Abstract

Abstract  IPTV offers digital television services over Internet Protocol (IP) for the ubscribers at a lower cost. Despite all the attractive IPTV services, it also requires high-speed access networks with the functions of multicasting, Quality-of-Services (QoS) guarantee and so on. In the access networks, Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) is regarded as one of the best technology to meet the higher bandwidth demands applications such as IPTV. There are two common mechanisms used for delivering IPTV to the users in the EPON system such as, dedicated stream and multicast stream. The dedicated stream is not scalable to a large number of clients because of the limited bandwidth and resource consumption at the server side. Conversely, although multicast could be used as a scalable solution for media streaming, but providing such services in the EPON is still challenging due to some limitations in the EPON system. In this paper, we propose a new mechanism that is a Single Copy Broadcast (SCB) with Priority Queue (PQ) mechanism that can accommodate large number of clients IPTV streams without adding extra bandwidth and resources at the Optical Line Terminal (OLT). Simulation results have shown that our proposed mechanism can improve the QoS metrics and system performance in terms of bandwidth consumption and power consumption.Keywords— IPTV, QoS, EPON, Unicast, Multicast, Single Copy Broadcast

Abstract

Abstracts: The results of architectural planning of e-Procurement information system uses a  model approach to the concept of value chain with value matrix method. Analysis of the concept value matrix to describe a complete map of the business opportunities in order to frame the foundation for creating a competitive advantage in cyberspace. This includes an overview of the environment and the system used, such as source and purchase contracts, purchase methods, process guidelines and requirements, as well as the level of automationand technology purchases. Through the implementation of an integrated information system is expected to reach the stage of competence in business process synchronization, convergence, integrity and interoperability. Abstract

AbstrakAdministrasi persuratan merupakan kegiatan operasional rutin dilakukan oleh setiap personal dalam suatu organisasi atau perkantoran. Setiap kegiatan baik secara personal maupun organisasi umumnya tertuang dalam suatu dokumen/surat. Lalu lintas dokumen, surat, nota, memo, dinas. Bahkan dari mulai tahap rencana sampai dengan akhir kegiatan atau laporan. Surat-surat tersebut selain berfungsi sebagai sarana komunikasi antar personal, unit ataupun organisasi yang berfungsi sebagai bukti formal kegiatan yang dapat dipertanggung jawabkan (aspek legalitas). Salah satu permasalahan yang timbul dalam studi kasus pada PDAM Tirta Mon Pase adalah ketidak efisienan pengolahan dan pengarsipan data surat yang masih menggunakan sistem manual. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai melalui perancangan sistem yang berbasis komputer adalah dapat membantu pegawai pada PDAM Tirta Mon Pase dalam melakukan pengolahan dan pengarsipan data surat sehingga pencarian surat yang dibutuhkan lebih cepat.Kata kunci : Sistem Informasi, Surat, Basis Data, DFD, ERD

Abstract

Promosi pada umumnya dilakukan untuk memperkenalkan atau memberitahu sebuah informasi mengenai produk atau jasa yang dimiliki oleh suatu instansi yang tujuannyaadalah untuk mempengaruhi atau menarik minat para masyarakat untuk mencoba dan membeli, atau menggunakan produk atau jasa yang ditawarkan oleh instansi tersebut. Banyak dari peruashaan atau instansi menggunakan jenis media cetak untuk mempromosikan produk atau jasa salah satunya yaitu brosur. Brosur adalah jenis media informasi yang berupa selembar kertas yang didalamnya terdapat informasi mengenai produk atau jasa yang ditawarkan agar produk dan jasa tersebut dapat dikenal dimasarakat. Seperti yang dilakukan oleh Yayasan Perguruan Pribadi ialah salah satu instansi yang bergerak dalam bidang pendidikan di Kota Tangerang. Untuk meningkatkan jumlah peserta didik baru disetiap tahunnya maka SMA Pribadi 2 Kota Tangerang harus memiliki sebuah media promosi dan informasi yangdapat menarik dan mencakup seluruh fasilitas dan aset yang ada di pada SMA Pribadi 2 Kota Tangerang. Oleh karena itu melalui Perancangan Desain Brosur Penunjang Informasi dan Promosi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan jumlah siswa siswi SMA Pribadi 2 Kota Tangerang ditahun berikutnya dan SMA Pribadi 2 Kota Tangerang dapat dikenal lebih luas agar para masyarakat dapat menimbah ilmu pada SMA Pribadi 2 Kota Tangerang.

