Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve the comprehension of using the model learning word square on the subject Civic Education third grade students State Elementary School Tanjungharjo. This research use class action research (PTK). The subject of the research was third class student, while its object was comprehension of concept Civic Education. The data gained of this research from observation result, test and documentation. The research result show, model learning word square can increase comprehension of concept Civic Education. It shows an increased outcomes pre-action around 66,80, on the first cycle increased to 72,88 and the second cycle increased to 80,57. The number of students have reached on pre-action as many as 11 students or 42,30%. First cycle increased to 15 students or 57,69%. At second cycle increasing significantly to 21 of the 26 students or 80,76%. The research result show that the use of learning word square can increase comprehension of concept Civic Education on the students State Elementary School Tanjungharjo, Nanggulan, Kulon Progo.

Abstract

Research to describe the implementation of character education through subjects Ketamansiswaan in elementary student’s Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The study, including research a qualitative. The subjects of this study consists of one headmaster, two teachers Ketamansiswaan, and six student at grade I to grade VI. The data collection this study uses interview, observation and documentation. The data collected were tested the validity of the way the extension of the participation, increased diligance, and triangulation. The data analysis for an interview with the collection of data, the reduction of data, the presentation of data, and the with drawal of the conclusion. The results of research showed that the implementation of character education through the Subject Ketamansiswaan in SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta academic year 2015/2016 is 1) the character education in lerningKetamansiswaan in the public has been implemented. The execution of the implementation of character education in primary school, Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta is habituation, integration into subjects, there are particular Ketamansiswaan, into the extra, there is also when boarding flash unit. In learning Ketamansiswaan own children are through the song or dolanan the child, 2) values of characters that appear each child is not the same or different with each other, values that includes the value of obedience, decency, neatness, culture and education. As for the characterto come out but has not yet appeared in learning Ketamansiswaan usually occurs in students a hyperactive on super active. In addition depends on the atmosphere or mood, 3) the obstacles that have emerged that many ABK. In fact, ABK can block and it’s hadr to be invited to work together well. The solution to overcome the barriers which are the handle students with special needs teacher should be extra patient. In addition, disseminate the program school to parents with how to use fliers, broadcast to television or radio, or the ceremony we announced to students or parents if any.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) an increase in the activity of the students in writing a narrative essay using model CIRC in class IV SDN Baciro Yogyakarta and (2) improving the skills of writing a narrative essay using model CIRC in class IV SDN Baciro Yogyakarta. This research is a classroom action research. Methods of data collection in this study using observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that (1) CIRC learning methods can enhance the activity of fourth grade students of SDN Baciro. An examination of the enthusiastic students in pre cycle of 33.33%, 52.38% cycle 1 and cycle II 90.48%. Attention students at prasiklus 52.38%, 85.71% first cycle, the second cycle of 95.23%. Prasiklus student activity at 66.66%, 90.48% cycle 1, cycle II 90.48%. Pre-cycle student persistence at 14.28%, 42.85% cycle 1, cycle II 85.71% and (2) the use of the learning model can improve the CIRC narrative essay writing skills in grade IV SDN Baciro Yogyakarta. Judging from the contents of the ideas presented pre-cycle increase of 14.28%, 23.80% cycle 1, cycle II 61.90%. Aspects pre-cycle completeness of the content increased from 23.80%, 61.90% cycle 1, cycle II 90.47%. Pre-cycle grammar increase of 14.28%, 42.85% cycle 1, cycle II 80.95%. Style: the choice of structure and vocabulary of pre-cycle 33.33%, 52.38% cycle 1, cycle II 61.90%. Spelling and Grammar on prasiklus 33.33%, 57.14% cycle 1, cycle II 90.47%. The results above indicate that that the CIRC learning model can improve the activity and narrative essay writing skills in grade IV SDN Baciro.

Abstract

Improving Learning Outcomes IPA Grade IV Model-prompting Probing in SDN Regunung Tengaran Semarang District 01 District 2 Semester academic year 2015/2016. Essay. Bachelor degree essay at PGSD the Faculty of Education Christian University Satya Discourse Salatiga. Supervisor Prof. Dr. Slameto, S.Pd., M.Pd. Classroom action research conducted in the fourth grade students of SDN Regunung Tengaran Semarang District 01 District Academic Year 2015/2016. The number of students as many as 26 people consisting of 16 male students and 10 female students. This study aims to improve learning outcomes using cooperative learning model Probing-prompting. This classroom action research conducted by two cycles, with one cycle of meetings to 2x and 1x reflection meeting. In each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, evaluation and reflection. Collecting data in this study was conducted with a written test to calculate increase student learning outcomes IPA fourth grade. Improving student learning outcomes occur gradually, in which student learning outcomes on student learning outcomes prasiklus 23% the number of students 6 children, the first cycle of 73% with the number of students 19 0rang children, cycle II 96% by number of students 25 students. Thus, learning is successful 88%> 80% of the indicators of success. This shows that the type cooperative learning-prompting probing can improve student learning outcomes in grade IV SDN Regunng Tengaran Semarang District 01 District Academic Year 2015/2016.

