Abstract

This study aimed to know: (1) The implementation of democratic values, (2) Proponent and  obstacle  factors,  and  (3) The  solution  to  cover  barrier  to  the  implementation  of  democratic values through civics education. The type of this study was a descriptive and qualitative research. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis technique were conducted by reducing, interpreting, and concluding the data. The result of the research shows (1) The implementation of democratic values is done by entering the democratic values in syllabus and lesson plan include tolerance, cooperation, freedom of opinion, mutual respect and confidence. (2) The proponent factors are learning facilities, school culture and school leadership. The obstacle factors arethe decreas of parents proponent, in the circle of society, and difference of person. (3) The solutions areconscious from parents to have pay attention their children, community involvement, and establish good communication with students.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap prestasi belajar IPA kelas V semester genap SD Jurugentong Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian secara deskriptif yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan saintifik termasuk kategori tinggi dan yang pembelajarannya dengan menggunakan pendekatan konvensional termasuk kategori sedang. Secara komparatif, hasil analisis diperoleh nilai thitung = 2,596 dengan p = 0,011. Dengan demikian, ada perbedaan yang signifikan prestasi belajar IPA antara yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan saintifik dan yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan konvensional. Bila dilihat skor rata-ratanya, ternyata skor rerata prestasi belajar IPA yang diajar dengan pendekatan saintifik lebih tinggi daripada yang diajar dengan pendekatan konvensional. Hal ini berarti ada pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap prestasi belajar IPA siswa kelas V semester genap SD Jurugentong, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.

Abstract

Negative perceptions about math in elementary school students resulted in less active students in the learning process, student engagement in learning is very important for students to understand the material presented. Based on these problems, teachers need to develop innovative learning models that can melibatka Math students in the learning process. This study aimed to describe the learning that can improve the activity of learning integers fifth grade students through a learning model Bamboo Dancing. The research method is a classroom action research with research subjects fourth grade students of SDN 35 Kebonsari 1 Malang. The products of this research is learning design study model bamboo dancing. The results show the percentage of students 'learning activeness in the first cycle of 80% with good liveliness criteria, then the second cycle students' learning activeness on the second cycle increased to 92.5% with the liveliness of the criteria very well. Based on this model study of bamboo dancing can enhance the activity of learning integers fifth grade students of SDN Kebonsari 1 Malang.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan sederhana menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture pada siswa kelas III SDN 1 Gondangwayang Temanggung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016.Hipotesis penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan sederhana pada siswa kelas III SDN 1 Gondangwayang Temanggung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SDN 1 Gondangwayang Temanggung sebanyak 23 siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, tes dan dokumentasi.Validitas dan hasil penelitian dilakukan dengan validitas isi (content validity) melalui expert judgement.Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan sederhana siswa kelas III SDN 1 Gondangwayang Temanggung.Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 3,16 dengan persentase 78% dan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata 3,96 dengan persentase 91%. Hasil penilaian keterampilan menulis karangan sederhana ditunjukkan pada nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada kondisi awal, yaitu 65,7 dengan persentase 35%,  sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada siklus I adalah 70,13 dengan persentase 61%. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 80,54 dengan persentase 96%.

Abstract

             Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) agar dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sokorini 1 Muntilan Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 tersebut.Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus tindakan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sokorini 1 Muntilan yang terdiri dari 33 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar angket, lembar observasi, dan tes. Uji coba instrumen yang dipakai adalah uji coba angket motivasi belajar siswa dan uji coba tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata angket motivasi belajar siswa pada prasiklus sebesar 42,03 meningkat menjadi 57,39 pada siklus I dan pada siklus II naik menjadi 68,94. Sedangkan dari hasil observasi pada prasiklus adalah 37,87% meningkat menjadi 53,03% pada siklus I dan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 60,22% pada siklus II. Prestasi belajar siswa juga meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata pada prasiklus sebesar 61,6, jumlah ini meningkat pada siklus I dengan rata-rata menjadi 74,74 dan meningkat dengan rata-rata menjadi 80,22 pada siklus II. Kesimpulannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to compare mathematics learning achievement of students with Mind Mapping learning methods and mathematics achievement of students with direct instruction methods. This research is a quantitative study using an experimental method. This study population is the class V SDN Jiwan 01. The sample consists of two classes, namely class V A total of 30 students by Mind Mapping learning methods and class V B as many as 29 students by direct instruction method. Data taken using the test method. Data analysis using t test. The results of data analysis showed that the average value of the class by direct instruction methods is 53.611 while the average grade by Mind Mapping learning methods is 62.121. Results of t-test showed that the achievement tobs= 2,449 with a significance level of 5% and dk=68 obtained ttabel = 1,645. tobs > ttabel. This means that H0 is rejected. Thus the working hypothesis proposed by the researchers rejected. So student achievement taught using Mind Mapping method of learning is better than learning achievement of students who are taught by the direct instruction method.