Abstract

Abstracts : The introduction or replacement of an information system and organizational behavioral impact is very complicated. Changes in how information is defined, accessed, and used to manage organizational resources often result in power sharing and a new strength. This condition is usually caused by mistakes in managing the transition phase. A process of change and implementation have a psychological impact on those affected by change (internal), where if the changes actually happen, will cause the impact ofsituational for others associated with the organization. Control project risk fa ctors to some extent by the approach just in case. This research uses the concept of integrated project management with a total solution approach, namely awareness, alignment, action, adoption, assurance. This total solution approach through four important stages, namely the determination of the diagnostic phase, redesigning the organization, organizational transformation and continuous improvement with diagrams aids Delta Matrix. Overall information system design and implementation process should be managed as a planned organizational change. Social and technical design aims to obtain an optimal combination of design solutions to social and technical. Key to the success of change management and implementation also relies heavily on the company's commitment, communication skills, focus on implementing change and not be bothered with other things, and utilize human resources to be able to implement the change process and implementation.Keywords: Change management, Implementation, total solution approach,and the delta matrix diagram

Abstract

AbstrakPerkembangan pesat Software-Defined Network telah dirasakan oleh vendor vendor besar. HP, Google dan IBM, mulai merubah pola routing-switching pada network mereka dari pola routingswitching tradisional ke pola infrastruktur routing-switching Software-defined Network. Untuk melakukan eksperimen tentang OpenFlow, para peneliti sering kali harus menggunakan perangkat hardware/dedicated switch OpenFlow yang dikeluarkan oleh beberapa vendor dengan harga yang tinggi. Kenyataannya, software-based switch OpenFlow (selanjutnya dalam penelitian ini digunakan istilah Switch OF software-based) masih belum teruji performanya, sehingga masih belum dapat menjadi acuan/rekomendasi yang tepat untuk dapat menggantikan perangkat dedicated switch OpenFlow yang berharga tinggi. Penelitian ini menguji performa dari switch OF software-based dengan membandingkannya dengan dedicated OpenFlow switch yang dipresentasikan oleh mininet dan dengan switch none OF. Performa switch OF software-based dapat dikatakan baik dengan hasil gap rata-rata pada setiap pengujian menunjukkan angka yang tidak tinggi. Pada pengujian jitter dapat dikatakan sama. Pada pengujian throughput protokol TCP, switch OF software-based memberikan hasil yang rendah dibandingkan dengan pembandingnya. Pada pengujian throughput protokol UDP, bandwidth yang diperoleh nilai gap throughput bandwidth protokol UDP rata-rata switch OF software-based lebih tinggi dibandingkan switch non OF dan lebih rendah dibandingkan mininet. Switch OF software-based dapat digunakan untuk menggantikan dedicated openflow switch untuk mengimplementasikan SDN baik pada sekala menengah dan kampus.Kata kunci: switch OpenFlow software-based, Software-Defined Network, Uji performa

Abstract

Abstract: Design of Earthquake Point Information Android-Base Application in Indonesia. Indonesia is a country located in the ring of fire or fire circle where an area often experience earthquakes and volcanic eruptions caused by the friction of the earth. This area is shaped like a horseshoe covers an area of 40,000 km long. Thus require an information about the rapid earthquake information and notifications directly in order to avoid things that are not desirable. For example, when the earthquake and tsunami in Aceh on Sunday morning, December 26, 2004. Magnitude 8.5 on the Richter scale resulted Approximately 500,000 lives lost in an instant around the edge of the world that is directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. And Indonesia alone Approximately 126,000 casualties casualties. This is all due to the lack of information about earthquake faced. The purpose of this study is: to design an application that can provide location information where the latest quake which areas are affected by the earthquake by using mobile devices and can provide locations of seismic information can be viewed as Maps and Google Maps. The research method is the Data Collection Techniques to approach literature studies and experiments and observations.The results showed that the application provides a solution to the Indonesian public about the latest earthquake information, so that information is mobile earthquake can be accessed anytime and anywhere with the help of BMKG. Keywords: Design, Point Earthquake, Android.

