Abstract

AbstractStudy among 112 Master degree students at Faculty of Economics, State  University of Jakarta revealed some important findings: 1) students’ positive attitude is strong, students’ subjective norms is high, students’  selfefficacy is medium, and students’ entrepreneurial intention rate is  medium; 2) attitude which controlled by age significantly influenced the  students’ entrepreneurial intention; 3) subjective norms which controlled by  age significantly influenced the students’ entrepreneurial intention; 4)  selfefficacy which controlled by the age significantly influenced the  students’ entrepreneurial intention; and 5) attitude, subjective norms, and  self-efficacy which controlled by the age influenced students’  entrepreneurial intention. Another important finding shows that 14.6%  students’ entrepreneurial intention formed by attitude, subjective norms, and self-efficacy.

Abstract

AbstractEntrepreneurial spirit can have the character of street children through  education, hard work and comprehensive knowledge. The general objective  of the research is to produce a model entrepreneur community among street children and realize the nature and behavior of self to not be  a burden to others. The study design was a multiple case study.  Methods of data collection using a combination of approaches (triangulat  which include: surveys, observation, field study, FGD (focus group  discussion), PRA (Participatory rural appraisals) and action research.  Samples numbered 33 street children in the city of Palembang, results  showed some children street in the city of Palembang born of the economic  downturn the bottom layer of society. they become street  children due to the low socio-economic conditions of the family and his  efforts to use the money to support their families and personal needs such  as playing online games at Internet cafes. Activities undertaken by  street children is singing on the bus, begging, hawkers (selling  newspapers, food and soft drinks). Conclusions Entrepreneur modeling  studies can be done through family empowerment approaches and models  of mentoring, especially in terms of economy, education and  religion. Through family involvement can accelerate the growth of the  entrepreneurial spirit for street children

Abstract

AbstractThe configuration of cooperation between industry, government and society  has experienced a shift from partial process to integrative process, from top down to bottom up. One of the triggers of these changes is the practice of cooperation based on shared value. A cooperation based on the production of competitive shared value’s orientation, based on its potential and social economic condition. It is hoped that shared value will create a  new changes. The actors are not only from the big city, but also we can  find the practice of shared value among small-scale batik industry in  Sumenep region, Madura. In this article, the empirical data about shared  value among actors of small-scale batik industry that have strong religious  background was obtained through in-depth interview and  observation. The embededness of value creates a bondedness of trust  among the actors who cooperate in the small-scale batik industry.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is investigating the relationship between religiousmedia consumption and religiosity among youth. The research is based itsassumption on media cultivation effect theory. According to this theory,media consumption is correlated with audiences' perception about the world.The religiosity in this research is divided into two variables, the level ofreligiosity and the religiosity orientation (extrinsic and intrinsic orientation).The research use quantitative methodology and survey as the method of datacollection. Population is drawn from students at two universities,Universitas Paramadina and Universitas Islam X at Jakarta (sample size is600 respondents). The research found significant but very weak relationshipbetween religious media consumption and the level of religiosity ( p= 0,046,r= 0,083), significant and weak correlation between religious mediaconsumption and intrinsic religious orientation ( p = 0,008, r= 0,110), and nosignificant relationship between religious media consumption and extrinsicreligious orientation.

Abstract

AbstractThis research has two purposes. The first was to conduct furthertesting of the influence of distributive and procedural justice on careersatisfaction and workplace retaliation behavior. The second was to testwhether the relationship between distributive and procedural justice to theretaliation behavior mediated by career satisfaction.The data analysistechnique used in this study was SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) whichwas operated through the program AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure).Data collection techniques used in this research was questionnaires. Thepopulation of this reaserch was private employees within Daerah IstemewaYogyakarta (DIY) and the samples were taken using convenience samplingtechnique. The number of the sample were 165 employees. The resultsindicated that career distributive and procedural justice are strong predictorto explain career satisfaction. Then career satisfaction were negativepredictor to explain retaliation behavior. This finding explained that careersatisfaction were mediation variable to explain the influence of distributivejustice to retaliation behavior. Beside that, career satisfaction wereimportant mediator to explained the influence of procedural justice toretaliation behavior. Both of career distributive and procedural justice hasno significant effect to predict retaliation behavior directly.

Abstract

AbstractNawal al-Sa'adawi is a doctor from Egypt who is also famous as a writer,  novelist and feminist. He raised the issue of gender in his work Almar'ah wa  al-Jins (Women and Sex) that associated with the issue of circumcision for  women. Generally in the world and particularly in the Egypt, the emergence of  circumcision became a tradition among the people, the problem that is always  "sue" in the mind of Nawal al-Sa'adawi, because it was thought as  uneliminated heritage. In addition, the circumcision is not come from the doctrine of Islam that must be maintained.