Abstract

Karawitan is one of the performances that has developed and been culturally entrenched in the areas of Indonesia, especially in Java, and even it has developed in foreign countries. Karawitan is a medium generated from some elements of the gamelan instruments covering  sound aesthetics and presentation aesthetics. The unity of the musical elements in karawitan constitutes a paradigm for the manifestation of life, nature, and the environment. The social function of presenting a gendhing in Javanese karawitan is the method applied by society, ranging from the religious characters and aspects, families, to individuals.Karawitan can be narrowed down as a medium of education, which can be seen from the viewpoint of how to play it; karawitan becomes a musical presentation enoyable to listen to when played together. This reflects that togetherness is one thing that is very important to achieve quality music (musical arrangement). This also means moral education in order that we live in togetherness through cooperation, tolerance, empathy, self-adjustment, well-founded dispute not unfounded dispute, and avoidance of selfishness and being individualistic.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to know (1) the category of learning achievement of social science subject  by using contextual teaching and learning, (2) the category of learning achievement of social science subject  by using expository, and (3) the difference of learning achievement of social science subject  by using contextual teaching and learning and expository. The type of this study was quasi experiment. Data collection techniques used documentation and test. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing by using Z test that was started by homogeneity variance and normality test. This study shows that (1) the category of learning achievement of social science subject  by using contextual teaching and learning was in medium category with the mean sore 22.404 in the interval 21.35723.452. (2) The category of learning achievement of social science subject by using expository was in medium category with the mean score 20.451 in the interval 19.310  21.593. (3) Based on the analysis, the score of Zc = 4.73661 > Zt =1.65. It means that there was a positive and significant difference of learning achievement of social science subject by using contextual teaching and learning and expository.

Abstract

 ABSTRAKAbstract : This study aimed to the development strategy of character education in elementary Brajan Poor Bantul through extracurricular dance of the school year 2015/2016 , 152 student population , a sample class III , IV , and V, as well as an extracurricular dance teacher . Data collection technique; observation , interviews , documentation . The data is processed through the test requirements analysis , increase endurance, triangulation , reference material , were analyzed with the data collection , data reduction, a data display, and conclusion drawing. Strategy through the alignment of dance music and movement, gave a downbeat count, communicating the moral values synopsis of dance, as well as the interaction of teachers and students ; the role of teachers to develop character education as a facilitator , motivator , innovator ; barriers teacher of teachers themselves , facilities and infrastructure , students , and the environment.

Abstract

 AbstractChild with special needs is if there is something less or even more in him. There is a strong connection between the daily movement patterns and dance patterns with how the behavior of children with special needs to interact with the surrounding environment. Movement which is projected by special needs children are reflection of the level of their confidence. Through creative dance movement with special needs children need to be helped to feel confident that their existence can be equated with normal children. Daily motion used in movement therapy helps excitatory motor coordination body of the child in order to be able to realize themselves without limits. The creative dance learning model is the educator tools to track the level of a creative intelligence in solving the existing problems on himself. Creative learning in dance at least include aspects; exploration, improvisation, incubation and results. In the exploration of this movement is the child trying to find themselves, but of dancing motion is only used as a motion experience whose activities led or child-centered. Mobility of motion can be used as an orientation in enhancing creativity in children with special needs SLB-G Daya Ananda Yayasan Sayap Ibu Kalasan Yogyakarta. This qualitative study describes how the implementation process of creative dance learning model.