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe the learning process management for the inclusion class of chilren with special needs at SD Negeri Kepuhan Bantul school year 2015/2016. This research type is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the study consisted of a principal, teacher classroom, teachers special assistants, students, and parents of children with special needs. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained are tested its validity by increasing persistence, triangulation, and using reference materials. The data analysis technique that is performed with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research showed that: a) the management of the learning process at SD Negeri Kepuhan, include: (1) the learning plan; (2) the implementation of learning; (3) assessment of learning outcomes. b) the problem faced by the teacher learning process of the children with special needs were: (1) lack of GPK; (2) some of the classes are too many students with special needs; (3) teachers have difficulty in dealing with students Tuna Grahita; (4) the lack of cooperation of parents. c) Evaluation of the management of the implementation of inclusive education and learning management at SD Negeri Kepuhan, namely:(1) the overall evaluation of the implementation of inclusive education conducted by a questionnaire from Dikpora and the respondence is Principals and Teachers; (2) Evaluation of the learning management conducted by the Principal and parents.

Abstract

This study descriptively aimed to know (1) the category of motoric skill, (2) the category of intensity of the use of teaching media, and (3) the category of leaning achievement of science subject. This study correlatively aimed to know (1) correlation between motoric skill with leaning achievement of science subject, (2) correlation between intensity of the use of teaching media with leaning achievement of science subject, (3) correlation between motoric skill and intensity of the use of teaching media with leaning achievement of science subject among the fifth grade students of state elementary school in Alian District Kebumen in academic year 2015/2016. The type of this study was ex-post facto. Data collecting techniques used questionnaire and documentation. Data analyzing techniques used descriptive technique and hypothesis testing by using double regression with two predictors that was started by normality test and linearity test. This study shows that the correlation coefficient of each independent variable had a positive correlation with dependent variable. The study shows that there was a positive and significant correlation between motoric skill and intensity of the use of teaching mediawith leaning achievement of science subject(R = 0.50 and Freg = 16.42). The score of = 0.24, it means that motoric skill had a positive and very significant correlation with learning achievement of science subject. The score of = 0.37, it means that intensity of the use of teaching media had a positive and very significant correlation with learning achievement of science subject. Based on those results, it could be concluded that that there was a positive and very significant correlation between motoric skill and intensity of the use of teaching mediatogether with leaning achievement of science subject among the fifth grade students of state elementary school in Alian District Kebumen in academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning results operation count through the Method of Problem Solving.Subject research is teacher and students off class 1 Pujokusuman elementary school, Keparakan, Mergangsan Yogyakarta.Research instruments validated the approval from expert judgment. Data research collected by a test and a observation. Data analysis should be conducted in every cycles. Quantitative data analyzed using analysis descriptive quantitative. Qualitative analyzed data on using analysis descriptive qualitative with a step reduction data, exposure, and resume. This result of the study provide a there is an increase study results operation count, through a method of the problem Solving. This increase seen in the Minimal Achievement Criteriaat least which was originally at the cycle of 46, 25 % to 86, 43 in the cycle to two.

Abstract

Education must be able to accommodate towards to all those differences, and must provide all the students need as well encouraging them to actively participate in the learning process. The teaching process in class is still not giving the best support towards each student’s need. Most teachers still have a mindset that all students must have the same ability and has no clue how to probe the students need. The teaching process that’s been given are usually seem monotone and still using the teacher centered procedure, this procedure will hampering the critical thinking of students. I will share about the implementation from one of learning model which is differentiating instruction. This model can accommodate diversity students based on different readiness levels, interests and learning profile.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe improve the activity and learning achievement of mathematics solve story question using a cooperative learning model in five grade students of State Primery School ofPleret Kidul Panjatan. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects were students in five grade students of State Primery School of Pleret Kidul Panjatan, the number of students 23 people. The object of this study was the increase in activity and learning achievement of solving story questions using of cooperative learning model. Data collection technique used tests to obtain data on student achievement, observation to obtain data on student activity and documentation to strengthen data have been obtained from observation and learning outcomes. Learning achievement data analysis techniques performed by calculating the average value of students who meet KKM observation and analysis of the activity is done by calculating the percentage of aspects of the activity of each student. The validity of the item using the product moment, the reliability problem by using KR-20. The results showed an increase in activity and learning achievement of students. This can be demonstrated by an increase in average pratindakan student activity by 42% and after a given action first cycle increased to 72%. Then the second cycle the average activity of students increased significantly to 88%. Mathematics learning achievement of students also increased, namely on pratindakan there are 8 students or 35% of students have met KKM with an average value of 59. In the first cycle increased with an average value of 69, there were 13 students or 57% of students have met the KKM. In the second cycle a significant increase, the number of students who meet KKM as many as 17 students or 74% of students with an average value of 76. Thus, teachers are advised to apply the model of cooperative learning as an alternative to improve the activity and learning achievement of students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference score students’ social skills (social responsibility, cooperation, and tolerance) among students who attend the lecture course learning methods and simulation methods that the lecture method.This research is a quasi experimentation with pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was all students of class 2012 PGSD UPY. Sampel selected by random sampling technique to determine the experimental class. Data obtained by questionnaire with Likert scale and observation sheet to collect data about students’ social skills. Data were analyzed using statistical techniques Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA) and a significance test with α = 0.05. From this study showed that there are significant differences on social skills among students who attend lectures with simulation methods and the students who attend the lecture by lecture method. Social skills (social responsibility, cooperation, and tolerance) students of the experimental class (class using simulation method) higher than the social skills of students in the control class (classes using lecture method) because the simulation method is more interactive, centered on the student, cooperative and creative. Class teaching methodology using simulation method is more effective in improving students’ social skills (social responsibility, cooperation, tolerance) compared with the lecture method.
