Abstract

Population control remains a major agenda for both the Indonesian government and the province of South Kalimantan. Based on the results of the population projections population increased significantly. In addition to issues of quantity, issues such as the quality of population, unbalanced population distribution is and incomplete population database are the focus of the government to increase the welfare of its inhabitants. These four issues of population are the focus of both the central government and other provinces in Indonesia. To overcome them the South Kalimantan provincial government must be smart because of the high quantity of its population, the population continues to increase due to the habit of marriage at an early age. Plus the age composition of the population of South Kalimantan is a group of young people. This is of course a supporting factor of birthrate. For that we need cooperation between several parties. Not only the government sector alone, non- government organizations also need to be included to jointly control the number of residents in the province of South Kalimantan.

Abstract

Marketing strategies are so important to be implemented in hajj and umroh travel agencies in Banjarmasin following the increase of competition. Marketing strategies become so necessary since it is the capital to face competition, to realize the goals of the companies and to continue satisfying the costumers. Hajj and umrah travel agents can implements several marketing strategies related to the product they offer, such as by doing segmentation, targeting dan positioning (STP) strategy, marketing mix strategy; differentiation strategy; and brand strategy.Strategi pemasaran begitu penting diterapkan oleh travel haji dan umroh di Banjarmasin seiring dengan meningkatnya persaingan. Strategi pemasaran menjadi penting karena strategi ini dapat menjadi modal untuk mengahadapi persaingan, membantu mewujudkan tujuan perusahaan dan dapat memberikan kepuasan bagi pelanggan secara berkelanjutan. Travel haji dan umroh dapat melakukan beberapa strategi pemasaran berkaitan dengan penawaran produknya, antara lain dengan melakukan strategi segmentasi, penetapan pasar sasaran, penetapan posisi (Segmentation, Targeting dan Positioning (STP)); strategi bauran pemasaran (marketing mix strategy); strategi diferensiasi (differentiation strategy); strategi merek (brand strategy).

Abstract

Instagram is one of the most popular social media in the new media age community, including the people of Indonesia. Based on survey data released by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) in 2016 there were 19.9 million Instagram accounts registered. Instagram not only uses the media to post pictures of daily activities, but already uses promotional facilities and to preserve the culture. Madihin is a culture originating from South Kalimantan. The @gazali_rumi account is an Instagram account that has Madihin art posts. Social media can be the latest innovation in preserving this traditional art, while social media has become a characteristic of modern society today.

Abstract

The Qur'an mentions dakwah as ahsanu qawla, good words and deeds. In such a context, when the mission is communicated by a preacher, then he or she must have good ethics if he or she wants to preach or to communicate with his or her audience. In addition, in delivering the messages preachers should adjust to the circumstances and the environment where they are preaching. Therefore, ethics is very important in the process of propagation and communication activities. Because ethics is the standard values as reference of behaviour. Without a good communication in preaching, one is considered as rude. Therefore, a preacher must first have good ethics and communication.

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of dakwah with multimedia through information and communication technologies in terms of urgency, the theological foundation and theoretical foundation. Da'wah can be done anytime and anywhere through a variety of media with the use of information and communication technology. The competence of communication means ability to communicate well, efficiently and effectively with anyone, any level locally, nationally and globally, as well as the control of IT for the benefit of the effectiveness of communication such as fax, email, etc. While personal competence in a broad sense is a high work ethic, hard work, discipline, honesty, simple and not wasteful

Abstract

Muslim preacher must have a high credibility be able to invite mankind to do good and avoid His prohibitions. High and low credibility of a preacher who portray himself as a communicator depends on public perception and social conditions in which he/she preaches. In this regard, there are many components of the assessment as an indicator whther the preacher considered as having high credibility in the eyes of society . One of the preachers may be deemed to have high credibility, when the assessment is viewed from the perspective of the people who focus more on formal education for example , or for some other people, which is important these preachers based schools and so on , of course the assessment is also supported by another component, so it can be said that preachers’ credibility is relative, but it should have to be comprehensive. Thus the level of credibility of the preacher can not be seen from one side only but must be viewed from a variety of other related components

Abstract

This paper reviewed the fact that many news stories about the Hajj that is always repeated every year, without being able to reveal how to parse problems that always accompany the implementation of the pilgrimage. Viewed from the standpoint of political economy, the news on Hajj is an economic commodity that is profitable for media owners. Therefore, the news about the Hajj continues to be exploited in order to improve the rating or newspaper circulation. It was concluded that the commodification of news on Hajj in Republika daily newspaper was part of the commodification of Islam. Commodification is done with a lot of news coverage of the Hajj which contains information about the Hajj. Commodification is also associated with an audience of many Republika’s readers thus attracting advertisers to advertise in the daily.Makalah ini mengulas tentang fakta banyaknya berita-berita tentang haji yang selalu berulang-ulang setiap tahun, tanpa dapat mengungkapkan bagaimana mengurai masalah yang selalu menyertai pelaksanaan ibadah haji. Dilihat dari sudut pandang ekonomi politik, pemberitaan haji merupakan komoditas ekonomi yang menguntungkan bagi pemilik media. Karena itu, berita-berita tentang haji terus dieksploitasi guna meningkatkan rating berita atau oplah surat kabar. Disimpulkan bahwa komodifikasi berita haji di SKH Republika merupakan bagian dari komodifikasi Islam. Komodifikasi dilakukan dengan banyak memuat berita liputan haji yang berisi informasi tentang haji. Komodifikasi juga terkait dengan khalayak pembaca Republika yang jumlahnya banyak sehingga menarik pengiklan untuk beriklan di harian Republika.

Abstract

Media cannot be separated from human lives, especially in digital era (IR 4.0); they aim to spread information to public and as a consequence affect public perspectives and behavior. From this point, media eventually functions to drive public opinion which in politics determine voter's choices; which in other words, media become political tools. Utilization of media for politics is significant as a winning strategy to increase electability of candidates and parties.

Abstract

Various diseases are natural, but there is also a non natural disease. It is deliberately sent by someone with supernatural powers. This disease is known as witchcraft and sorcery. Witchcraft is part of a black magic and is still believed to exist. The intent and purpose of the using witchcraft is usually for negative purposes, hurt, damage, or destructiom by inserting objects into the body of the victim with the help of magical creature such as genie and devils. Witchcraft is used as a way to weaken opponents. Elements  that must be present in it are persons who did it,  ritual or ceremony, objects, tools, and the mantra or prayer.  Witchcraft which is part of the magic, sorcery and a primitive form of religion still prevail in some communities in Indonesia. This takes place because some people in Indonesia believe in animism

Abstract

Dakwah activity based on enlightenment of the people, must necessarily require a comprehensive understanding of the religious tolerance. Tolerance which etymologically means patience, showing tolerance or patience should be reflected in the implementation of dakwah activities. Religious tolerance is very important when viewed from the condition of the nation and the State with a multi-ethnic, cultural, and religious social life. Therefore, through the mass media and dakwah-oriented religious action should not just be limited to the delivery of the message of Islam, but it must be coupled with a sense tolerant of different views and beliefs