Abstract

Abstrak :Information technology (IT), teknologi Internet pada khususnya telah membawa perubahan dalam praktik bisnis dan pemasaran, di mana hampir semua aktivitas dan praktik business, commerce, dan marketing dapat dijalankan secara elektronik. Hal ini terlihat pada istilah/kata seperti“electronic business (e-business)”,“electronic commerce (e-commerce), dan“electronic marketing (e-marketing)” yang artinya disiplin ilmu tersebut telah teraplikasi dalam information dan communication technology (ICT) dan telah dipraktikan secara elektronik. Meskipun demikian, sampai saat ini masih belum ada keseragaman dalam hal definisi dan konsep e-business, e-commerce, dan e-marketing bahkan terjadi tumpang tindih (overlap) satu sama lain dalam praktik. Selain dapat membentuk wawasan berpikir yang terfokus, konsep dan definisi yang tepat baik dalam pengertian luas maupun pengertian sempit akan memberi manfaat untuk menjustifikasi posisi diri kita sendiri baik dari aspek disiplin ilmu maunpun dalam praktik. Paper ini mereview literature dari berbagai sumber buku dan jurnal mengenai konsep dan definisi e-business, e-commerce, dan e-marketing yang tepat, dikatkan dengan penelitian ProfessorMeng dari Universitas Guan Dong berjudul“Study on Combining e-commerce and e-marketing” Mei 2010 yang sedikit banyak telah menginspirasi pembahasan paper ini dan sekaligus menjadikannya sebagai studi kasus paper ini. Abstract

AbstrakDalam mencari produk susu yang paling banyak diminati oleh konsumen tentunya konsumen harus mampu menentukan dan memilih produk susu bayi yang paling banyak dikonsumsi. Banyak produk susu bayi yang beredar di pasaran tetapi tidak semua produk susu bayi tersebut banyak dibeli oleh konsumen terutama ibu rumah tangga yang membutuhkan susu bayi yang bermanfaat bagi bayi mereka, ada susu bayi hanya dikonsumsi oleh beberapa orang saja, hal tersebut terjadi dikarenakan ada beberapa masalah diantaranya mengenai, harga, daya tahan, jumlah protein, jumlah mineral dan sebagainya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini memberikan referensi dan kemudahaan bagi para konsumen yang memiliki bayi untuk memilih susu formula mana yang paling baik berdasarkan nilai rangking yang diperoleh masing masing produk susu. Susu formula bayi berbentuk cairan atau bubuk yang dibuat secara instan dengan formula tertentu dan memiliki kandungan nilai gizi, AA, DHA, Protein, Vitamin dan Mineral untuk perkembangan otak, jaringan otot dan tulang rangka, diberikan pada bayi dan anak-anak yang berfungsi sebagai pengganti ASI. Analytic Network Process (ANP) metode yang terdiri dari kriteria dan alternative yang memiliki keterhubungan antara elemen yang ada dalam kriteria (Ineer Dependence) dengan elemen yang ada di luar kriteria (Outer Dependence) memiliki kemampuan mendapatkan peringkat prioritas alternatif sebagai acuan pengambilan keputusan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan dari dari hasil pengolahan data, dapat diketahui bahwa Susu Bayi Lactogen mendapat rangking 1 dengan bobot prioritas paling besar sebesar 0.2001atau 20%, peringkat 2 adalah Bebelac dengan bobot prioritasnya 0.1925 atau 19%, peringkat 3 adalah Nutrilon dengan bobot prioritasnya 0.1668 atau 17%, peringkat 4 adalah Lactona dengan bobot prioritasnya 0.1594 atau 16%, peringkat 5 adalah SGM dengan bobot prioritasnya 0.1447 atau 15% dan peringkat 6 adalah Frisian Flag dengan bobot prioritasnya 0.1365 atau 14%. Dari hasil tersebut maka Susu Bayi Bebelac memiliki bobot paling besar dan paling banyak dipergunakan oleh masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini kedepannya bisa menjadi referensi oleh peneliti dan masyarakat dalam memilih produk Susu Bayi yang bermanfaat.Kata Kunci: Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK), Analytic Network Process (ANP), Prioritas.

Abstract

Abstract : Animation industry in Indonesia seems to be very prosperous as can be seen from the big amount of animation production houses. However, these production houses are not supported by high end computer graphics as they require to render complex animation video since these kind of computers are very costly. Therefore, computer system which is cheap can process complex animation rendering is needed. In this research, we need to setup available PCs as cluster computer system doing the distributed rendering process and analyze its performance for many kinds of rendering tasks. The method used in this research is laboratory experiments on five computer units connected one another and clustering using DrQueue as middleware. This technique will lead to resources sharing and rendering process distribution. The results shows that, the tested cluster system of distributed rendering process can perform the computation more efficiently when done the complex animation rendering. The results shows that the value of efficiency is higher when render complex animation.Keyword: cluster, distributed rendering, paralel computing
