hospital (B type) in Bali. The research results was to show that 1) the medical waste management of Wangaya Hospital in Denpasar was suitable yet to meet  the procedure of medical waste from Decree of Minister of health No.1204 in 2004, regarding Health Condition of Environmental Hospital. The laboratory results show that the medical waste quality in Denpasar Wangaya Hospital was above the maximum of standard limit based on Decree of Minister No. 58/MENLH/12/2004. The ashes of incinerated medical waste contained a Hg heavy metal until 2,39 ppm. Based on the research results it was concluded that the management system of medical waste in Denpasar Wangaya Hospital was suitable yet with the procedure, and the medical waste quality of outputs that was released into the environment still exceeding the maximum standard limit. Therefore, it is recommended that Denpasar Wangaya Hospital should undertake the evaluation in management system of the medical waste and its treatment plan to reduce the effluent in its output products in order to comply with the standard limit.

Abstract

It is evident that our country is growing in a excellent manner. As equal as to the developed nation, India is equally contributing in the car market and several companies came in to India and challenging with Indian companies in car segment. Automobile industry is one of the major area in contributing tremendous growth in GDP. No doubt that car is a essential product for all income group and the college teachers are highly targeted customers for small car segment. The distributors are attracting the middle income group for selling their small cars through various attractive scheme in Krishnagiri district. Most of the teachers are from rural background but having family support for improving their life style. Having a car for a teacher, who is working in either private or Government College is a prestige issue and approaching the dealers for selecting their choice in car segments. According to the environmental condition and stressful traffic system, the road condition in rural areas are not improved for safety car driving. In India it is a slogan of any individual to have a house, a car and attractive life style with living place.

Abstract

Many and different manuscript were produced for centuries using Gəʼəz the classical language of Ethiopia, including the royal chronicles. The chronicle of king Bäkaffa (1721 -1730) was composed in Gəʼəz which was published under the title of Annals Rine Bäkaffa.by Ignazio Guidi in 1903. It is originally written by Azaži Sinoda and his son Kǝnfä Mikael. The chronicle was not analyzed philologically. The main objective of this study is to show the content of the chronicle and to give brief textual analysis. By doing this I have tried to analyzed the influence of Amharic words, linguistics differences, and biblical allusions
